Our patients tell us that we are different from other medical groups they have visited. We offer patients our full and undivided attention with extended appointments and unrushed care. We take the time to listen to and understand a patient's medical history so we can pinpoint the issues they are experiencing and understand the symptoms, the onset of the condition and nature of the pain, illness, or concern, to determine therapies that will work best.We work as a highly coordinated, tightly integrated healthcare team.
Celiac disease (CD) is an autoimmune disorder, not a food allergy, affecting 1 out of 133 people. It is characterized by the damage and atrophy of the villi of the intestinal cell lining. The villi are finger-like extensions that extend from the wall of the small intestine into the lumen. The primary role of these villi is to absorb nutrients from the foods we consume.
Diagnosing and treating Lyme disease can be complicated. However, most patients who are diagnosed early and receive proper treatment usually recover rapidly and completely. Lyme disease is a bacterial tick-borne illness that can cause skin, heart, joint and nervous system problems. In the early phases of Lyme disease, you may experience fatigue, chills, fever, headache, muscle and joint aches and swollen lymph nodes. A bulls-eye rash often, but not always, appears shortly after infection at the site of the tick bite.
Heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium, iron, and aluminum occur naturally in the environment, and very limited exposure typically does not cause disease or harm to humans. Long-term exposure to low levels of heavy metals, however, can result in an accumulation of these toxins in your body.

My visit with NP Harpreet was one of the best healthcare experiences I've ever had! She really cares and wants to get you better, and she listens and spends so much time with you. Plus, her holistic training means she can see links between different symptoms and causes that conventional docs would miss. The office has a calm atmosphere and modern equipment, and everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. The Center has my wholehearted recommendation!

My wife was met with compassionate care from the moment we stepped in the door. The administrative staff (Denita) is world class and willing to go out of the way to help in any way for patients. Harpreet is one of the most caring providers we've ever met. Her humble confidence and the way she passionately wants to see her patients get healthy is so encouraging.
She is extremely knowledgeable and she is also an amazing listener, understanding exactly what her patient is going through so she can give the best medical care. After months of searching for answers, we are so glad to have found the Kaplan Center. We honestly would travel across the country if we had to, in order to receive their medical care. If you are suffering from long covid, look no further than the Kaplan Center.

I'm so grateful and fortunate to have access to the Kaplan center. I had health concerns that were ignored and dismissed by all my other providers. Not here, my concerns that were once treated as trivial were clues that Dr. Lilienfield and her team payed attention to and have the knowledge and tools to address. I am experiencing the best health outcomes now with their guidance.

My daughter saw Dr. Lisa about her Vitiligo and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. After thousands of dollars out of pocket in tests and visits she saw absolutely no improvement. Not only that, but when she was sick and unable to make an appointment they had no sympathy or care and would not allow the appointment to be cancelled without $150 charge. They don't see you with humanity and compassion in this clinic, only as a means to their bottom line. How sad and unfortunate for a business in medical profession.

I am profoundly grateful for The Kaplan Center. They are an amazing team of knowledgeable and caring people. My life is forever changed and my health has been restored. I thank God that my husband found Dr. Kaplan on the internet. I had lost hope because no other doctor knew what to do with me and some wouldn't even see me. What an awesome place- a true gift!

The Kaplan Center is hands down the best physician's office I have been to. From the receptionists to the medical techs to the nurses to the physicians, everyone is very knowledgeable and very caring. They treat you like a person versus just another appointment to get in and get out. After years of living with a medical problem and having other doctors ignore it, Dr. Erika LeBaron took me seriously, ran tests, diagnosed my problem and is working with me to solve it and optimize my health.

When traditional medicine isn't helping or has failed and you are out of options getting help or treatment for chronic pain, then the Kaplan Center specialists should be on your short list of those to see to help find an answer. Kaplan Center doctors and supporting staff work using a team approach to help provide multiple avenues of analysis, treatment and relief.
Unlike typical doctors, these caring professionals will begin with a complete re-review of your history and current condition. Then they will look for the diseases and conditions that most doctors never consider that can cause or contribute to your chronic pain, poor overall health and decreased functionality. In treating you they will use every protocol or therapy available to reduce the pain, and get your body functioning the way it should be.
Typical one-on-one doctor appointments are three to four times longer than your typical doctor visit and will include reviewing of test results, physical exam, medications, supplements, treatment plan, any questions you may have and anything else in your life that could be contributing to your physical or mental health and condition. If you need to see other specialists, they will send to those they know and trust (typically the top specialists available no matter where they are).
I've been trying to find a solution to my chronic pain for over 24 years, two surgeries, well over 50 doctors and specialists and all the things that go with it. I may never be pain free, but my overall health has never been better - taking less medication, body is functioning and feeling better and even experiencing some weight loss. If you want to know more about the Kaplan Center approach and methodology read Dr. Kaplan's book - I did. If only I had known about the Kaplan Center 24 years ago when all of this started for me.
