North Mountain Medical Rehabilitation

I worked here for several months and I can say it was a horrible experience. They bribe employees to put good reviews on Google so their rating stays up. However during my time here, I was denied lunches and taken off the schedule after I had already driven all the way out and shown up for my shift on several different occasions. They treat the patients horribly.

They go into patient rooms and gossip about other patients while they are in there in front of patients and their families. They leave call lights on for hours, ignoring them on purpose because they dislike certain patients and leave them unchanged for hours as well. During my time there I also saw them leave patients in their wheelchairs in the hallway for so long that they would fall out of the chair onto the floor and have to be sent out to a hospital to be checked for any injuries. Do not send your family members or loved ones here if you care about them at all.

I'm the sister of the patient that was there for little over 2 weeks before he passed. We where never allowed to see him because of Covid. Several family members tried to make arrangements to visit! Staff would always say. Will call you back! No one ever, ever calls you back, even tried contacting his social worker, Norma, never would return calls.

Would call also and NO one would answer phone! Or they would transfer to nurses and they would hang up! If try calling back, no answer, but if you try calling from a different number they would answer! Therefore my brother passed alone and with no visits ever from family! I would never put my dog in this place, makes you wonder if the patients are being ignored like the Phones! I will be filing a formal complaint with medical board! And the social worker. I had a great experience working at North Mountain. I am a PT student finishing a clinical experience and the staff was always very helpful and supportive. Everyone in the therapy team is fantastic. Shannon was a great mentor and teacher throughout my time here. I owe all the credit to her, without her I would not feel as prepared or confident in myself to be able to handle the patient population and demand of this setting. She prepared me well and gave me the guidance to succeed.

Mitch and his team made the process of my admission so seamless and put me at ease! The care that I received was amazing. The staff were attentive, kind, and went above and beyond! The facility was very nice, cleanly, and always had activities to choose from. The therapy team really helped me reach my goals and I would highly recommend this facility to any one that is in need of rehabilitation.

My Mother in law was admitted to North Mountain for about 10 days. The staff was so kind and amazing to her. They treated her with respect and accommodated all of her requests. The doctor caring for her was kind and compassionate and communication was top notch! I am so glad she was able to go there to recover, she is at home now, happy and feeling much better.she is even cooking for herself! Thank you North Mountain for having a major impact on her care and well-being!

North Mountain Medical & Rehab Center is a wonderful facility. They have exceptional services and staff. Upon arrival today, I met with Mitchell who was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. While their facility was currently not open to visitors, he met me outside to answer all my questions. It was nice to be greeted in such a pleasant, professional manner. I look forward to going back in the near future.

North Mountain Rehab is amazing. They gave such great care to my grandmother. Mitch was amazing and assisted us through the transfer process from start to finish. He's very personable and can get you to the correct person you need right away. Lauren is always helpful and willing to assist you in anyway. Jose is great and can always bring a smile to your face. He is polite, friendly, and funny. The building is clean, smells good, and is welcoming.

North Mountain is by far the cleanest rehabilitation center I have been at. I just recently got hired and I am so excited to start working here! Everyone I have met so far has been kind and extremely helpful. Jason, the CEO, is one of the most down to earth CEOs I have ever spoken with. Friends, reading through reviews myself, and being in the facility, I can say with confidence, your loved ones that are in need will be taken care of at North Mountain. This facility is extremely skilled and robust and has very knowledgeable and caring staff. If your hesitant or have any questions, give us a call!

I have been working here now for about a month now and overall it has been a great experience! I really enjoy the atmosphere and the staff here are great. I do believe we have a great team and North Mountain and it's staff does their best to provide quality care. It has been rewarding to work with patients and improve their day even if it's by a little. As a new employee, I definitely think I made the best decision to work at North Mountain.

North Mountain fulfilled all that we were looking for and more! Their RT staff was amazing and so attentive to our needs. Each one was great and special kudos to Janice and Jeff. Their PT, OT and ST staff were very aware of what needed to be a accomplished and did all they needed to do and well. Their nurse's and CNA's did a wonderful job as well as all other employees. Jessica, our social worker was the BEST! We would definitely recommend North Mountain Medical and Rehabilitation without question!

North Mountain is the finest managed, ultra clean Skilled Nursing Facility in Arizona. The staff are professional, attentive, and responsible. The staff functions with integrity to help and care for the patients. The staff made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked into the facility. 5 stars is an understatement. HIGHLY recommend this place!

I can't say enough about how amazing North Mountain Medical is. It's hard to find a place for a loved one that checks everything off your "must have" list. The facility itself is amazing-very clean. What really gives my review the 5 stars is the staff! They are so incredibly kind and patient. I wish more places hired a staff that actually love what they do and take care of their patients!

I took my grandma to another facility in the past and she was treated horribly. I always thought, "why do people work doing what they do when they clearly hate it?" I never had to worry with North Mountain. She was always happy and my mind was always at ease. North mountain's communication is great and it brings tears to my eyes what a wonderful experience they provided. THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are doing more than you even know!
