Dr garner is absolutely amazing and I love my nose. the problem I have here is with billing. They have billed me incorrectly 3 times. They are supposed to refund me and I've been calling their office and even the manager since February with nothing back. now I have insurance bills that they incorrectly charged for and were supposed to fix. Amazing doctor, bad communication services and billi by department. That all needs revamped.

I had my thyroid removed by this clinic. They NEVER call back. Then when you finally get ahold of a nurse they tell you your pills are at the pharmacy. I have been at my pharmacy 3 times in 4 days. Still not here. I have been with out medication now for 5 days. They do not care about the health of their patients. I would recommend if you need vital surgery, go somewhere else. Very disappointing that now it's at the point where I have to go to the ER to get vital medication.

Douthit was a great ent when in the office. The problem with this place is they treat you like garbage. After having tubes placed in both ears I started having issues with them at about the 6 month mark. Tried to call and get seen asap for pain/pressure in ears and they wouldn't see me for over a month. Was told by doc in the box that one of the tubes had turned sideways.
Still couldn't get an appointment or even get someone to call me back on the phone. Had to call 3 times to be told that they wouldn't see me for a month. For the amount of money charged you would be better off going elsewhere. Would leave 0 stars if possible.

Completely unethical practice. Actual visit was fine but their billing is out of control. Took my 3 kids in for a simple ear cleaning. Spent less than 15 minutes in the room with the provider. They billed for a procedure that was not provided. Cost of the visit was $918. When I called for clarification, the staff swore at me and said they can charge whatever they want because that's "the medical world". Save yourself money and dignity, find another provider.

If you enjoy waiting for an hour or longer to see an ENT, this is your place. After 30 minutes, I let them know several times I was waiting and had to get back to work but it did no good. Why bother making appointment times? Keep in mind the office expects you to show up early to check in so you can add that to the wait time too. Message for doctors at this practice: Our time is just as valuable as your time and we also have jobs. I left without seeing a doctor and will not be rescheduling at this haphazardly run office.

Dr. Van De Graaff diagnosed vocal chord dysfunction due to reflux, which was successfully treated with Omeprazole. He also further diagnosed sub-glottic stenosis. I had surgery to stretch the narrowed trachea. Surgery went well and my voice is back to normal. The office, the surgical team, and Dr. Van De Graaff were all excellent and thorough and kind. I highly recomment Southwest ENT.

It makes me sad to see so many negative reviews about this group. I am a patient here, from both the clinic side and the surgery side. I received amazing, straightforward care. The staff is caring, and patient even when they are dealing with rude patients that don't want to wear masks, or who might have to wait longer than expected. This group sees specialty cases, and from what I witnessed, might be running late because they take all the time they need with each individual patient.
The comment about them dropping their masks for a second. they are fully vaccinated, and behind plexi-glass I know this because we were discussing it with the nurse once we went back. If they drop their masks for a second or even a minute, goodness, I think we can show them a little grace with that one. It is obviously a concern for the office as I not only witnessed them not check an abrasive patient in that refused to wear a mask initially, but going one step further in explaining that they treat cancer patients daily and requested for the gentleman to think of them.
They handled it with patience and care, and that should be commended. I would bet this office sees more patients in a day than there are reviews here on google. I wish more people would post their positive experiences rather than just the complaints. I would recommend this group to anyone.

My husband needed to have a lipoma taken off of his collarbone very close to his neck. We went to three doctors who didn't feel comfortable taking it out until we were referred to Dr. Nielsen. We were told that he was a "hot shot, young, head and neck surgeon". Dr. Nielsen said it would be no problem to take out the offending lipomas on both sides of his neck.
We were told that he would have an incision on each side and a drain on each side. Surgery was to take about an hour. Everything was smooth until post-op. Let me say that the anesthesiologist was awesome! Surgery took 2 hours and was more complex than originally thought. My husband was in pain and was given IV and oral pain med post-op. On being given discharge instructions, we were told he was to take ibuprofen (which we had told them that he could not take due to stomach issues), tylenol and put ice on it.
No pain medication whatsoever. When we complained, the nurse, Jennifer, mentioned Tramadol. I explained to her that Tramadol makes my husband nauseated and dizzy. She looked at me and said, "Oh, really" in a sarcastic tone of voice. I said, "Yes. If you don't know, those are two of the common side effects of Tramadol." She said, "I am well aware of that." How dare she question my integrity!
We complained further and Jennifer went to get Dr. Nielsen. His answer was that since he didn't cut into any muscle he wasn't going to give any pain medication. Okay, two hours of surgery and a lipoma removed that wrapped under the collarbone and he had to cut nerves to get it out, another removed from the other side and two drains placed and NO pain medication post-op?
My husband suffered terribly the first three days. What kind of doctor lets their patients suffer? This man must have gone to medical school just to make money, because he sure doesn't give a damn about his patients. My husband is 68 years old and is NOT a drug addict. He only wanted a few pain pills to get him through the first couple days of post-op pain, but NOTHING. This doctor may be a good surgeon, but he is cruel. Do yourself a favor.go elsewhere.
