ZERO STARS! Definitely NOT at all helpful. My niece was just born there yesterday. Staff was rude. Not helpful. Refuse to answer questions. Multiple staff were given different stories on how to feed newborns including one or 2 saying that a newborn babygirl Does NOT need to eat for the next 2 to 3 week and only requires ONE DROP of food during that time? Are you kidding me?
Very dissatisfied and DISAPPOINTED! Had my Niece crying and the mom crying for hours. Shame on them for treating my sister, her husband and her newborn like this. These are the most uncaring people ever! Definitely not recommending any baby help here! That 7th floor staff is something else. Just about ALL of them. SMH!

Zero Stars! Please Do Not Make this a first stop in case of emergencies. This is not a hospital to be seen at, unfortunately I wish we had a good experience being seen here but that was not the case. The staff was not compassionate, they did not have answers to our questions which could have been easily resolved if they looked into the lab results.
They were only pushing their agenda to do a surgery that was not needed. They released my mother under the impression that she was safe to return home. Only to find out that she needs to be back in the ER immediately. The staff was unprofessional, had no compassion. Please do not be seen here for your own safety.

Came here for medical attention on a laceration. About 10 different staff members had helped me out for various things, and they were all very kind and understanding. However, the whole process took almost 5 hours from check in to discharge. But, as far as I know, almost all hospitals are like this. That plus COVID plus the fact that my injury was not life-threatening probably factored into the long visit time as well.

So many upsetting experiences here! Visitor guidelines change depending on the person you talk to. My mom was in her room for hours at a time with no one checking on her. When physical therapy came, she couldn't participate because she had been sitting in poop for who knows how long! The physical therapist was awesome! He tried so hard to help her.

I had a phenomenally positive experience here! Every single professional who interacted with me at whatever level was friendly, competent, collaborative, patient, and kind. From the surgeon and anesthesiologist to the food service and custodial staff, I was treated like a human being with dignity and respect and kindness. Even the food was pretty good.
I can't imagine how I could have been better cared for. I tried not to be that annoying patient always ringing the call button, but that first night after surgery I needed a lot of help and they were always quick to respond and cheerful about helping. When they were busy with another patient they always gave me an accurate estimate of how long they would be. I'm so grateful for the care I received.

The mental healthcare system is very unprofessional. most social interaction between patients isn't allowed, most nurses were unprofessional, uncaring and treated the children like objects for the most part. patients are not allowed time outside for fresh air or vitamin d which is vital for depressed patients. our "free time" was spent sitting in our empty rooms with not much of an option for activities besides a journal and a book. phone calls from anyone besides parents weren't allowed unlike most mental health facilities, phone calls from biological family members weren't even an exception. overall i had an awful experience and wouldn't request the mental healthcare system to anyone.

I came to the ER for a mental health crisis. When I was taken in I met with a triage nurse who asked me a few questions and then told me that I would be meeting with a doctor and I would be getting a psych assessment. After three hours, which fair enough it is an ER I get it that it takes awhile, I asked the nurse if there was any info on when I would be seen by the psychologist.
They sent in a doctor who was with me for all of 5 minutes and asked me maybe 5 questions. 3 hours later, still waiting for the psych assessment I asked to leave, considering I had been there for 8 hours and they couldn't get a psychologist to see me. Instead the same doctor who had talked to me for 5 minutes came in and told me that I had agreed to be admitted and I wasn't allowed to leave.
They wouldn't tell me if or when there would be a bed available and no one would answer as to why I didn't have a psych assessment yet. The next morning, still no assessment. I told my new nurse and doctor that if I didn't get an evaluation I wanted to leave as they couldn't give me any information on why or when I was being admitted. I had to call my mother who drove from 3 hours away to come in and help me communicate because I couldn't understand why all of the staff were treating me like a child and not answering any of my questions.
Finally after 17 hours in the ER, I demanded to see the doctor again to ask to be evaluated by literally anybody before I was admitted to the psych ward. He told me I had already been evaluated, but because my mother was there, he told us he would double check. 10 minutes later a psychologist came in the room. They never evaluated me because they were using a psych evaluation on my chart from 2 YEARS AGO and they were going to admit me without me ever actually talking to someone trained in psych issues.
Not a single member of the staff thought to check the date and instead threatened me with an involuntary hold if I kept asking to see a psychologist or leave. Needless to say when they realized their mistake I was out of there real quick. Gross incompetence, and the staff are real quick to strip you of your personhood if its a psychological related issue.
I don't know how many times I asked to be evaluated by a psychologist, but for 17 hours not a single person thought to double check I had actually been evaluated? Instead they probably just marked me as crazy and moved on. I was treated like a child in trouble instead of someone seeking help. Do yourself a favor if you are in crisis and go to Abbott, where people will actually help you.

Dr Alda Moettus is not a kind doctor. I had a horrible experience with her. She has no compassion and talked like she knew it all without actually listening to me. She may be smart of course to be a doctor but personality and bed side manner is a whole different category that is important and she lacks this 100%. Zero patience, zero sense of humor, zero personality, zero ability to interact appropriately. Makes people with doctor anxiety get even more scared.
Just a bit of compassion will go a long way. Knowing it all doesn't make you a good doctor or a good person. Take a step back and rethink who you are Dr Alda because you are not a good doctor.
