Dr. Nielsen and his team are the best. I filled everything out online the evening before and check-in was so quick. I waited maybe 1-2min before getting in with the nurse to have my X-rays done. Then Dr. Nielsen came in shortly after. We talked a good bit then he gave me a few scenarios of how I could fix my thumb pain. He gave me a steroid injection and said to come back in a month if it's not better. I'm already feeling a little better and hope the pain dissipates a bit more. I appreciate all their help so far. Great practice!

Oh My Gosh! This was such a productive visit. The staff was so gentle and comforting. You could feel their love and compassion. Natalie Smith is brilliant, she offered excellent advice, care and treatment choices, including both mainstream and holistic.

The entire office is full of friendly staff who gives the attention required to help you. I have had great experiences and was not rushed during my visits. They listen very well and make recommendations tailored to help you get better. It is clear they care about your wellness and want you to recover and get back to a healthy life.

I had a very successful and pleasant experience with Dr Neilsen, Natalie Smith and the staff at Charlottesville Orthopedics. My right knee meniscus had caused me pain for years, and after a diagnostic MRI that revealed a major tear and displaced flap in my meniscus, it was determined that the knee surgery would be the best course of action to approach fixing my knee pain.

From start to finish everyone was very professional, honest, and respectful. Dr Neilsen was very honest about all the possible outcomes and realistic about the expectations related to surgery. I had my surgery less than 3 weeks ago and I'm feeling much better than before my surgery. I've been extremely satisfied with the results and can highly recommend Charlottesville Orthopedic Center.

From the front desk to the x-ray technician to the PA Natalie Smith, all around wonderful experience! It was so wonderful to be able to get an appointment quickly and have everything from X-rays to the injection handled under one roof. I never felt rushed during any portion of the exam and my concerns and pain where heard and all questions answered. I would definitely recommend them and, as age has brought more aches and pains, will be using them again in the future.

First time patient. Was very happy with the staff. A very professional doctors office. Treated me with care, was understanding and very thorough with the explanation of the process. Happy I chose to go to them. If need orthopedic service in future will chose them again.

All staff members are very pleasant and professional. I only had to wait one day for an appointment. The PA, Natalie was very thorough on an examination and explained everything in detail. She provided the option of a Cortisone shot for tendinitis of my left wrist, but I chose the conservative treatment for now. I highly recommend this practice.

My experience with everyone at Charlottesville Orthopaedic Center has been excellent. They have strived to diagnose a tricky condition with my leg and we have made significant progress. They even managed to fit me in for an appointment the next day after my leg pain spiked unexpectedly. I would recommend the team here to anyone looking for orthopedic support.

PA-C Natalie Smith was excellent in examining and assessing my fractured wrist. I had broken the same wrist a few years before so I had a lot of pointed questions and she was very thorough in explaining them all and getting the best way forward. Very talented staff- hopefully I won't have to come back again!

Natalie Smith was awesome. She explained what she saw in the x-ray and had an amazing "bedside" manner. Her examination was thorough and extensive. Great PA with an unbelievable personality. She has to be a great asset for the practice. The front desk lady had a great personality and was very professional and helpful. They made this an enjoyable visit.
