My mother was recently seen by Dr. Beri. She has vision in one eye and is a senior citizen. She waited for over an hour and a half when there weren't any patients in the office. In order to receive a bus pass for Tri-met (she cannot drive due to her vision) she asked her to sign a form. Dr. Beri then stated that she didn't want to do the extra work and it would cost her 25.00.
The receptionist told my mother that she makes 25.00 for each and every form she signs. When my mother stated that she was unemployed and a senior citizen this woman said "I'll refer you back to the front desk" I have never in my life heard of a patient being treated with such blatent disregard. It sickens me that she was treated this way. If she doesn't want to "do extra work" why did she become a doctor? Save your money and go somewhere else.
