Our duplex ultrasound technology painlessly analyzes blood flow in arteries, veins and organs such as the kidneys. This non-invasive vascular testing can provide early detection of abnormalities in the arteries and veins.

Services
Our practice's five doctors are some of the leading vascular surgeons in the region - conducting research on the latest techniques; working closely with Overlake and Evergreen Hospitals; and providing vascular surgery, physician consultations; and spider and varicose vein treatments. Lake Washington Vascular has offices at Overlake Medical Center (Bellevue), EvergreenHealth Medical Center (Kirkland), and Highmark Medical Center in Issaquah. We see and care for patients and have a full service vascular laboratory at all three of our locations.
A number of abnormalities such as clots, blockages or weakening of the blood vessels may cause vascular disorders. Whether you have a serious health issue, or if your concern is solely cosmetic, our vascular specialists can diagnose your vascular disorders and find the most effective treatment for you.
Whether it's for a medical or a cosmetic procedure, the physician you choose is an important decision. You need to feel comfortable with your provider-do you like and trust the doctor? Along with this, ask yourself: is the facility both state of the art and welcoming? Is the vascular diagnostic lab accredited?
Varicose veins are veins that have become dilated because of valve failure. The one-way valves inside veins normally keep blood flowing from the feet towards the heart. When the valves fail, blood can pool in your leg veins and cause increased pressure, dilation, and pain. Other complications, such as swelling, changes in the color and texture of the skin, and even open sores, can occur as well.

Had surgery on my wrist recently and Dr. Gibson was wonderful. She even took her lunchtime to see me when I had some post-op questions. Really great about explaining what is going on and why. It's little wonder she's listed on Seattle Top Docs. Had a bit of a problem transferring information in but the staff was great otherwise. Would highly recommend.

Not impressed with the way this office is run. Dr. Gibson seems like she knows what she is doing but when the rest of the staff doesn't it makes you think twice. Transferred my husbands care because I just could not get comfortable with him going under the knife in a place where everyone doesn't communicate well or passes the buck.

I came in for imaging and visit with a surgeon after referral by my doctor. I was able to get an appointment on short notice. The clinic staff were very kind when they saw that I was not feeling well. I had a thorough evaluation, much better understanding about my problem, and left with a clear treatment plan.

Gonna have to agree with the other one star review. Called just to inquire about a thrombectomy surgery and the receptionist was so out of it. Didn't know anything about the surgery or even if the Drs performed it or how often. Not at all confidence instilling to potentially go under the knife with these people.
