I actually checked in yesterday. What an awesome experience! Dr. Mildenstein worked with me intently to figure out a way to relieve my chronic pain. He listened and treated me as if I was the only patient he had to see that day. He wasn't dismissive like others I've seen in the past. I recommend it to anyone looking for these services!

Dr. Shane Maxwell is a kind & caring Dr. Who is highly educated & truly understands the human body! I've been his patient for over 2 yrs now but prior to him, I had been bounced back & forth to SEVERAL different Dr.'s & specialist & not ONE of them seemed to care about my personal situation. I always left my other Dr. Office's crying and confused.
My depression was dangerously high during that time. I truly thank God for Dr. Maxwell. After leaving from my very 1st consult with Dr. Shane Maxwell, all the emotions of the past 2 years seem to flow like a river. I bawled uncontrollably. I felt like someone was finally listening to me. I can't explain how good that felt. On the way home all I could do was to continously praised God.
All the emotions of Dr. referrals, MRI's, CT scans, several physical therapy trips, just to be sent to another Dr. who would ask me to take another MRI and send me to more P/T Well it wore me down to my breaking point! I suffer with several different area's on my body with chronic pains. I NEEDED HELP! (Pedestrian vs vehicle accident) Dr. Maxwell know's that a majority of my injuries can only be "eased" yet he continues to try several different things to help me.
I appreciate that more than he could ever know! I feel so comfortable in his care and I trust him. Not only is he a great Dr. Also his assistant Tina is just as amazing! I always feel like they both care about my health as well as my well being. I'm grateful for that! I have several different Dr's that I see but none hold a candle to Dr. M! Thats why I was quite surprised to see that someone had left him a bad review.
My best advice is to BE HONEST & to be open to try new things that could potentially help you. My heart goes out to all who suffer with Chronic pain. If you suffer, I highly suggest that you find a pain specialist who is a good match for YOU. Find yourself someone who listens to your concerns & one who cares about your health! Don't give up. There is help out there. God bless.

I am a current patient with iPMR. It takes weeks! Months! To get them to respond to phone messages. I took about 8 years worth of previous pain management records to the provider at iPMR. It wasn't until I was physically in the office that the clerk gave them to my treating Dr to review and that was after they had them for about 3 months. I had an MRI.
The clinic was to call me for a follow up and go over the results. It took -120 days for the follow up and only because went to the clinic to schedule the appointment in person. They "worked" with my insurance to send me to three ortho specialist they highly recommend The referral was completed however no provider notes, MRI results - zip- was forwarded so the referred ortho docs wanted me to run all that down plus work with insurance to clarify the purpose of the referrals.
Bottom line. If you have an alternate choice other than iPMR use them. I would drive to Salt Lake if it meant getting treated in a timely manner. Oh yeah this past 2 weeks I have called them three times and left messages. ZIP! I am sure they are fine individuals so this is not an issue with them as people. The two times I was able to see my Dr in the past six months with no treatment being given was pleasant but no treatment was given. The pain management team I had in Texas NEVER would have stayed in business if they operated this way!

Went here to get an EMG test on my arm from Dr. Harris and was amazed by how professional and calm he was! I was super nervous and he talked to me to keep my mind off of the test. Would 10 out of 10 recommend Dr. Harris and this facility! Everyone was very nice and treated me great! Can't recommend them enough!

I don't even want to give one star had to to write review. Dr Harris pretty much shoved me out the door ignoring my issues and lying about having my documents. My first appointment went well I was given medicine and was given referrals to a back brace specialist I have scoliosis in 3 places at least 10 degrees off. My hips had suffered for the last few years after having been a mover firefighter and Alaskan fisherman.
I have been going to Chiropractic physical therapy and I followed up with the back brace it was the back brace Doctor Who told me that the X-ray showed the three places with scoliosis and he had told me about the degrees if they were off dr. Harris hadn't. On my second appointment we were there to review an MRI of my hips he said he was surprised to find nothing wrong on the MRI I was also surprised but he said he would no longer see me even after having the scoliosis now I have to spend more time trying to find a new doctor I was not happy at all and felt very disregarded. I had even asked him about the x-rays and why he wouldn't see me he said he had no record of the x-rays and gave me no explanation as to why he wouldn't see me anymore.

I have never felt so unimportant. I'm 23 and I've been having migraines for 12 years now. I went through treatment after treatment after treatment until I was referred to Dr. Mark Harris. Within 10 minutes of meeting me he had a diagnosis (first one ever) and I thought I was FINALLY on my way to a pain free life. Yeah right. I saw him a total of I don't know. 5 times. Tried medications, physical therapy and an occipital nerve block injection.
After none of those were successful I kind of lost hope and went a couple months without seeing him. I recently found out my insurance will be up this month so I made an appointment with him to touch base one more time until I got new insurance. I sat there, crying and embarrassed telling him I got suspended from my job today because of abscenses due to my migraines.
I also explained that I won't have insurance any longer. I mentioned pain meds seeing that I've never been given anything to ease my pain in all of these years of misery. This man referred me to a neurologist (something I tried before I met Dr. Harris) and told me to continue care with them and my primary doc. Acted like he didn't even hear me when I asked for pain management. Walked me out, while I was crying, shook my hand and told me "good luck." Also, his MA is horrrrrrible. Don't expect any calls back or for her to make the calls she's supposed to make according to your care plan.
