At all of our Arthritis Centers, our physicians are specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, connective tissue diseases, arthritis, and osteoporosis serving Sarasota and Manatee counties for over 40 years. All of our physicians have completed fellowships and residencies in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. Also, all of our physicians are board certified in Rheumatology. Furthermore, we have all completed residencies and fellowships in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Weitzner attended the Chicago Medical School, where he received his M.D. degree.

This was my second time seeing Dr Drucker. He barely glanced at me, started asking the same questions as before. Never looked up from his typing. I commented and his answer was "That's what the government wants". Over the years, I have seen many doctors most of whom have someone type in notes for them. He was not attentive and had not read read or reviewed any of my notes from the last visit which I had to wait four months for.
I feel frustrated and annoyed with him. No bedside manner at all! Also, I will be having hand surgery soon. He mentioned that maybe I will lose my appetite after surgery. I am 5'4" and I weigh 140 pounds. That's not that bad he's a jerk!

I just started with Sarasota Arthritis about three months ago. While Dr Shu was very informative and intelligent and her nurse Jodi always kind the office staff is not as competent. They have not been able to take care of my office needs at all. Example billing and my blood work results. The communication is definitely off between everyone on that level.
The last straw was when trying to correct incorrect billing I spoke with Danielle (The THIRD Person) to get my Bill straightened out and she was so rude and spoke over me I hung up. In all honestly I lost my temper as well after her rudeness. I would think twice about going there. I will not be back!

I have been going to SAC now for eight (8) long years and if not for the OUTSTANDING care received from Dr. Robert Ikeman I would not be able too move or work, drive my car or earn a living. When I first went there I was in real bad condition. Severe Pain, needed too use a pair of Plyers to open a simple bottle of water, now I m able to drive & work and have a relationship with my other half. If I could afford Dr. Ikeman s Concierge service I would sign up. He is also very kind, caring and very thorough.

This was my 1st time and last appointment I had with this location. The receptionist and employees were not welcoming at all and rude. I had a early appointment and didn't know they were open before 8 o'clock which my appointment was for. So, I was considered late. I had to associates complain about me being late, I just walked out. In the times we are living in, you don't know what or why the attitude is for. " Myself being a black woman " at an ALL white medical business. I didn't get a good vibe from either one of them

I had been a patient of Dr. Yonker at Sarasota Arthritis Center for over 10 years. I moved to away for a few years and when I returned I started to see Dr. Yonker again. He had suggested I become part of his Concierge program for $1,800 a year then he could see me as my PCP and my Rheumatologist. I joined the program at the great cost not knowing that he was charging me specialist prices to be my PCP.
I paid $1,800 for the Concierge Program, ran the visit through my insurance, and still was had to pay $280 for a PCP visit! I felt this wasn't right so I withdrew from the Concierge Program only to be released from their practice even though I did nothing wrong. They are the largest group in this city so now I'm blacklisted from seeing any of their doctors!
I guess they don't like when you don't want to be taken advantage of. Sad way to practice medicine when you're main concern is getting prestige pricing! Very disappointed with the practice and particularly Dr. Yonker.

I am reporting this practice to AMA as they are the worst practice that I have dealt with in treating my RA since 2013. I have had other practices throughout the US and these people are uncaring, unsupportive and show no interest in managing your condition and have caused me hardship with not properly filling out the necessary health insurance papers.
The Dr didn't take the time to fill out the paperwork and left it to an unqualified person. They have no idea how to run a medical office and can care less about you as the patient. Dr Lyn Shue has no patient skills! In addition, trying to move to another office and they will not send my medical records and said they would contact me when they had and have not heard from the.
