After Driving and Hour and a Half, I got to My Appointment 45 minutes Early just to Wait 45 minutes Past My Appointment time to Meet Rude Employees, I Didn't get to Keep My Appointment Because No One Told Me to Bring a Driver because My Eyes would be Dilated!. I was told to just go ahead and Drive Myself even though I have Bad Tunnel Vision when My Eyes are Dilated!

Dr Lee is a gifted surgeon. He is held in high regard by his contemporaries. I suffered a detached retina in my left eye. Later my right eye required surgery. In both instances the operations were very successful. The end justify the means. Were my office visits long, yes. So what. I knew I was getting the best doctor in the area. Whatever it takes. It's your EYES.

I suffered a retinal detachment in June of 2021 and was referred to Dr Lee by my eye doctor. To my good fortune Dr Lee saw me the very next day, since time is of the essence to prevent permanent vision loss from this. Long story short I ended up having a vitrectomy and scleral buckle surgery performed by Dr Lee at Memorial Hospital South Bend. I can truly say I owe Dr Lee for not just restoring my sight, but returning it to 20/20. In closing I would like to thank Dr Lee and his staff for all they did to accomplish this result.

We've been here 2.5 hours and still have not seen Dr. this is our third visit and prior visits were the same. We may try being an hour late next time. It's frustrating AND exhausting.

Took my Aunt to an appointment at 11:20. I called at 1:30 to find out if she was done, was told she would see doctor in 20 to 25 minutes, at 2:15 she was finally done with appointment. This appointment was changed by them from her original appointment date. 3 hours to complete appointment, very poor service!

I had an appointment for 11:00 am that has been scheduled for more than 30 days. I have now been waiting 3 and a half hours for my procedure. This is ridiculous. Many times it is related to COVID, but this is just poor scheduling and the doctor doesn't care how long you wait as long as the bucks keep rolling in. Real compassion for his patients. NOT!

Was scared to go from some of the reviews on here. Was very happy to see that the whole staff from the nurses to the receptionist are super nice! The doctor (Dr Lee) was really helpful and knows what he is doing! The nurses assisting me (Ashley and Schae) really went above and beyond to ease my worries and answer all of my questions. People must realize this is the only place around that does this kind of work so they are super busy, but they do care.

My appt.was at 3:45pm and finally went back at 4:30. Didn't get out of there till almost 6pm didn't make a follow up appt.due to computers being down, didn't even give me instructions on how to take care of my eye I had to ask several times for those dark plastic things they're supposed to give you when you leave, my experience there was not pleasant, after waiting 3+ hours I was ready to leave, not professional at all but I have very limited places to go cause not everyone accepts medicaid, i guess Medicaid latinos get treated differently n have to wait for a call back from them to get a follow up appt, let's see how long it takes to get one.

I had an appointment with Dr Lee at 5pm and after 3 sets of dilation drops and an eye exam, I was out of the office in 55 minutes, timed it. Before, I had to come earlier and wait longer. Dr Lee was cheerful and his staff was nice. He didn't have late appointments before, so that was nice and convenient for my work schedule. Dr Lee was referred as the best in the area and the highest caliber.

I guess it explains his wait time. I didn't think about writing it, because I don't usually write good reviews (does anyone? haha!) but I'm very thankful to Dr Lee and his staff for patiently guiding me through a dark hour, reassuring me, answering my questions on a weekend and saving my vision, which is the most important part of this feedback. Literally just came out of a eye surgeon's office in Indy and need to post a warning to others, after refusing to let my daughter go through a procedure at this awful office. Dr Lee's assessment was completely wrong (her left eye was clear and did not have a flap and horseshoe tear!) after waiting in His office for 6 hours, 14 drops due to the extensive wait time and poking wooden sticks in my daughter's eyes.

We left and never looked back. The reception staff was rude to my husband who came in looking for us due to being concerned about our extensive time there. The staff didn't seem to care about the service they were providing. I never leave reviews but knowing that this office is one of only 2 places in The area that accepts Medicaid, people Need to know!

Especially the several elderly people with no other options in this area. Go to Indy it was worth the 2 hour drive to have one of best services I ever had at a medical facility and to trust that the info was right and that my daughter and myself were treated as people and not cogs with a medical card.
