Welcome to Foot and Ankle of West Georgia, a podiatry practice serving Columbus, Georgia, and the surrounding communities. Podiatrists may prescribe orthotic devices and medication and may perform inpatient or outpatient surgical procedures to treat foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions. My recent experience with Dr. Schreck was fantastic! I was originally a patient of Dr. Shah, who performed my bunion surgery in 2018. It took me years to work up the courage to finally have my surgery so I was absolutely devastated when Dr. Shah left. Needless to say, I was done with surgery despite still needing more. It just so happened that a new issue presented that forced me to make an appt.
I'm so thankful that I did because I had a great experience with Dr. Schreck. He has an excellent bedside manner and every single person on his staff was terrific during my visit. Dr. Schreck explained with patience and compassion the course of treatment needed and why. I explained how long it had taken me to work up my trust and courage to have surgery back in 2018, and now I'm starting this process over with a new physician so Dr. Schreck was very understanding.
He and his staff made me feel entirely at ease with the entire process. He answered every question / addressed all my concerns. I couldn't ask for a better 1st experience/impression and would highly recommend him and his staff. Dorothy A.

From the moment I drove into the Parking Area and found easy access to Foot and Ankle of West Georgia. I was politly greeted as I entered and checked in at the front desk. A very proffesisonal atmosphere met with My encouraging trust with a New Specialist to care for My Toe and Foot. I was and continue to be so very impressed with the Architecture of this obviously State of the Art Clinic / Surgery Center / Diagnostic Facility.
The waiting area is inviting and inclusively Relaxes You to be easily calmed for your examination and moving forward to the necessary care that I found is an absolute Healing and True Physician Patient experience with medicine meeting healing process. I can't express enough how wonderful the atmosphere into the Medical experience in totality. The Staff and the Specialist are upper par excellence in comparison to variant other clinics I have visited in past medical maladies. I am a very content and impressed Patient. Thank You Doctor Schreck and Staff for a true Healing Experience in Professionalism!

I have posted before and I'm happy to write another review. This is a wonderful place hands down! Everyone is so friendly and nice that I wish all doctors offices could be this way. I can say that Dr. Hyneman is one hell of a caring doctor who will explain everything to you and not rush or get frustrated. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants happy feet with a more than comforting atmosphere.

Once I got sent here after my car crash, Dr Hyneman and his staff made sure there were no more delays in my treatment of my ankle. I got a cast and follow ups and eventually a surgery that worked like magic to restore function to my ankle. It took time to gain full mobility and lose the pain, of course, but I was able to rotate my foot again for the first time in five months and I am so grateful to him! Loved Dr Hyneman!
