I saw Dr. Iweha years ago and really liked her, for the most part. She seemed knowledgeable and experienced, with an outside-the-box mentality, which I like. She gave me a pretty serious diagnosis, with recommendations for some testing/treatment that made me a little uneasy. So, just as any responsible adult SHOULD do, I decided to go for a second opinion.

From there, my medical path lead me in a different direction and I didn't end up going back. At that time, I wasn't involved with anyone for ongoing endo care. Now I need ongoing care and I liked Dr. Iweha, so I tried to call and re-establish myself as a patient. My mind was blown, by the conversation I had with the receptionist there. She actually told me verbatim."Dr. Iweha has you BLOCKED because you left her for a second opinion. Arizona has a very small Endo community and the doctors talk.

You should be careful about BOUNCING AROUND, as endos don't like that and they'll block you from future care". Is this for real? Like they're some kind of gang?! And patients are "black-listed" because they've decided to get a second opinion on permanent, lifelong, irreversible treatments/recommendations?! How petty, childish and unprofessional!

They are closed on Fridays. I always wait at least an hour before I'm seen by the doctor. The people that work there are nice, but the office is ridiculous. People break in and steal the medical equipment. You need to wait months before you can be seen which is frustrating. I was experiencing weight loss and fainting spells so I told them I needed some time to focus on my health with my other specialists for a few weeks and they sent me formal discharge papers LOL good riddance.

Let me start by saying Dr. Iweha is absolutely a sweet and caring doctor. She treated me with nothing but respect and has a great sense of humor. But I just received a letter stating that I was rude and cursed out the office manager over an issue with their billing. I brought up that a $60 copay for results from lab work was ridiculous since I paid the initial $60.

When I go to my primary care doctor there is no charge for lab results. The office manager, Jodene Rainford, stormed out of her office and was very rude and disrespectful to me. I never once cussed at anyone or raised my voice. She was the one who yelled at me. I find her lies and unprofessional behavior to be a reason that I won't be going back. That's sad since Dr. Iweha is such a truly great physician.

Friendly and attentive staff. I'm always greeted with a smile and often by name. Both the Dr. Iweha and the office manager have been very helpful and honest when I have had questions. I recently referred 2 diabetic friends to their office.

Is there an option for a negative review? Let me begin with how horrible the customer service is Diego, Jessica, and Omar are extremely rude towards patients. The manager is by far the worst human being I've ever spoken she is evil and vindictive towards patients as well. The manager refused service because we are not important enough to be seen. They are liars and racist against towards Hispanic people. No wonder there are so many horrible reviews everything written about them is completely true. If ever referred to this place beg your doctor to refer you to somewhere else.

Dr. Iweha is the absolute best. She is brilliant, compassionate and has helped me tremendously for the past 15 years. Truly a life-saver. Just saying thanks isn't enough. Jodene and the entire staff are also very warm and hospitable. Thank you Panda Medical!

I have been a patient here for over 5 years. Dr. Iweha found the right formula to control my cholesterol and my headaches. She and her staff have always listened and treated me with respect.

If it's possible to give a negative review I definitely would. Not only are they extremely rude they are liars. The manager is by far the worst person I've ever spoken with and refused service after letting us know that we're not important enough patients to even see. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If ever referred to this place please ask for another specialist where you can actually receive medical attention.

The worst place I have ever been. Was not taken seriously. My cardiologist noticed abnormal thyroid blood test but the endocrinologist wouldn't even test me for thyroid. I'm "too young" I believe is all she thought because she wouldn't test me because she thought it was anything but my thyroid. All the other random unneeded tests were negative. What a joke. For my 2 appointments I was waiting over an hour. I could go on and on about this terrible place

Please go anywhere BUT here. They take forever to see you and just give you about 5-10 min of their time and just send you on your way. I was here for about a year and she never made any changes to my insulin pump, I had to do it on my own and see what worked for me. So unprofessional.

I hope that no other patient's go thru what I have with this clinic. It took me years to get my primary doctor to give me a referral. The 1st time I had an appointment over 6 months ago. They ordered like 8 maybe 9 tubes of blood. I then received a letter saying I would have to schedule an appointment to get results and to discuss treatment options.

They refused to give me any information over the phone. Even though COVID was just taking off again. Then I couldn't keep a couple of appointments due to other family members testing positive for covid and other emergency medical services for members of my family that I care for. Finally I am able to make my apppintment. They tell me that my blood test showed a positive tb.

So on my husband's weekend birthday getting that kind of need is scary especially waiting over 6 months to hear this. She ordered a chest essay I did the next day. She had also said she was going to start antibiotics. The next business day I called to ask where is my antibiotics? They call me back with no meds and give me the results of a new blood test on my thyroid.

All good and they then tell me they sent my essays for the t.v. to my primary doctor who I have left 3 messages and they still havnt gotten back to me. So why would the Endo pass their diagnosis of t.v. on without any explanation. SERIOUSLY?

Dr. Chioma is the best doctor I have had. She is brilliant and immediately understands what is going on. She has empathy while remaining calm and professional. When I first met her, I had a renewed sense of hope. She has been my physician for years and has never let me down. Really, if you are fortunate enough to come in to her care, you are blessed. I recommend her without reservation.

If you're considering this place for your care, DO NOT DO IT. BEG your doctor for a referral elsewhere. The wait time to get an appointment is the least of my problems with this office. For background - I am not a patient here, but accompanied a patient to their first visit, as I have a clinical doctorate and am a medical provider myself. First, we were taken back by an MA who apparently does not know how to even take blood pressure.

She performed the entire process too fast to get an accurate reading, and didn't even listen to the correct artery - which is literally the entire basis for taking BP. She placed the cuff at the patient's forearm, and placed the stethoscope ABOVE the cuff at the brachial artery. Whatever reading she got is completely bogus. Next, a different girl comes into the room and states her name, and that she will be talking with us.

I believe she is a student due to her medical school white coat, but she did not introduce herself as such. All I know about her is that her name is Sue. She does give us the opportunity to ask questions, but does not answer any of them. I assume she is making notes for the doctor to address when she enters the room. She leaves and states that she will be back with the doctor. Shortly, they both enter the room, and Dr. Iweha states her name and sits down without shaking our hands or even looking at us.

She proceeds to speak to the patient and myself as if we are the dumbest humans she has ever encountered. She states that the patient's current treatment plan is completely incorrect, though his numbers might look good now. I'll note - the patient's most recent blood work is near perfect (A1c went from 12.8 in October to 5.7 in December).

The tone she used with us, and the raised eyebrow, wide eyed look she gave us for 90% of our visit was almost enough for both of us to walk out of the visit. She raised her voice at us, cut us off, and treated us as if we were arguing with her, though we had both completely checked out at this point. Mind you, the patient is a NEWLY DIAGNOSED diabetic, and has only been following the directions of his other doctors.

She spent almost the entire visit telling the patient that they are doing everything incorrectly, and maybe 20 seconds providing a useful suggestion, despite us asking for her suggestions each time she made a blatantly rude comment. She never addressed any of the questions we had asked to her or to Sue. When I tried to explain that we had already tried her suggestions initially (with poor results), she asked me if I am diabetic, implying that I have no grounds to speak because I do not have the diagnosis.

I am advising the patient to NEVER return here and to seek endocrinology services somewhere else, and I urge you to do the same. This is absolutely not how you talk to a human being, never mind a person that you want to trust you with their health. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of professionalism at this office.

Rude and unprofessional! My original appointment was scheduled two months out from the original date Panda Medical Associates contacted me. They call me six hours before my appointment to tell me my appointment got cancelled and they need to reschedule it. I said okay that's fine then they said it's for two months out. I told them that is unacceptable and I wanted to speak with a supervisor.

They had me leave a voicemail. I left a message indicating I understand that things happen and have to be rescheduled but two months out is extreme especially with my thyroids being so severe. They had an office person call me back to say the same thing, "Sorry the doctor is completely booked. January 9th is the soonest date available." I asked for the manager and was told she did not want to talk to me because she didn't like how I was speaking in my voicemail. I did not yell. I did not curse. I said my health is at risk. My thyroids are extremely low and I have no energy, and two months is unacceptable.

Customer service isn't the best, especially over the phone. I have been treated pretty rudely by them various times when I've called for information. I was referred here by my primary doctor and he seems to have a difficult time getting ahold of them to fax my records. Aside from the customer service, my visit with the doctor was actually very helpful and I was able to discover my wheat allergy thanks to her.

I have been bringing my mom to see her doctor here and every time we come it's 2-3 hour wait time for doctor. When the doctor finally comes to see her it's about for 5-10 min. Don't understand why they don't schedule appointments accordingly. They must think we have nothing else to do but wait all day for them. It's ridiculous and so frustrating

I was diagnosed with bilateral adrenal pheochromocytoma and told that I needed 2 surgeries. I was referred to 2 surgeons who disagree with Dr Iweha's diagnosis. Over $30, 000.00 in testing to be misdiagnosed? Many mistakes with referrals and the front office. Manager Jodiene Rainford will belittle you and say you agreed to cash payments. I can't believe this can happen in 2018! I'm very disappointed!

The office staff is extremely slow. they never tell you when ur supposed to be fasting for tests. & they never follow up with you when they say they will. & then LIE and say something that never came out of ur mouth, ever. Dr Iweha, can be very hard to read and may come off harsh and/or non concerning. but the woman knows her stuff & i feel that im actually being heard for once & getting all the tests done that were once considered "unnecessary" so maybe shes not the empathetic type, but she does do what is needed and will make sure she gets to the bottom of hr diagnosis. whatever. im not here to make friends ALTHOUGH, my BIGGEST BIGGEST complaint is waiting times. my appt was at 5pm and i didnt get seen until 6:45pm! i have a family at home & a young child that needed to eat dinner. totally unacceptable and this is every single time!

Worst Experience ever, I had been referred for Thryoid issues by my Doctor, I made an appointment 2 months in advance, when I got there they told me I didn't have an appt and had to be worked worked in, 2.5 hours later, the nurse took me to the scale and asked me how long I have been diabetic, it took me back, I said Im not diabetic. She looked at the chart confused, I was then taken into a room to see Dr Chioma N Iweha, she asked me how long I have been diabetic and how I was feeling, I then said I am not diabetic and do you have the correct files?

She then proceeded to yell at me and said, I didn't ask you about your files I asked how you are feeling! I said well Im stunned because everyone keeps asking me about being diabetic, I went back to my doctor and reported this horrible place, I will never ever go there again or refer them to anyone

On my first visit I spent more time with the med student then I did with the doctor. The doctor (Iweha) came in for maybe 5 min. ordered some labs and told me to come back in a month. Her office policy is not to give copies of your labs until she reviews them with you. On my next visit the wait time was over an hour. Still the office refused to give me a copy of my lab results.

I feel she only wanted my copay and to bill my insurance co. just to tell me to come back in a few months. I felt more like a dollar sign then a patient. I finally got them to fax my labs to my PCP after a week and my labs were fine.
