My Dr.requested a nuclear stress test back in mid April for May 16th, that morning as i was getting ready to leave at 7;30 in the am for my 8 am app, i received a call from someone that my insurance had not sent them the approval yet and they rescheduled me for June 2nd.stating that the insurance company was taking longer, which i thought did not ring true.

I called my insurance and they said i did not need certification. i called back and left a message for Jamie who i was told did pre certifications she never called, left another message no call to this day, she is obviously too important to deal with a patients concerns. I then got a hold of Alan the mgr. who looked at my file and noticed that on my chart it said pre certification was not required evidently someone named Tyra had not bothered to even check if a certification was needed at all, she did not even bother looking at my chart.

This is unforgivable in a cardiologist office as it could mean life or death. I must say Alan was very quick to respond he did what he said he was going to do and was very understanding and apologetic Dr Prassad is awesome, Alan was great but the rest of the staff need to be trained in customer service or just plain common sense.

I left them some time ago and they were notified that I will no longer be using any of their services. I recently received a call from a collection agency stating they were collecting on a bad debt from CVC. After getting in touch with CVC they told me the chargers were for recent monitoring, reviewing, and reporting from recent information on my heart.

I explained to them I have never received any reports from them or any bills. I was told they did not have any information on reports and the bill was sent to an old address I had not lived in for years. They acknowledged the letters were returned and even though the had my current phone number and email address they did not attempt to contact me because they were "short staffed". They just sent the bill to collection. Do not trust them with your health!

1) First appointment with new cardiologist lasted 5 minutes. Had not read my chart from previous cardiologist. 2) As I write this, I have been holding for 40 minutes to cancel a future appointment. This is my 2nd attempt to do so. My first attempt had a 35 minute wait, then I was forwarded to a VM. Update: Finally my call was answered after 42 minutes. 3) Just received a notice in the mail that my first appt. has been billed to the WRONG insurance company.

I now have to spend most of my day trying to get someone on the phone to sort this out. So frustrating! If you are looking for a cardiology group that is attentive and professional, this is not the group for you.

Billing used wrong diagnosis code, so it's denied, 1 year later CCC send 1st statement after I can no longer appeal to ins. CVC refuses to reprocess with correct diagnosis code, so they can collect more than ins contracted amount. I had met my ded and out-of-pocket, so ins will pay at 100% if they reprocessed. I've asked and they refuse. Also, doctor stated at the visit pn his notes there was an interpreter present.

There wasn't, it was just me and the doctor. He speaks English (smells like BO) and I speak English, there was no need for interpreter. The front office receptionist is rude, no personality and appears to hate what she does for a living. Find another cardiologist! This place is awful!

Absolutely horrible communication and don't care attitude. I was seen by one of the cardiologists (not exactly friendly) who did a stress test. I was never asked to fill out paperwork for CVC as far as address, health insurance etc. In fact I was never told they were outside contractors and I assumed the cardiologist was part of the hospital, never having identified himself as being from an outside practice.

After the short stay I had the usual bills between the hospital, insurance etc., all of which were taken care of between me and my health insurance in a timely manner. NEVER did I receive anything from a CVC so I was oblivious to their existence. 15 months later I discovered from my credit report that I had been turned over to collections. Shocked, I called the agency who told me they were collecting on behalf of CVC. Followed up with CVC where I have encountered nothing but rudeness and apathy.

I found out the they had been sending bills to an incorrect address (never associated with me) and to boot even had the incorrect insurance information and telephone number, clearly a clerical error on their end. Their claim to me is that it was my responsibility to provide them with the correct address etc. WHEN WAS THIS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN! I had no idea they even existed let alone an outstanding bill.

Their position has remained the same, that the responsibility rests with the patient and goodbye. Once I gave them the correct address and insurance information they resubmitted to insurance who in turn denied the claim because it was 14 months past the fact. At no point have they ever been prepared to admit that they had entered the incorrect information for me (clearly mixing somebody else's details into my account) and insist that my account belongs in collections since I did not provide them with the correct information (WHEN?) Clearly I will pay the $990 but very grudgingly, since they never billed MY insurance or communicated with me.

To make matters worse their accounts department treat me horribly over the phone as though I am this delinquent trying to renege on a bill. It sounds like they contract with a third party billing company who have no reason to be professional on the phone and that their office is happy to wipe their hands of the error and place the blame squarely on me.

Sure I owe them money, and sure it will be paid but how about an apology or admission followed by a retraction from the collection company? DISGUSTING, RUDE, UNPROFFESIONAL, IMPERSONAL

My first appointment went well. We tried two medications to lower my blood pressure. I had an adverse reaction to both medications. I called to make another appointment to review and discuss additional options. Their scheduler indicated that the next available appointment at ANY of their office locations was six weeks out. SIX WEEKS.to see to see a CARDIOLOGIST! That's just unacceptable!

My husband has been seen by 5 different cardiologists in 6 years. Only one doctor there took the time to listen and answer our questions. Now he is retiring. I know that it is time to move from the CVC to obtain better care for my husband. Each doctor we had seen gave us different information on how to best care for my husband's heart. It was very confusing and frustrating.

Everytime i have come i wait and wait and wait. However, they say if you are five minutes late you missed your appointment and have to reschedule or they TRY to work you in. I have been here now for almost 2 hours waiting for appointment I scheduled a month ago. I will never use this company again. Very unprofessional and clearly their patients are not important to them

While the actual medical service providers are good, their dismal front end staff more than offsets that. Today I went in for an appt that was set up five or six months ago. For the second time in a row, I was told I didn't have an appt. The first time I had been given an appt for the next day but across town, which was fine because it was urgent.

They gave me the address when I made the appt, but then I was told the PA wasn't at that site that day and I wasn't in their schedule. I retold how the appt was made the day before and they argued that it couldn't have been made the way I was saying. After all this she then said "besides it was at two." No, I was told 11am. Today I was told the appt was cancelled but she didn't know why.

I told her I didn't cancel it. I didn't get any notice either. I left, making sure she understand I was going elsewhere. You might want to go elsewhere as well. may be only way you can actually get in to see the doctor.

I took a friend to the Bell Rd main office of Cardiovascular Consultants today. The appointment was at 11:20. We were sitting in the exam room by then with someone ready to monitor her pace maker. After the EKG, which was done by a very patient young lady due to my friend having health issues and in a wheelchair, the FNP came in. I can't say enough positive about Nichole.

She was patient and worked with my friend who is hard of hearing and asks the same questions repeatedly. Nichole explained everything so that my friend really was able to understand what was happening and her options. Nichole was positive but didn't make treatments sound like a cure-all. She spent so much time with us; truly a caring individual.

I will not question the quality of medical care you might receive from these people, but if you expect to be treated like a human being and expect someone who truly cares about your well-being, go somewhere else. With the exception of one person in the CVC office, I have found everyone to be disrespectful, unprofessional, rude and/or condescending. Yes, including the doctors.

I believe that comes from the top and that it is a systemic problem in this medical facility. This is just one of many examples: I had an appointment and live 25 miles from the doctor's office. Because I was still recovering from open-heart surgery, I arranged for someone to drive me who had to take time away from work to do so. When I showed up at the office, I was told "The doctor isn't here today.

We rescheduled you for next week." No one called me in advance to tell me that and no one apologized. Making matters worse, they then canceled my appointment three more weeks in a row. So, five weeks after my original appointment I finally got to see my doctor, which was two months after my surgery.

I used to be impressed but not any longer. i would never recommend them to anyone. they do not care about the oath that they took but rather they would rather kill someone than let them into their office when no one is there and not see them because of a mask, that is known to be more infectious and carry diseases that you don't even want to know about. if you love masks, you probably will love them. as a doctor, they need to abide by the oath they took but that went out the window. no one was in the office when i arrived. no scientific proof about masks, fucki states masks don't work and the doctor can't give me a scientific study that shows masks work. so goodbye to cvc! look up your oath and care for all patients. if you can't research the deadly health affects of masks, you all suck as doctors!

I came here to get a check up on an abnormality on my heart rate. So far, they've had me wear two take home monitors, lost one set of results, scheduled me 2 weeks or instead of a month or four results on the test that takes 3 weeks to process, and I still don't know what my results are 3 months after my first visit. Avoid this place.

07/06/2021 visit I have gone to see Dr Damien, at the Bell location on a few occasions before today. Today however was a major fail! The professionalism by Kelsey at the front desk, was just not there as she was very rude, kurt and abrupt. She wanted me to sign some papers, but I wasn't going to sign something where paper stated that I read the policy and acknowledge the policy, when I was not given a copy of it.

So I asked her about it and she finally gave me a copy of it. They should give you a copy of the policy that you are signing that you acknowledge with the paperwork that they are giving you. From that point on she just got an attitude and was very kurt and short in her answers. I don't appreciate being treated unprofessionally by the front desk help at a doctor's office.

To make matters worse I waited in the room to see someone for over 20 minutes and nobody still came. Finally I just left without seeing the doctor. To add to this, there was a woman in the waiting room. Her experience was she was told to come in at 2:30 even though her appointment was at 3:30 and at 3:30 she was still sitting waiting there for her 2:30 appointment.

She got upset as well that she was called and told to come in early and here she was at her regular schedule appointment time and still waiting to see the doctor. The fault does not lie with Dr Damien, the fault lies with the staff and the staff is going to make patients not want to come back and this is something that the doctor's office should look and access.

It is virtually impossible to get through on the telephone. They do not offer virtual appointments, and their staff is nasty and unprofessional. I have heart problems, and they will not schedule a virtual appointment (they still will be paid from the insurance company), so I do not have to come to the office, as I am homebound currently. They stated Dr. Gupta does not do virtual appointments.

I had a test regarding my heart - I have cardiovascular disease - and unless I come into their office, they will not give me the results. If I die as a result, they could care less. Choose another practice. They are so unprofessional. It's not about the patient. It is about the money - it's a business. So if you want to know about your test results, do not go here. They refuse to give them to you.

Dear Public Consumers, I had to call four times to get a hold of the self pay lady name Leslie from billing department. Every time I called it rang right into her voicemail, and it would take her sometime to return my call back. Not a friendly customer service environment, this needs to be reported to the city of Phoenix so they can review how this business still offers public services without complying with the rules and regulations of consumers. Cardiovascular Consultants, LTD needs to be fully audited by an external state officers and see how they don't take good care of the patients. There has to be new managements otherwise this office will have lots of issues with new patients.

You wrote a review for Cardiovascular Consultants 2 days ago 4/14/2021 Dr Pa order test for me that was not needed and had put in false information in my chart. He said that I complained of leg cramps and that is not true now it is on my record! I went to him because I had chest pains and heart palpitations only. Dr Pa and his staff are sub par, Dr Pa order test for me that was not needed and had put in false information in my chart.

He put in my chart I complained of leg cramps and that is not true now it is on my record! I went to him because I had chest pains and heart palpitations. so he ordered test that was not necessary. I have tried to talk to the office manager several time and they refuse to call me back! they mess up on my appt and one of the Tec totally blew off my appt and took someone else in my place! they are rude and condescending, yesterday one of the tec that was going to do this one test that I did not need actually was arguing with me when I said I never told dr pa I had leg cramps and telling well it says so in your chart? I'm like no never said that. that is false info in my medical chart now. now they gave me this crappy heart monitor that is a piece of crap. taking it back. not impressed at all in this place they seem money hungry and order test to charge my ins that are not needed and the staff is rude, on a positive note the front staff at the reception are nice

I like so many other reviews had an appointment with Dr. Damian. He walked in without introducing himself an hour after my scheduled appointment time, showing up after I had stepped out into the hall to complain. Was told they had called him but he wasn't there. He had my test results, which he obviously had not looked at prior. When he asked if I had any more questions I asked why did I have an appointment scheduled if he wasn't going to be there?

He said he was at hospital and they didn't give him enough notice. I assume since I had an appointment with his name on it he had that information too! I said someone could have called me prior and all he said was it shouldn't have happened. No apology. I have never had an experience with a doctor that I felt could care less than with this man.

Clean facility. The only thing is they only let you be late, 15 minutes past your appointment time and that time it was my first time being late. If not you have to reschedule. Yet, here I am earlier today. And my appointment was supposed to be at 7:45 and I'm waiting at 7:51. How come we can't be a little late due to traffic. Yet, the doctors and nurses can have us here waiting for minutes to and hour?

Doesn't make since. They need to be better on time as well! And not have us sitting here waiting for along time; when we aren't even aloud to be a little late only 15 mins. I have to leave an hour early just to be here. It's ridiculous.

First off, let me say that Dr. Chen is a great doctor. But you can never get any one in the front office on a phone. Then you get a message that says to leave a message and you will be contacted in 24 hrs. This never happens and it is very bad customer service. I waited to see a new Dr. Krauthammer on new years Eve. I had the apointment for over 2 months I was 30 min. Early.

I was told he was out of town and they had tryed to call me. No they did not and I live over an hour away. I have e-mail, text messaging, and call service. They could have a the very minimum left me a message. The young Lady who told me that was a little smart ass. She called my phone to show me they had the right number. It rang OK. But it has there ID blocked.

I told her no one in there right minds answers blocked calls. They could atleast show its CVC calling. She said that was just my opinion. I have switched cardio. Groups and highly rrcommed that no one put there care in this groups hands. They also tryed to way overcharge for a procedure and I was told that's how they always charge. Can you say Medicare fraud?

They did fix it, but Im sure its still going on. Most people dont check with there insurance company to see whats being charged. But I always check because I know how offten coding errors can happen. But they always seem to happen in the company's favor, not yours. Its not just the co pay, but what they can then charge the insurance for. So watch out no matter who you see.

This is for the location on 92nd st, but there isn't a Yelp account for it I had an appt for a new patient at 4:20pm. I arrive promptly at 4pm. To be told that my appt is at 4:40pm (okay fine whatever) but that Dr Damien is running late an hour. So I wait to be seen. Finally get seen at 5:25pm. The MA did my EKG while I was sitting in a chair. Dr Damien came in and he didn't even do a physical assessment. Didn't even listen to my heart.

He spent 95% of the time on his computer. Refilled my medication and told me to come back in 3 weeks. I waited so long for this crappy appt?! He didn't even look at my ekg until I asked him. Then the girl at checkout was rude. She informed me what works for her and didn't ask what my schedule is. then scheduled me with Dr Damien in 2 months!

Not 3 weeks like he asked. because he doesn't have anything available. Then she said I'd be seen by him or his Np. Awful. If I make an appt with the doctor, I need to see him and not the Np. Or be told otherwise. Stay away from this office.

No matter which location I am at, I have always received the best of care! Terry and Dr Tran are the two most amazing people and medical professionals I have experienced! What a team they are! When I was going through some serious problems, Terry called me as well as had the triage check up on me. I never felt alone during that struggle! The front desk and the medical assistants are ALL so sweet! Amazing group!

Completely unprofessional. First I made my appointment advised them that I have a lung disease and cannot wear a mask no comment was made when I made the appointment. So I drive 40 miles to their office only to be told that they will refuse to see me without a mask. My own pulmonary doctor told me not to wear a mask. So sad when the medical community denies service to those with medical exceptions. Now to hunt for a new cardiologist since they wouldn't even see me the first time.

My rating for cardio consultants covers 2 visits to them. 9/15 I was having an audio exam on my heart. Less than 5 minutes in a Dr knocked on the door, came in, and informed the tech doing my test that he had 2 test results with errors! This information cast doubt on the person doing my test. The Dr coming in had zero respect for my privacy as a patient.

And certainly upset me.while I was having a heart exam! Third. There should be policies regarding to health and well being of the locations patients to not upset them, and respect their privacy, while test are being done. Combined to the office manager before I left. Came back on 10/1 and discussed the above with my Dr. The office did not inform her. Nor did they reinforce privacy policies with the staff since my visit. Lucky for me, I'm healthy enough to go elsewhere.

My mother had a pacemaker put in at Abrazo in March 2020. CVC is the hospital preferred provider. Upon her discharge I was told a pacemaker monitor would be sent to her. At both follow up visits at CVC we were again told it would be sent, still nothing. Upon visit with Abbot device rep at CVC again inquired and got oh we will get it to her. Here we are in June and I called CVC 4 times, left messages for Lindsey who is in charge, so I have been told.

Never received a return call. Finally I refused to be transferred to Lindsey since she is obviously uncaring or incompetent or both I was told to call Abbott the device mfg as they were to have sent it. Again 3 months post Sx without heart monitor. I speak to Abbott and was told the device showed assigned to my mom, but it hadn't been registered in "Merlin" when asked how To register it, I was told that was the CARDIOLOLOGiSTs responsibly.

So here we go again, CVC can't register the device, but they sure got their bills out quickly. Again after never receiving a callback from incompetent and uncaring Linsey I finally got Lisa who promised to help and have the pacemaker registered. So had I not advocated for my mom she would not have her heart monitor. No one at CVC took again, pure lip service.

Never once was an apology offered. Honestly if you have a choice for cardiac care and it is not an emergency I would not seek treatment from this group. While the doctors may be competent their staff is not and that is who you will interact. I doubt that the doctors in this group are aware of how their patients are treated. Who knows I'd Lindsey even exists or if that is just a voicemail box so they do not have to interact with patients. Most uncaring, unprofessional medical office, find another cardiologist office and save yourself the frustration.

Linda that works for Dr Damian is amazing. She's so caring. Calls to check in, avoids unnecessary appointments. In this time no one wants to leave their house and she always takes so much time to get what she can over the phone. Last couple days she's been amazing but this is not the first time!

I must update my precious experience!. I changed doctors within the group to Dr Geohas. He was also my mothers doctor. I cannot say at enough wonderful and positive remarks about Dr Geohas. He recently ran an echocardiogram to see if there were any issues due to my abnormal ekg. If there were issues, then he would have scheduled a stress test. He is very aware of what the insurance carriers will and will not pay for. He is extremely thorough and won't let you leave the office without understanding the test results.

I am appalled by the way my father in law was treated at the new office. He has been a patient for at least 20 years with Dr. Damian never having a problem. This year being over eighty you would think more attentive treatment would be given. He was given medicine that was shooting pains in his head. He made his appointment with same complaint. It was cancelled without notice.

He drove 30 miles to just be turned around. Nothing resolved new appointment. This happened three times without anyone seeing him about SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS from medication that this place prescribed. I can find no reason for this type of treatment of a patient EVER! A call stating prior appointment cancelled or Dr. Review complaint and come up with solution to medication. The receptionist proceeded to rip his appointment paper and say "Well that's how it is." BEWARE if elderly!

After my personal doctor referred me to CVC, I received a call from them before I even had a chance to call them. They worked hard to get me an appointment within a one-week time frame. The office on Bell Road was very modern and efficient. I was quickly checked in and barely had a chance to sit down in the waiting room when my name was called several minutes before my appointment time.

After the usual preliminary checks, I again waited only a few minutes before Jon, a PA, came in and discussed my symptoms with me. He answered all my questions and setup the necessary test for the following week, along with an appointment with Dr Smith to go over the results of the test after it is completed. I was on my way home only 35 minutes after my appointment. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant and professional, so I was very pleased with my first visit to CVC.
