A breast biopsy is used to take a sample of breast tissue to be tested for cancer. A breast biopsy is the only way to verify if breast tissue us benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Association of Alexandria Radiologists provides traditional ultrasound-guided and stereotactic-guided biopsies as well as newest 3D tomographic-guided biopsy.

I don't know who I spoke to, but it was at least two if not three people in this office. They have an Idea call center that never picks up the phone. So I selected another ext to reach someone to make an appointment. One lady kept me waiting for 10 min then just dumped me into the call center line for another ten minute hold. I called again told a new person the issue and that I just wanted to make an appointment.
They made me one for the Monday next. I asked them for confirmation they said I didn't need it. I called back later that day to ask a question about my future scan. I think I got the same scattered person but I cannot be sure. They answered my question but didn't ask me to confirm my appointment. I show up for my appointment really early in the morning and they have no record of me.
My doctor's office sent the orders over TWICE last week during office hours. Someone last week put me down for an appointment in three weeks. If you get sent here by your doctor, tell them you want to go anywhere else. This place doesn't make you feel safe or welcome. And I haven't even seen a tech yet. This was supposed to be quick but basically had to insist they correct their mistake. Such a great way to instil trust.

Probably the worst healthcare experience I've had to date, and I have been through a lot. As i was waiting i watched the front desk staff interact with an older gentleman, the desk worker was curt, unhelpful and borderline rude. Plus she didn't even greet him or even look up from her computer. I had an ultrasound and the technician who performed my test (who knows her name because she didn't introduce herself) was almost hostile in her interactions.
She was abrupt with me, appeared irritated when i asked to change my position and lowkey threatened me with a longer and more painful exam if i didn't position myself exactly as she instructed. For an exam that is pretty invasive and can be traumatic for anyone who has endured assault, she did absolutely nothing to make the experience less traumatic.
Her actions in fact made it worse, she was rough and NOT gentle whatsoever. When she was done she literally jumped off the chair, handed me some wipes and just about ran out the door. I will be filing a formal complaint with the office manager, but just in case they do nothing take this as a warning if you need this exam done. Go somewhere else. No one deserves to be treated this roughly and with an abject lack of compassion and care.

I don't usually post, but with all these negative ones I can just say I've been there twice this year for X-Rays which is a straight walk in service. My waits were 10 and 20 min total. Received email for the balance bill, had no issues at all. Needed CD for doc and first time they had it for me next day (because I forgot to ask in advance), second time I walked out with image disc in hand. Tech was very friendly.

I went into this radiology center having read the reviews posted even as recent as two weeks ago from the time that I'm writing this review and was genuinely surprised how it seemed to have gone the complete opposite direction of their experiences. I spent probably 20 minutes in the waiting room because it was relatively busy and I was a new patient, but once I got my x-rays taken, it took very little time.
I left my apartment about 8:05am, arrived at 8:20am, and was out about 8:55am. Very straightforward and to the point from the receptionists and the radiologists on staff. Maybe things could be handled a little less hectically (emphasis on "little"), but hey, everyone in the building works with health in some way during a global pandemic and they're handling it incredibly responsibly and to the point where it was barely a concern to think about.
I am not opposed for any reason to not come back here. The only reason I wouldn't highly recommend it is because I'm not sure how much of a frequent flyer I'd be there to give a fully fairly balanced reviewer. Here's hoping I stay healthy!

I have never used the Radiologist services and the next thing I am getting collection calls and a stiff bill for over $600. After trying to make sense, I was able to get thru to the billing team which after 43 minutes on hold they told me that it was mistake. I asked for her name or extension and she refused to provide any information. I called them back and asked who is going to stop the harassment calls from the debt collector for a debt that never excited? She told me that is on the works to be fixed. I never heard of anything like this, be aware patients this is for sure Fraud!

If I can give them a negative review I would. This place is a rip off and the worst with billing. I called and asking a question and the lady started yelling. I now have to contact my lawyer to get my money from them since they never sent certain claims to my insurance and I ended up paying full. And the lady at the billing department is telling me she can't tell or do anything because she is only doing billing not associated with radiology. What a joke and irresponsible. Worst ever!

I was never sent a bill for a service. I then I had been in the office several other times after and asked if I owed anything. They said no. I just got a call from collections for the service I never received a bill for. That's not right. Collections people treat you like a criminal. I've paid all the other bills and no one there said anything to me about the missed payment
