Super weird experience. I went to them for a Cross-Linking procedure. The initial setup for testing for Keratoconus was super easy, they were great to work with. After the diagnosis was confirmed, and I went to setup an appointment for the actual appointment things just went to hell. I called and ask for them to start the paper work. They did NOTHING for 40 days until I called and asked why nothing was done.
I'd call and ask for procedure code, so I could get an estimate of costs from my insurance company. They'd refuse to call me back. For about 2 weeks I'd call every morning, be told I'd get a call back before I closed. I NEVER DID. It was an absolute nightmare. I can't trust them to return a phone call about simple procedure information, I can't trust them to do surgery on my eyes.

My experience with furlong vision correction for LASIK was excellent. I don't usually write reviews but wanted to for this experience since I relied heavily on reviews when making my decision. From the beginning, they were up front with everything I should know, and were extremely knowledgeable. It also helped that they take care of the San Jose earthquakes!
They had excellent covid-based operations as well, which made me feel safe. The day of surgery, it was very smooth and fast. They walked me through everything as I was doing it and I was surprised at how quick the procedure felt. Came back for my post-op appointment and so far seeing 20/15! Thanks a bunch folks!

Dr. Furlong and his staff are amazing! I received advanced lasik surgery a few days ago and was initially hesitant as I have smaller, sensitive eyes. Being a glasses wearer since I was 10 years old and taking years to learn to put in contacts this was a dream come true to me. The process was simple; I just had to be out of my contacts for 7 days before my pre-op appointment and the surgery.
The surgery itself took less than 10 minutes and I was in the office less than an hour. Everyone along the way was very clear, concise, and professional. My hesitations weren't an issue at all and I could immediately see more clearly. By the end of the night I had 20/20 vision! I want to say thank you to Dr. Furlong for such a great experience and I feel fortunate to have an opportunity to see the world differently from one of the best vision correction Drs. in the country!

I'd been dependent on glasses since kindergarten. Finally, over the last few years, I was considering LASIK. Once I discovered the world-class expertise of Dr. Furlong and Furlong Vision Correction, I knew it was time to finally do it. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. They made the process so easy to understand and follow with clear education every step of the way.
My wife was able to watch my 11-minute procedure from a viewing room. A nurse walked her through every step, while Dr. Furlong was doing the same for me in the operating room. I was amazed at my ability to see just after the procedure, with a very rapid recovery. Thank you, Dr. Furlong and team!

As an optometrist myself, I know there are a plethora of options to choose from in regards to refractive surgery providers. I wanted to go to a facility I trusted and Furlong fit the bill in so many ways. The entire staff are efficient, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. On the rare occasion I had to wait, it was for a very short period, and I never felt rushed out. My vision now seems sharper than ever and my eyes feel so comfortable. I had been looking into LASIK for a couple years and the same name kept coming up - Michael Furlong. So I made an appointment and changed my life! I had LASIK on Friday October 25th and woke up Saturday morning to the sight of leaves on the trees outside my window. I cannot remember a time in my life, even as child, that I could wake up and see anything but a mess of colors. The recovery has been painless (just a lot of eye drops) and I am so happy with the results. Dr. Furlong did a great job and his whole staff was wonderful. Thank you ALL!

I am an optometrist and have been co-managing cataract and Lasik patients with Dr. Furlong for close to 20 years. He does excellent work and is very caring with his patients. If you are in need of either cataract or Lasik surgery, I would not hesitate to call Dr. Furlong and associates to get an evaluation. When the day comes where I need cataract surgery, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Well I did it I had my surgery and they said all went well. Today I am getting my post opp check up. This will be my 4th appointment here. All the ladies here are super nice and make you feel comfortable and at ease. They even put me in touch with creditcare.com, making the whole process vertually painless. I can't thank these guys enough for the amazing results. 16 years people.16 years of wearing glasses and contact lenses only to have my vision barely corrected to 20/30.no more! Thanks to Dr. Furlong I am now seeing 20/15! I had lasiks done because I could not advance in my career with my poor vision. I went with Dr. Furlong because of the helpful yelp reviews and because he is the first to offer the blade-less all laser lasiks. Dr. Furlong and his staff were very polite, helpful and answered every question I had.
Make sure and check with your health and vision plan to see if they have a referral program. Dr. Furlong and their staff will try and do their best to match prices/discounts like they did for me. Once you are approved for the procedure, you have to make sure and get the drops for your eyes. One antibiotic and one steroid to keep from infection and keep inflammation down.
The artificial tear drops will help keep you eyes moist. It might look like a scary procedure but you must put your trust into Dr. Furlong and his staff. They did a good job keeping me calm and comfortable throughout the procedure. He put enough numbing drops so I barely felt a dull pressure during the process. It only took 15 minutes for the actual surgery, yes 15 minutes.
You will need to rest after the procedure so make sure you have an entire day free. And make sure you have a designated driver. As your eyes heal, your vision will get better. The results? It was instant 20/20 the next day! I did have some sensitivity to lights at first but that has gone away now. 2 weeks after the procedure, I was seeing 20/15! No more contact lenses that dry out.no more glasses to worry about.
I can wear sunglasses with ease. The lasiks feel so natural that I forget to tell people I run into. They would ask me "Hey what's up, what's new?"
