Dr. McKnight is AMAZING! I have suffered from allergies all my life, but I thought taking my Zyrtec was enough until COVID19 hit! I got bilateral pneumonia and chest tightness with reactive airway for months after. I had to see a pulmonologist for the first time, and he did some testing. He believed my allergies were not under control and they caused me to have COVID19 complications.
As soon as I started feeling better, I made an appointment with Dr. McKnight. I wish I would've done it sooner! He is so thorough and smart. He had allergies as a child and had to get allergy shots (allergy immunotherapy) for years. Therefore, he's very understanding. He puts everything he suggests in writing for you to take home. It's been a long time since I've met a healthcare provider who provides such quality service.
I teach at a local nursing school, so I like asking questions. I want to understand why a treatment is beneficial and all options. Dr. McKnight always answered my questions, provided all options, and allowed me to make an educated and informed decision. He also gave me the most detailed explanation of how I should begin to exercise again because after COVID19, I kept getting a tight chest with exercise.
I monitor my heart rate now, thanks to Dr. McKnight. I loved Dr. McKnight's office so much, I brought two of my kids who suffer from allergies to see him, too. Below are two pictures of my kids getting allergy testing. (Yes, my son has a ton of allergies.) They didn't complain at all. We can't wait to get started on our allergy shots (allergy immunotherapy), so our family can get our allergies under control.
The staff at the Henderson location are really nice. Dr. McKnight is the best physician for allergies, asthma, and immunology. Warning: he's so good, it may take you 3 months to get an appointment to see him, but he's worth it!

If you have a Primary Immunodeficiency and are looking for a new Immunologist then this review may be helpful. I have a PI that requires weekly immunoglobulin therapy and I was in need of a new Immunologist. I had my first telehealth appointment yesterday with Dr. Miyake. I was so impressed! He answered every single question without ever making me feel rushed.
He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. In addition, my interaction with the other staff members was stress free and pleasant. When I called to make my appointment, I spoke with a lovely woman named Lacey. She was patient, friendly and so helpful with getting me through the process. I had never taken part in a telehealth appointment so I was a bit unsure about the process.
But shortly before the scheduled appointment time, I received a call from Dr. Miyake's medical assistant Zachary. He was terrific! He asked all the basic medical questions and made sure I was ready from a technical standpoint to start the appointment. From start to finish, my experience with Allergy Partners of Nevada was wonderful. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff, always on time for appointments, and the system they have for allergy shots is incredibly convenient! Several years later, I have to update to say that it has become near impossible to get in touch and make an appointment for shots - due to Covid, you have to schedule a time. Totally understandable. However, every time I call, I have to leave a message and I have not had any of my 7 messages returned. I haven't received shots in months because it is such a hassle to get in touch with the immunotherapy office.

If you have Medicaid, I want to save you a trip. They won't accept you as a patient. Don't even bother. Of course this info isn't anywhere on the website or even mentioned by any of the staff I spoke to before the visit. This is my sons secondary insurance and we have never had a doctor not accept us before. If they weren't contracted they would just bill us whatever the primary didn't cover.
Not these people. I don't blame the office staff.they were nice enough. My son has a strict feeding schedule that takes a lot of time to tweak for doctors appointments. We had to wait for almost two months for this appointment only to be turned away at the door. A note on the website.maybe even the forms would be nice. Also advising referring doctors so they can make a note not refer their Medicaid patients could have helped in our situation.

I tried to make an appointment for my two daughters and the guy who answered the phone said I can't do a back to back appointment because it is against their policy. I have to go there for the first appointment at 10:30 and come back at 2:30 for the second one. I told him that is impossible because I live far from the office and he suggested me to wait 4 hours there with my two kids.
That is ridiculous! When I ask to speak to a supervisor or someone else, he hang up on me. Also, I called today and first time patient appointment availability is only for May. I don't know anything about the doctors but their front desk employee sucks! Update: I called the office again and talked to Rachel who was able to explain me the reasons why they can not do a back to back appointment which for me still not good reasons but I guess I have to accept that.

Both doctors at Allergy Partners really care about your health and not the almighty dollar. If I have to wait I know it's because they both will spend as much time with you as they see fit and are spending more time than they thought with a patient, so while waiting I know I won't be rushed when I am talking to the doctor too. I have never been disappointed at Allergy Partners and I recommend them to all my friends and family. Two of the 'good guys' in town!

STAY AWAY! Front desk are the worst people! I came in and first thing front desk tells that I have 15 minutes to fill paperwork. Rude person. But oh well I came in 15 minutes early. They gave me a lot of papers with questions- do I have a carpet? what bed I sleep on? what kind of heater and AC? etc It took me forever to read through it. Older lady came to me once to check how far I am.
Again very rude. And minute later the other girl SENDS ME HOME. I was doing paper for 45 minutes for nothing. This is my third language and it might take me a little longer than anyone else. But this place don't care! What language you speak! I was judge the way I speak, dressed(comfy clothes) and made it obvious! I was at urgent care the same day. Took me 5 minutes to get in with a lot of papers.
But this place is ridiculous. They should send those papers to fill out at home! Sometimes front desk will let you fill up paperwork while waiting for doctor but it's first time that someone handles it this way and sends me home! They just said your times up you can't get in! When I asked them why they didn't send these papers to me so I could do this at home. She said they ask everyone to come in 30 minutes early. LIES! No one told me. I came in 15 minutes early and spend 45 minutes of my life for nothing!

We didn't even see the doctor. Front desk staff was very rude and condescending. We were not told to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork. However, we did arrive at the front desk 8 minutes early, and were not even acknowledged by the man at the desk. I guess we were not the right clientele for this office. Instead he ignored us, until I asked if it was the right office, then he dismissively told us to wait.
We sat and waited, then went back up to the front desk, where we spoke to someone else who gave us a bunch of paperwork to fill. After 20 minutes, she said, "well the doctor can't see you, as the paperwork is not complete". Needless to say we left. I'm sure the doctors are quite nice, but the front staff needs more training when it comes to diversity, (maybe) and bedside manners. We will certainly never go back there!

He was late, over 40 min I had to wait room. First visit spent maybe 10 min at the most. I was charged for this visit instead of it being hadled with my insurance. I have never paid more than my copay of 12.00 but they charged me over 100 w/ referral. Doctor may be good, but he needs a refresher. He said I was using nasal spray too deep. I have never used nasal spray.
I told him I had a prescription but never used it. He said my nasal passages were swollen due to incorrect usage of nose spray, AGAIN I have never used nose spray. Waste of time, also I have to wait 3 months for an allergy appt. if they were doing their job I could have had it preapproved via my insurance that day and been feeling better. Not going back. Just another doctor getting insurance money.
