Dr. Dawes is a native of Wabash, Indiana. He is a graduate of Indiana University and Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine residency with board certification at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana and a Dermatology residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine and received board certification from the American Board of Dermatology in 1995.
Acne surgery is the process of exfoliating with either a light chemical or an enzyme to remove the top dead layers of skin. After this process is completed, the esthetician will perform extractions; removing closed and open comedones (blackheads) that appear under the skin and open on the surface. If needed, draining of other inflamed pustules and cysts are completed as well.
Here at Dawes Fretzin Dermatology, in addition to our excellent patient care, we provide an efficient dispensing service for your dermatological medications. Our one stop shop can save you time and help avoid those long pharmacy lines and crowded stores, by completing your prescription before you leave the practice.

You might need to wait in waiting room for 30 minutes or so past your scheduled appointment, but Dr. Dawes is obviously worth the wait. Go in knowing this and realize there is a reason he is backed up - he takes time with his patients and has many people waiting to see him. Been going to Dawes for over twenty years. If you want the best go to Dr. Dawes, if you want the speediest, no wait, open appointment times go somewhere else.

I am always treated with respect. In my opinion the people working at Dawes Fretzin are some of the best people I have ever met. Dr. Fretzin worked diligently until he found the right treatment for my psoriasis. I would recommend to anyone who needs a dermatologist to let this staff of doctors help them. Everyone from reception to the doctors are exceptional. Dr. Fretzin is my doctor and to me he is an awesome doctor.
I feel very fortunate he was the doctor who continued to treat me. I started out with the research department and I was never treated any differently than the regular patients. After the trial period ended I became a regular patient at this office. I can not ever say enough about the way the staff went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed to fight my condition.

I am impressed with all the staff I've come in contact with at the practice and found them very helpful. The staff are also patient with my questions. I also appreciate my questions being answered thoroughly and in a way I understand. The staff were kind and really seemed happy to be there to help others.

MA never introduced herself. Staff not wearing any identification.how would I learn your name if you don't introduce yourself? The MA was not the most pleasant in conversation. Never offered a sheet or anything to cover with in the office as I am freezing after changing into a gown! Dr. Hyatt is pleasant in conversation.
