Clinic Sofia Ob-Gyn

Clinic Sofia is the best in town. I see Dr Wagner, but also see Dr Stevens form time to time. I transferred from another provider to Clinic Sofia in 2019 during my pregnancy and was very stressed and scared. Dr Wagner spent more than the time we had scheduled for the consultation. She listened and paid attention to our concerns and laid out a very detailed plan for my husband and I for me and baby's care. Katie at the front desk is super friendly!

It was one of the best decisions of my life. The care is exceptional from the first day to delivery and after delivery day. Dr Stevens stopped by at one point to check on us. We can't thank you enough for how you've touched our hearts! The way we were welcomed, treated, taken cared off and continue to be cared for at Clinic Sofia is unmatched. We truly are grateful to have found a provider that truly care about their patients. Keep up the good work!

Incredibly unsympathetic, completely abuses medical power and emotionally abusive. to a PREGNANT woman. If you want any say in your pregnancy and birth I STRONGLY encourage you to look elsewhere. This place is shocking. I won't share my personal experience but hope this helps other women in deciding their OBGYN. You should have a voice in your pregnancy journey and birth, and you will not get one here. Best of luck to all the new mamas out there!

I had such a great experience at Clinic Sofia. I wasn't too pleased with my old provider and decided to check out Clinic Sofia after many recommendations. I was so nervous going in but the staff was very welcoming and it helped ease my nerves! The receptionist, nurse, and my doctor were all fantastic. I saw Dr. Brock and she really listened to my concerns. I can't recommend Clinic Sofia enough!

I saw Dr. Jordi for a while and found her to be the most defensive medical provider I've had. She seemed intensely frustrated when I asked questions, even when I took care to try to do it in a non-threatening way. She would say things that flat out contradicted other things she'd just said, and then seemed put out when I was confused. (This happened twice while a loved one was on speakerphone, so I had confirmation that it wasn't just my misinterpretation.) I gather she's pretty new at this so maybe this will change over time. but I won't be there to find out. I'm glad I resisted most of the procedures she suggested that seemed unnecessary to me.

Clinic Sofia is great. From the front desk to the sonographers to the Doctors, everyone I've met with has been fantastic. I see dr. Krahl regularly and highly recommend her. She was wonderful during the delivery of my daughter and went above and beyond to help calm my nerves before my planned cesarean. I'm grateful for the care I've received from Clinic Sofia and would highly recommend.

Edit: since the initial review, the clinic has reached out personally and is making efforts to ensure my wife is heard, understood and feels cared for. For that, I have increased this from 2 stars to 4 On behalf of my wife as she is to upset to write a review, I will start with the staff is very nice. Her OB moved to this clinic so she followed. This is being given stars only for friendliness of staff.

It's not given any more because they cannot seem to get scheduling done correctly. My wife had an appointment that had to be rescheduled. Confirmed rescheduled. Then was emailed reminding her of her appointment. Which was the original one. She then called twice to ensure the reschedule date still stood. They said they couldn't find her but then could and took the info again that her original appointment could not be kept and confirm the rescheduled one.

She shows up for her rescheduled one and she is not on schedule. Matter of fact her OB isn't even at that office location on the day of her reschedule. So my wife, already dealing with sick kids(I too dealing with sick kids before the internet thinks I'm THAT husband) and her own appointment prior at another provider. Drove accross town to her OB to find it was all for not. Please please get your schedule system figured out and train your employees properly.

This was my first time going to the gyno and I was super nervous. Prior to that I always just had my family medicine doctor do all of my women's health exams. I also never had a male doctor for women's health related issues, but thought i would give it a try. I chose Clinic Sofia because of all of the great reviews and all of the awards they had won (which are displayed in the lobby when you get there).

Everyone was so nice, from the receptionist ladies to the nurses. Dr. David Clay was seriously amazing. He made me feel so at ease since i was so nervous. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it and what i may feel. He even drew pictures for me to further explain. Overall I had a really great experience and would recommend him and this clinic to anyone. I will be back for my next appointment. Thanks Dr. Clay!

This practice exceeds 5 stars in every aspect. I used Dr. Block throughout my pregnancy. She was always patient, friendly, understanding, and gave me as much time as I needed. She went on vacation at the end of my pregnancy so I ended up switching to Dr. Wagner whom I loved just as much. I thought I was the only one who continues to use this practice as my primary physician even though my son is over 9 months old already but I happened to have been chatting with others who confirmed my feelings. The day they shut down is the day I stop having kids;- Top Notch Office.

Love Clinic Sofia! Dr. Block is amazing and made me feel so important and cared for. Jennifer Knapp (nurse practitioner was also so warm and thorough)! All other staff (nurses, ultrasound techs, front desk staff) are amazing and nice! This is my first pregnancy and so far i would recommend Clinic Sofia. Overall this clinic is clean, thorough, and welcoming!

Maple Grove Location: Requested to have my medical records transferred to a new clinic. have been there 5 times and have been seen by 3 different people. The nurses that check your weight and take blood etc. are all very nice and wonderful, the Ultra Sound lady is nice too. Other than that I've never felt comfortable there, the rooms are too small and I feel like just a number. EVERY time I go there there is a very very long wait to be seen, even though I get there before my appointment starts.

My last appointment I had a 35 min. wait, and not once did anyone apologize or say someone will be with you soon. Different advice with the three doctors, which was very confusing. Since this is our first baby, it is especially scary and all I wanted was to feel welcome and more than just a number. Sorry, I gave this place multiple chances and hate to write bad reviews but I just had to.

It's my first time walking into a obgyn office and feeling like a spa/ tea room experience it's very peaceful. Everyone was friendly and very helpful the doctors are not rushed and take time to answer any questions or concerns you have. I'm moving a few towns over but this place will be worth the drive.

Clinic Sofia is the highest quality service in town. They believe in building relationships and talk to you about more than just the basics. They have multiple locations depending where you live in the metro area. Hands down - the place to receive the highest quality of care!

Dr. Block and the team at Clinic Sophia are truly amazing. I'm an anesthesiologist and have worked with many OB/Gyns and I trust her and the rest of the doctors in her practice to take care of me and my children. My sister also sees Dr. Block and I've been present for her 3 deliveries. When things don't go as expected; Dr. Block is calm, collected and in charge. That is what I want in a provider. Someone who knows what to do regardless of the situation or stress level.

I love Dr. Wagner! She was awesome to work with for both of my pregnancies. I felt likes he really cared about me and me babies. I recently moved back to Colordao but if I were to get pregnant again I would come back for her to do the delivery. Couldn't have asked for a better Dr. during that time of my life!

Service at front desk service was poor. Medical assistant escort to room extremely poor-mumbling questions rapidly, handed me a paper gown, and dashed out of the room. Waited too long in cold room with nothing but a paper gown only to meet the doctor for the first time. Finally, the Front Desk never gave me my insurance card back & never apologized when they called to tell me they had it! There are better run clinics out there - I know it and will find it!

Dr. Block is the most wonderful OB anyone could wish for! She has delivered three wonderful babies for me! Now I'm older and having menstrual problems shes still the best! Two surgeries and three children delivered by the best OB ever! I feel lucky to have a TOP doctor, voted by so by peers for multiple years, in my corner. Love love love Clinic Sofia

I love Clinic Sofia and have had such a great experience there during my pregnancies. To compare, I started out at with a regular doctor's office with my first pregnancy. Everything went fine until 20 weeks when I had complications and my baby came at 21 weeks and didn't make it. I was recommended to switch to Doctor Block for future pregnancies, which I did, and I am forever grateful.

The procedures set in place to keep an eye on ladies during their pregnancies are a step above what they did in the regular doctor's office for me. They keep a closer eye on me, which I am sure has helped keep my babies until full-term. I now have a 22-month-old and am just a couple months away from my next one being delivered. I also know that the ladies at this office care about my pregnancies and are rooting for me to succeed.

I have had minor complications along the way with each one, and they have been extremely helpful making sure that I am taken care of and baby stays inside me. I highly, highly recommend this office. You will be happy about it!

I am extremely grateful for the care that Clinic Sofia has given me during the past two pregnancies. My first pregnancy was with a regular doctor's office, and I ended up losing my baby at 21 weeks due to complications. When someone suggested switching to Dr. Block at Clinic Sofia, I was a little unsure, but I guarantee they have been part of the reason that I now have a healthy toddler and another one coming in just a few months.

They have more precautionary items built into their regular visits that the other doctor did not have, and overall, I can tell they take better care over each patient. They cheer you on to the end, and will take very good care of you when complications arise. I would highly, highly recommend this clinic to women. It's a wonderful, personalized experience.

Being a first time mom, I was excited, scared, nervous, anxious all at the same time. We saw Dr. Wagner and she is amazing! She is so knowledgeable but also so easy to talk to! Very authentic and down to earth. She took the time to help me fully understand all the different doctor appointments, ultrasounds and labs I'd have during my pregnancy and also what to expect at the delivery.

Never once did she make me feel rushed or silly for asking questions. All of the staff you encounter at Clinic Sofia are warm, friendly, and helpful. I was experiencing spotting and very scared and called in after-hours and spoke with Dr. Block and she reassured me and comforted me! I saw Jennifer for a couple of my visits and she also took the time to explain everything to me and answered my questions about morning sickness, prenatal vitamins, and genetic testing options. I am so happy and grateful for Dr Wagner and all of Clinic Sofia!

I first went to Clinic Sofia about three years ago and was in a frustrated state of health and mind. From the very first visit they have been attentive, professional, caring, and above all, truly excellent doctors. A friend of mine who I referred there had a 3am health emergency and was able to immediately speak with a doctor who provided excellent advice with clarity and kindness. I trust them implicitly and will never go elsewhere for OBGYN services!

Usually, people write a review when they've had a really, really good experience or a really, really bad experience with a doctor. I've seen Donna Block for numerous times, and these are the things I've noticed that made me decide I will never, ever go back to Clinic Sofia again: 1. Dr. Block has no respect for patients' time: every time I go in, I have to wait at least 30 minutes until Dr.

Block comes. She is known to squeeze patients in even though her schedule is beyond full. Also, usually doctors ask us "do you have any questions" before they leave the room. Dr. Block sometimes just leaves the room in a hurry and does not even provide closure to the treatment, leaving me hanging. We're all busy people, our time matters too. 2. Patients don't come first, money does: since I've seen Dr.

Block many times over the years, I've noticed that Dr. Block, and all the other staff at Clinic Sofia, operates on the notion that they should push as many procedures, oftentimes unnecessary, onto the patients as possible so they can extra bill. 3. Perhaps as a result of reason #2, Dr. Block treats patients like we do not understand our own bodies and that she is always right: I am a doctor myself, and have other friends in the medical fields I consult with.

I noticed whenever I thought Dr. Block's treatment suggestions may not be the most effective approach, she never listened to my rationale or my own evaluation of my body. 4. Carelessness of the staff in treating patients: I recently got an ultrasound from Clinic Sofia per Dr. Block's recommendation. During the procedure, I noticed the ultrasound technician DID NOT PERFORM ANY CLEANING PROCEDURES before performing the ultrasound procedure. I've had other ultrasounds performed at Park Nicollet and the Mayo clinic.

Never have I seen such carelessness in the medical profession just to save time. This resulted in me getting an acute urinary tract & bladder infection (bloody urine, fever, chills, pain, body ache and headache) after the appointment. Because of #4, I've decided I will never, ever go back to Dr. Block and Clinic Sofia ever again. I will also tell all my friends, coworkers, and clients about this experience to prevent them from experiencing inadequate, potentially harmful treatments from Clinic Sofia.

And by writing this review, I hope you will view Dr. Block and Clinic Sofia with a grain of salt, and carefully evaluate their service and professionalism before you peruse their services. Good day.

Clinic Sofia is absolutely top notch! I've been treated so well while there; with care and respect. Everyone is on their game and is so friendly. They also follow through with calling back right away and have an easy way for you to check test results.
