Long time customer here. Parking is not adequate but Dr. Barrios and Christopher have excellent bedside manner. I come to get the laser rejuvenation and have so since 2011. I recently had Botox for the first time and found it was lacking in some areas. I could still see lines and where more could have been added. They did ask me to come back if I had an issue and that's good to know they stand behind their work.

Appalled that the receptionist hung up on me while I was trying to set an appointment and looking for a day that would fit my schedule. I called back and they keep sending me to voicemail. I'm shocked! Been coming here for more than 10 years

Had a great experience with Christopher. He's a perfectionist. He was able to remove my sun spot that I had for a long time. Also it was right under my eye which makes it harder to do. Five star!

The experience was fine. However, the main problem was I got a bill from them ONE AND A HALF YEARS later after I paid in full on what was charged on the day that I visited. When I called them, they told me that the insurance company missed processing the claims and took one and a half years to corrected it. I do not recommend people to go to this doctor's office because I don't want you to experience this absurd situation.

I've been coming here since about 06 or so. I never get anything short of fabulous service and I won't go anywhere else for my "beauty treatments". Sometimes I think about it because I'm not in the area anymore but he is worth it. He does everything very natural and simply looks like a more fabulous version of myself. To be honest I am scared to go somewhere else because you know how it can go.

I hate the plastic creepy look. That's not him at all and he will say if you need something or not and I respect that about him. He really cares about his work and he is very professional without the starch. His staff is wonderful too! His assistant is just precious.

I was introduced to Skin Renaissance many years ago by a friend of mine. Since then I have used Dr. Barrios several times, years apart. I would NEVER trust anybody with my face, except him. I now live in Destin, FL and I still come to Dr. Barrios for my fillers. He works on you like an artist working on a master piece. I am always happy with the results. I am due for a tweaking and just made an appointment. I am looking forward to my new results in the next year.

Had a phenomenal pre-op consult today. I've never done anything more drastic than microdermabrasion, but with my wedding date looming I am looking for a little "tune up". Christopher put me completely at ease. He answered all the questions I had and even some I didn't know to ask! Scheduling the actual appointment was very easy since Dr. Barrios keeps both Friday and Saturday procedure hours, and now I can't hardly wait to see my Skin Renaissance!

I've been going here since 2008. I haven't been in almost a year now, because I failed to find out where the new location was. It used to be on the corner of Bagby and Westhimer. Now its located on W Gray right passed Taft. I was riding down Gray and saw Skin Renaissance and was like what tha? Y'all know I had to turn around and make an appointment.

Okay let me go back. Back in 2008 a lot of laser hair removal places did not do laser on black skin. It was something about the tip burning the skin. So I was recommended this place by another specialist saying that they had something called a cooling tip which worked on black skin. I'm no professional, so I might sound dumb when I explain stuff.

But whatever! It's almost 2014 now and I'm sure things are different since 2008, but I continue to go to the same place. (I'm very loyal to good businesses) And this place gives me an AMAZING discount since I've gone so many times before for other things. Is it possible to be hooked on laser hair removal? Anyway I clearly am one of those people!

The staff is great. Anna at the front desk is so so so nice. And she remembers me every time I come. I have an appointment this Thursday. I'll take some photos and share them with you guys.
