Dr. Listhaus is an excellent, caring doctor who offers the best of care. If it were not for him I would surely leave this practice. I had an acute eye condition that needed to be addressed right away. I called the office at about 8am Monday morning and talked to someone in the call center who told me someone would get back to me. When I heard nothing, I called back about 10:30 and talked to someone in the call center.

Still I heard nothing so called at 1:45 or so. I requested to speak to someone in the office. Several times when being transferred to the front desk it would ring then I would get a fax type sound and the call would end. Finally I spoke to Angel at the front desk and while we were speaking I got a call from Dr. Kushnick's office who apologized for not getting back to me but asked if I could come right away.

Of course I said yes. I then switched back over to Angel who then told me that Dr. Kushnick had expected me at 2pm and was no longer in the office. No one called to tell me I had a 2pm appt. Angel told me to come at 7:30 in the morning but I was in so much pain I needed to be seen that day. I strongly encouraged him to go talk to Dr. Listhaus about my situation. Dr. Listhaus told me to come right over and I was then well cared for.

Dr. Marnie O'Brien and her team are among the highest healthcare professionals I have ever met. Their examination was thorough and very different from a previous independent practice I had gone to in Bethlehem. She ruled out my need for a previously recommended surgery as unnecessary. I am extremely grateful to her for her outstanding clinical and professional demeanor.

Dr. Kushnick and his staff are amazing! They are friendly and helpful. I have been going to Dr. Kushnick for over 20 years. He is a caring physician and has seen me and my family on call without any issue. He has always been there for me.

You can tell this is a fine practice when you first walk into the office area. Clean, pleasant surroundings, with a courteous and professional front desk. Dr Baloh is thorough, courteous, and takes his time with you. A good experience all around.

My wait time was realistic and acceptable. The techs met with me ahead of time to complete the dilation for my exam so that I was ready for Dr OBrien when she came in to exam my eyes. It made better use of everyones time and provided plenty of time to ask the doctor any questions I had.

Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with this facility. The receptionist, assistants and staff were all professional and polite, with one exception. The surgical coordinator, Denise, has the personality of a porcupine. She is abrupt, curt and rude. She demonstrates NO compassion. With dilated pupils, she expected me to read forms. When I stated I could not in my present state, she became annoyed and more abrasive. Fortunately, another staff member, Crystal, has been most helpful, gracious and professional. Crystal has addressed my questions and assisted in rescheduling surgery dates. Had it not been for her, I would have scheduled my surgery with another firm. One last item, entrance to the parking area is confusing and parking costs $5.00. If you can, park, in the fairgrounds and walk to the office.

The staff was efficient but solemn except for person doing the visual field. She was friendly and explained the procedure well. The 9 rating is due to the telephone system. I needed to call after leaving due to my phone being left there. Terrible time! I was disconnected 3 times during transfers of extensions. Eventually got my phone back. Them a call was left on my home phone to call for follow-up appointment (which was already made) but when I tried calling back, I was again disconnected times 2. Very frustrating system.

My husband had an accident a while back which left him with very little vision in his left eye. It was recommended that he get a contact lens to improve his vision. So we ended up going here and we're so glad we did because Dr. Kristine is really amazing. She is really attentive and took really good care of my husband. My husband is very happy that he see so much better with his injured eye.

Everyone there is so accommodating and friendly. Also so helpful with picking my dates for cataract surgeries and follow up appointments. I would recommend the Lehigh Valley Eye Center and Dr Marnie Obrien to anyone.

Dr. Listhaus and his staff were amazing and the doctor was very candid and informative. I'm happy I switched my retinal care to Dr. Listhaus. I feel very comfortable with his level of care. I also enjoy his family photos hanging throughout the office while I wait (for a short period) in the waiting room.
