Brett Stefan, DC, MS, is a chiropractor, nutritional performance coach, and certified personal trainer. As the primary provider at Farabaugh Chiropractic in Westerville of Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Stefan is committed to the practice's goal: "Let's get you back to being you." The frequent minor musculoskeletal injuries Dr. Stefan endured throughout his athletic youth introduced him to chiropractic care from a friend's father. His personal experience with the rapid improvement and lasting benefits of chiropractic inspired Dr. Stefan's career path.
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive mechanical procedure performed within our office to help alleviate back pain. It involves gently stretching the spine to take pressure off the spinal discs (the cushions that separate the vertebrae in the spine). By relieving this pressure, bulging discs can retract back into place which takes pressure off the nerves in the spine. By decompressing the spine, it permits water, oxygen and other fluids to work their way back into the discs allowing them to heal naturally.
This was my first time visiting a Chiropractor and Dr. Stefan made me very comfortable, and explained everything throughly. I would definitely. I worked with Dr. Brett Stefan and he is always friendly and professional. He has a variety of treatments available to be able to help and approach any issue at hand.

I came to Farabaugh Chiropractic in 2008 for decompression therapy in my low back. Thankfully, it saved me from getting any back surgery. More recently, I was having neck issues, so I returned to the clinic to get decompression therapy on my neck. It's been great so far. The staff is friendly and Dr. Stefan is super helpful.

I went in with specific concerns and Brett addressed each one. He is so knowledgeable and explained why I was experiencing the pain I was having. Offers strengthening and stretching exercises and encouraged me with my clean diet regimen. I will continue visiting his office as needed. I must also say he has great office staff.

After injuring my sciatica nerve and experiencing excruciating pain daily, I felt that I would no longer be able to work and disability was a real (terrifying ) thought. After meeting with Dr. Stefan he felt that under his care he could stabilize the injury, elevate the pain and with an ongoing yet very simple back strengthening exercise regimen (that I do at home 10 mins 3-4 times weekly) keep it stabilized.
With in thirty days my situation was stabilized and I was pain free! I was facing a very serious injury with a very bad outcome insight, Dr. Stefan changed all that! Dr. Stefan, Thank You!

Dr. Stefan has been very imformative in my treatment. Iam very thankful I found their office. His treatment has resulted in a great reduction in the pain I was having and being able to function more normally in my daily activities. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needed chiropractic treatment. This was my first real experience with chiropractic sand it has been very positive.

Farabaugh Chiropractic is truly awesome! Before my initial visit, I was unsure of what to expect from chiropractic medicine. I have been involved in sports and athletics my entire life, but I had never taken the plunge to get chiropractic help. Let me tell you, from that first visit on I was pretty sold (and I'm not easily sold on anything). Dr. Stefan is truly a professional.
He takes the time to hear out your concerns, observe, and discern a long-term solution that is fitted for you. I was really impressed that he isn't at all satisfied with "putting a bandaid" on any issue. His integrity as a practitioner shows in his honesty- he explains to the lay person what is going on with your body and what is required to get you in great shape.
He explains his role in treatment and your role in conditioning and preventing further injury. An added bonus: Dr. Stefan, Denise, and the office staff are also just awesome people! Denise is so professional and so kind. Brightens my day every time I visit! I've been going to Farabaugh for about 7 months now and am so thankful for the work they do.

Dr. Stefan is very personable and considerate of me as an individual. I had developed severe shin splints and edema because of too much running. I was at the point where I could barely walk. Dr. Stefan started dry needling with me right away and within 3 weeks I was back moving well again. I can't say enough about the attention and care I received. Thank you, Dr. Stefan and your great and friendly staff!

I have been using Dr. Brent Stefan since a little before he became the new owner of Farabaugh Chiropractic. He has a great Staff, always very easy to work with and helpful in finding a time convenient to get me in. Recently I took a small fall smashing my shoulder into a wall, badly bruising it. I couldn't lift my arm higher than belt line. After 1 week with Brent and staff, I could lift it above my head. Amazing. Highly recommend.

Given my age and injuries, I've been treated by more than 18 chiropractors over time, so I feel qualified to give a testament as to the quality of care provided at this practice. It is excellent! In my opinion, Dr. Farabaugh is unsurpassed in his knowledge of the body and his applications of the body's healing principles. Everyone else there will go out of their way to assist patients with questions and needs.
I've been a patient here for 8 years now. My latest set of injuries, debilitated me for around 9 years as I was basically bedded for that period; but I've steadily improved since becoming a patient at this facility. With the care provided, I have been able to reduce opiate use by 95% and avoid surgery. I highly recommend this practice for many reasons, but what is extremely impressive is: I have referred them patients over time and on the one or two occasions when the injuries were outside of what they could offer as help, they referred them to those best able to help their particular needs.

Dr. Farabaugh was recommended by a friend many years ago. I was very skeptical about chiropractic care initially, but Dr. Farabaugh and his staff were great. Dr. Farabaugh patiently took the time to explain everything about chiropractic care and clearly answered all of my questions. He is one doctor who truly cares about his patients. My initial visit was due to a back/neck injury, which got better after only a few treatments.
After that initial visit, and more questions about chiropractic care, I found myself using his services to address other aches and pains associated with being a very active person. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Farabaugh to friends and family.

I started care with doctor Farabaugh over 20 years and experienced relief from chronic neck and back pain almost immediately. Both The neck and lower back pain have been eliminated from my life with occasional adjustments and proper exercise. Dr Farabaugh is recognized and respected nationally in his field. I have not had a worse experience at a chiropractic office. The staff was friendly, but confusing. They misled me about the amount I would have to pay, doubling the quote I got over the phone. Their documentation for insurance is confusing and their policy is backward. Nowhere else have I been expected to pay in full before my documentation was sent to my insurance.
On top of that the doctor told me my diagnosis was "garbage" and then proceeded to send me off with a tech I hadn't been introduced to, without telling me what for. When I got there it was for a therapy I had distinctly told him I did not like and did not want. Do not send your loved ones here unless they can stand up for themselves. No one should be told they have a garbage diagnosis, be misled about payment and then be asked to endure a treatment they did not want simply because the doctor could not listen.

My wife has been going to this practice since she was a baby. I just started going to this practice in January of 2011. I've been going to a chiropractor at least twice a year since I was 13 for basic maintenance. I can truly say Dr. Farabaugh is one of the nicest and more pleasant chiropractors I've ever seen. He is also very knowledgeable and I would %100 recommend him to anyone of my family and friends.
