Very unprofessional and sarcastic staff. The bed I was offered was a Murphy bed on a thin plywood platform with a mattress tag placing it from 14 - 21 years old. Totally soiled with stains, no mattress protector, and super mushy and flimsy. Staff could not have been more unprofessional. Doors open to all rooms; no privacy. This is NOT the place you or your family should choose for a sleep Study. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I should have seen the warning signs and read the many reviews online.

Doctor there was great, but it's impossible to get ahold of someone to discuss billing. I've called many times and left voice messages. In fact, I never even received follow up instructions on my sleep study or what I should do next. So I'm paying a bill for services that I essentially didn't receive. I would not recommend this place.

This place should be shut down with how terrible they are. Not even taking calls and letting you be at the will of someone taking your voicemail and calling you back in "2-3" days is unacceptable for any medical facility. The entire staff should be ashamed of this establishment and embarrassed to work for something as poorly operated as this.

I would give a '0 too if I could. Should have listened to the other reviews! Do NOT waste your money here. Dr. Grullon was on auto-pilot. Did not truly listen to our concerns. We agreed to a sleep study. Results were not reviewed by the Dr., only a brand new NP. She did not even consult with the Dr. before our follow up appt with her. She did not know or address the concerns we had, only tried to sell us a CPAP, for someone barely on the scale. SO DISAPPOINTED.
Couldn't be more frustrated and disgusted with this type of care. Actually, there WAS no care.completely non-existent. And the original issue is still a concern. Their response.take melatonin. $3000 medical advice.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I needed my Cpap head gear. I called them every other week for 4 months. No one calls back. I get a call back today from Daniel but now my prescription is expired for the head gear. It wasn't when I first tried calling 4 months ago. I now have to go in for a $400 appointment with a PA to get $70 head gear. This is a terrible business. No one calls back.

I have to agree with multiple other reviewers - customer service is SEVERELY LACKING. It is nearly impossible to reach a human on the phone at MSI and nearly just as impossible to receive a call back when leaving a message requesting a call back. I could not get the required CPAP equipment from a medical equipment provider for nearly two months because MSI failed to send the medical records.
It took at least 10 phone calls/emails over the course of those two months from the medical equipment provider and from me to finally get them to send the records. MY RECOMMENDATION: If you have the option to choose another provider for your sleep related medical care, you should definitely go with someone else.

I'm giving one star only because I cannot give 0. I've been on the same sleeping medication for 9 years and think it is subjecting me to the inability to lose weight. I was hoping to find a new medication and was referred by another provider. The woman with whom I met prior to seeing the doctor kept asking the same questions over and over, and repeating back incorrect information.
She clearly did not listen to my answers and turned the narrative into her own. When I finally met with the doctor, I was totally unimpressed and frustrated. I was shocked that they didn't ask any questions about my sleeping habits (alone in bed? with a partner? kids? pets?). Nor did they ask about bedtime, wake time, alcohol use, tv in bed etc. I'm not a sleep expert, but I would think this information would be useful in figuring out the cause of my insomnia. Absolutely the worst medical experience I have ever had. Save yourself the time and money and find elsewhere if you want real answers.

Summary: I understand why other reviewers shared poor experiences and won't come back, but the quality of care I receive is worth tolerating the rude staff and long waits on the 1-2 times a year I need to visit. Details: I have been going here since January 2005. The reception staff, both in person and over the phone, are extremely rude and unhelpful--not just to me, but to those I have seen them interact with.
The office hours for phone calls are terrible -- 9 AM to 5 PM and they also go on break for 60-90 min over lunch. You almost always have to leave a message (and good luck get a timely call back) or wait on hold for 5 minutes or more. (The best bet is to wait on hold if you can do so.) However, the health care providers (Doctors, Nurses, Physician Assistants) are wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable.
I have had my appointment slot double booked with other patients, and I have on many occasions waited more than 45 minutes past my appointment time before getting to see my provider. I would give this place 5 stars for medical care and 1-2 stars for the administrative staff and their treatment of customers/patients. Perhaps they are underpaid, overworked, etc. but it's been an ongoing problem for more than a decade.
