I went in for my first visit. The front desk staff was attentive and pleasant. My time in the waiting room and waiting in the exam room was short. Dr. Menashe did a good hands-on exam and had me do a basic test in the office. He also ordered radiology and additional testing to be done. Over all more testing and concern then I had received in the last 6 years being "treated" by a large pulmonary company.
I have a follow up in a month after which I will have a better feel for this clinic. Right now I'm more positive that I will receive proper care then I have been in the past.

Just wanted to give a huge "Shout Out" to Theresa Pinder, PA at Desert Center! She took so the time to explain everything they had been checking for and more! She gave me insights I had never heard of and what the future looked like and what I needed to do for my health! WOW! In the end, she handed me a paper that she had listed the conversation and next steps in my medical journey! We need more physicians like her! Thank you so much!

I honestly cannot say enough about Samantha who is the assistant for Theresa Pinder at this facility she really does go above and beyond as super busy as they are and backlogs with everything she really takes the extra time to email whatever it takes to make sure that things are done correctly so kudos to Samantha

This place is the worst. The front desk is rude and disorganized. They will tell you the wrong time for your appointment and then make you leave for showing up when they made the mistake. They will schedule for testing during the same time that they also prescribed you medication that conflicts with the testing. Then you have to drive all the way to their office, just to drive home again.
They will keep you waiting for 30 or 40 minutes. The whole place is a nightmare. Doctors seem competent - except when it comes to hiring good staff. Worst I've experienced in the valley

I called for an appointment last week because I was looking for a new pulmonologist after recovering from pneumonia (I also have severe asthma). I was told I could get in this week with one of the PAs. When I arrived (on a Tuesday afternoon), the office told me that they had no record of me at all and that I did not have an appointment. I told them how I was recovering from pneumonia, how far I had traveled, and how I had cancelled appointments with other pulmonology offices.
I even showed them my phone log, which proved I had spoken with them for a long time last week. I asked if someone could squeeze me in either that day or later in the week. I was bluntly told that there were no openings this week. There was no apology or empathy for my situation. There was no attempt to help or understand at all. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Save your time and money and find another office. I was referred to this office by my PCP because of a breathing issue that I've been dealing with for 6+ months. They made it seem like they were eager to help and figure out what was going on, which made me feel very confident in the care. However, after my initial appointment, my thoughts changed.
The PA I saw ordered a bunch of different tests and prescribed a couple meds. It took over a month for the tests to be scheduled. I was also prescribed a medication that required prior authorization from my insurance which should only take a few days to receive. Nothing was put into motion until I had called the office asking what the hold up was.
I had to leave messages with the medical assistant, but never received callbacks. I called back a week later and finally got a hold of the medical assistant. She argued with me regarding what the PA had ordered, even though I was holding the sheet of paper with everything she ordered/prescribed right in front of me. There was apparently a miscommunication between her and the PA, causing the delay in scheduling of tests, and the prior authorization for my medication was never sent.
The MA ensured me that she would send off my prior auth again that day, and follow up with my insurance company the next day to make sure it was received by my insurance company. A week later, I still hadn't heard anything, so I decided to contact my insurance company directly to see if there was a problem on that end. They still hadn't received anything!
Two months after my first appointment, I finally had my follow up appointment and they dismissed anything I said, argued with me about the symptoms I was experiencing, and said nothing was wrong with me, there was nothing else they could do, and I should just talk to my PCP again. I have never felt more disrespected by medical professionals. I wish I would have gone with my gut two months ago and just found a different doctor.

*NO ONLINE PYMT OPTION - A NIGHTMARE* Unfortunately, I have to give 1 star - I would give 0 if I could. I saw Dr. Reddy in September 2020. He was very rude and did not seem to care about my concerns. He also didn't believe me when I told him about an allergy. I decided to not go back and find a different doctor. I then receive a bill FOUR months later.
My husband and I have spent over two months trying to get ahold of the billing office to pay - they do not have an online payment portal. You either have to mail in the check or get ahold of their one billing representative. I recommend going elsewhere for your allergy needs.

I had my first visit today to the office. It was professional from the initial call to the visit with Dr. Menashe who took his time, answered all my questions and arranged my next visit. I am leaving the largest pulmonary practice because the front office is a disaster. Thats after 12 years of decline.

I went there for about 5 years, and just got fed up with customer service. You can not see the same doctor, because they leave all the time. I believe I was on my 4th or 5th doctor. They also cant answer the phone, because when you call it says they are closed on the answer machine, though they should have been open for several hours. Also good luck reaching their billing department. I have never been so stressed out by a doctor's office.

They have posted signs saying that allergy shots are available starting at 8:15. I arrive early and sign the sheet at 8:15 then I'm told it may be a while until a doctor is in to allow for allergy shots. I needed to get to work at a certain time so I had to come back on my lunch hour. waisting my time and resources.

First visit saw Pulmonologist Dr S Finberg and he was okay, however he returned and took my calls 3 times after that time and that means a lot to me. Nothing serious some viral thing. 5 weeks later I insisted on allergy testing and the staff was kind and caring. The P.A.Leah Finberg facilitated the process and took her time answering all my questions. I left comforted & very pleased.

I have been going to Desert Center for almost 2 years now! I see Dr. Hrabak, and he is an extraordinary doctor! He has the best bedside manner I have ever seen in a doctor. I was very upfront that I wanted to do the shots, because I was horrible about taking medication. I was waiting for a lecture, but it never came. He was very understandable about my busy life style and said the shots would be a great option.
He also did a great job on explaining how allergy shots work and what to expect. Also his medical assistant is great! I will warn you however the office staff can be very rough around the edges. Not always the friendliest people. But it is well worth it to go see Dr. Hrabak!

Thank God! I'm so so happy to finally give a doctor 5 stars. I was referred by my family doc for allergy testing. There was some confusion in making my appointment, but otherwise it was a totally smooth experience. I got an appointment within 2 weeks which is unheard of with a specialist. The office feels high end, warm, tastefully decorated, very clean and lots of modern technology (these things are important to me! lol).
The staff was friendly and I was seen within minutes of getting there. That's not being taken back and bounced into a room within minutes of arriving, only to rot for another 45 minutes bored out of mind and screwing up the rest of my day- I was actually SEEN by a nurse within minutes of arriving and Dr Hrabak came in immediately after. From signing in to seeing the nurse (vitals), Dr Hrabak (exam), the nurse again (breathing test), Dr (conclusions), the nurse (instruction on how to use new meds), and making my follow up appointment, I was in my car and driving away in under an hour.
The nurse was super nice, too. By the way, unlike that other ass I recently reviewed, Dr Hrabak was very, very friendly to my baby- BIG POINTS. How can I say this nicely? The vast majority of doctors I've had to deal with are crusty old men who give no indication of personality, won't smile, act friendly, or like they are a normal person.
He is the total opposite- the guy knows his shit, is bright and friendly, and remains professional but without the crusty "I'm the doctor and you're the moron that needs me" attitude. If you have allergies this is the place to go in the valley- wherever you are its worth the drive. I'm a fan.
