Though Governor Abbott has lifted the mask mandate, face coverings are still required for entry to our offices. Sleep Consultants, Inc. has been accredited since 1984 for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep and circadian rhythm disorders. Our goal is to resolve the patient's sleep or waking complaint by making the appropriate diagnosis, and then treating the problem until the patient is satisfied.
The first step in solving sleep problems is a comprehensive evaluation with a sleep specialist. If warranted, the best way to further assess the sleep complaint is with an overnight sleep study, either in our home-like sleep lab or in your own home.

Services
Couples studies: Wife and husband sleep in the same bed at the same time in our sleep laboratory. This allows us to quantify each individual's sleep disorder(s) and the degree to which they interfere with each other's sleep. Desensitization therapy for CPAP compliance: We help our patients through a series of steps to help them adapt to CPAP use.
Included in this paperwork are the following forms: Introductory letter, map, patient registration form, patient health questionnaire, sleep questionnaire, sleep diary, assessment of patient behavior by bed partner, registration form, and consent to release patient health information. We work by an appointment system, with one or more of the doctors in the office each day.
Patients referred for evaluation and treatment are first seen by a sleep specialist in one of our offices. Sleep studies are accomplished at 2941 Oak Park Circle, Suite 200, just west of South Hulen Street. The lab features many bedrooms to meet your needs and state-of-the-art control rooms. CPAP equipment and renewable supplies may be obtained from one of our durable medical equipment offices. Our DME office is housed in the Oak Park location. Durable medical equipment is also available in the Harris Methodist Southwest office.
Alternately, you may pay your bill online via our secure Patient Portal www. MyHealthRecord.com. If you don't already have an account and would like one, please call the office to request a portal invitation or send an email to portalsupport@texaspulmonary.com with the patient's name and date of birth.

Dr. Don Watenpaugh is a caring, attentive physician. The work he and the center did for me has changed my life for the better. The staff was also kind and attentive. Something that surprised me: the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Since it is a professional medical facility, I kind of expected it to be something like a hospital room. It was so much better than that.
Each room has only one bed in it: a queen sized bed with a comforter and a headboard. The rooms also have a TV with a remote, nightstands, lamps etc. Both of the rooms I stayed in were cool and quiet. I strongly recommend this center. They exceeded every expectation.
