Do not go here if you are in pain. They don't care. At least the receptionist doesn't care and you won't get past her. She won't help you.

Dr Rajan Patel is fantastic. He is very attentive and makes sure you are healing completely.

Summary: waste of copay, went twice but received no solution for issue that was resolved by a second doctor in less than 20 min. I went to Dr. Rajan Patel for two visits with complications from ingrown nail removal procedure done by an urgent care. I was impressed with how easily I could schedule a last minute appointment (maybe this should have been a warning sign).

I saw a few bad reviews, but there's always going to be haters, so I went with it since I was desperate to get some relief from the pain I was in. Dr. Patel seemed to be in a rush to get me in and out during my initial visit and follow-up. He barely touched my toe besides putting a bandaid on it, sold me an antiseptic spray and put in two scripts for an antibiotic.

It had been about two months and I was still experiencing the pain and inflammation, so I sought out a different podiatrist for a second opinion. Within a minute of seeing my toe, the new podiatrist identified that there was still a nail leftover in my toe and did a procedure to resolve something that Dr. Patel couldn't figure out in two visits. I'm so glad I got a second opinion, but am bummed that I wasted money and time trusting that Dr. Patel was doing all that he could to help me. I would not recommend Austin Foot & Ankle Center for your foot and ankle needs.

Dr. Patel and all of the staff were super helpful, warm and more than willing to work with me at my convenience. He did a great job explaining what was going on with my foot/ ankle and welcomed all my questions. I wish more doctors were like Dr. Patel!

Dr. Nilesh Patel performed hammertoe fusion surgery on me and I am so happy with the result. My shoes fit again and no more toe pain. Dr. Patel is a talented surgeon.

I was extremely pleased with Dr Patel's quick treatment of my ingrown toenail. It was very clear to me that Dr Patel was highly skilled, as the procedure was done smoothly and with minimal discomfort. He is very personable, which helps ease the treatment process. I highly recommend Dr Patel for his expertise and experience.

Amazing service! Dr. Patel has great hospitality and is extremely knowledgeable. He has never disappointed me and has been extremely helpful. I would definitely suggest him, you will not regret it!

I really wanted to like this place. the problems started before i even walked in the front door. i got an email to pay my copay of $35 before i arrived but when i arrived to the office they charged me an additional copay (i told them i had already paid, but apparently the online copay payment was just a portion of the copay?). then when i saw dr patel, he said my problem would most likely be treated with a corticosteroid shot -- which is also the option that he said he personally would have gone with. pain was said to subside by the third day. i then paid even more at this point for the steroid shot and the xray, but that's standard. a week and a half later, the pain is still there and has spread. today was my follow up appointment and i was hopeful they could diagnose me further. i was scheduled for 8:15am. i arrived at 8:10am. nobody was available at the front desk so i signed in via the paper check-in pad. i sat down and watched the 2 other women in the waiting room go in for their appointments, and then 8:15 passed. i thought maybe they were running behind so i waited another 15 minutes, which during this time a man came in the office and stated he needed a walk-in. didn't hear much of the conversation except that "dr patel will be with you in a moment", and i HOPED that they meant after my appointment, but after 15 minutes of waiting on my scheduled appointment (which was booked over a week ago) they let a walk-in customer see my doctor instead. all they had to say to me was "we'll get you checked in" because they clearly didn't check the note pad i signed when i arrived. i have a full time job, i cant wait around just because my scheduled appointment time was given to a walk-in. i cancelled my appointment and i will not be back. total waste of time!

I had to go here to get an ingrown toenail removed. I told the reception staff, the nurses, and Dr. Patel that I have a somewhat severe needle phobia and so I was very nervous about the numbing. All of the staff were EXTREMELY helpful and made every effort to help me be comfortable during the procedure. After the injections Dr. Patel checked with me to make sure I was ok before continuing with the procedure and never made me feel bad for my fear.

Keep in mind this is all while other patients are being seen. The amount of help that was given to help me feel comfortable made the entire process so much easier. I HIGHLY recommend this center and Dr. Patel for how kind they are to their patients.

Dr. Patel and his staff have been amazing. He has seen me for a few different issues, and has always steered me in the right direction. Someone always answers the phone at the front desk, appointments are easy to make, and Dr. Patel couldn't have a better bedside manner. If all of my doctors had a practice like this one, life would be a breeze! I would highly reccomend this practice to anyone, and in fact, when my mom had to have surgery, she too chose Dr. Patel. Great team!
