Skin Deep Laser Med Spa

I came back here for a facial a few weeks ago. It was still very good, but I'm so disappointed that they raised their prices to 125 per facial :(. They have flash sales sometimes, but I can't prepay it. I'm still going to come back here, but not as often anymore :(

Recently had an appointment for a facial with Carrie and the whole experience was great! It was my first visit and the checking in process was a breeze; once I got in the room Carrie was very friendly and asked me what my focus was and made sure I was comfortable. During the facial she even explained what everything she was using was for and targeting my problem areas. Definitely will be returning for her services!

In particular I would like to write about my positive experience with Barbara Tucker for both Botox and Fillers. I have been receiving both from her since 2019. She is a consummate professional. She knows her art through and through. In addition, she is so soothing, so calm, so pleasant and knowledgeable. She can answer all questions and concerns and in addition, easily can become a sincere friend.

She remembers you and what you've shared about your life and takes a true interest in your news, as you meet twice a year or so. In the meantime, she helps to add soft fulness and definition to your face, to the maximum advantage, and gently, naturally brings you to achieving your lovely beauty back. I really appreciate Barbara's 'way'. She is a pleasure to know and a pleasure to receive care from. I recommend her without hesitation.

Love this spa! I regularly get Botox and filler here with Marion. She is amazing at what she does. Her technique is flawless and I love how comfortable she makes me feel during the process. A month ago I was not able to schedule with Marion because of conflicting schedules so I scheduled my appt with Crystal, a new provider. She is equally amazing!

I have had Botox several places prior to finding Skin Deep and have never had two more amazing providers! Crystal is a wonderful asset to Skin Deep with her gentle injection style. I highly recommend both!

I had a Botox and filler appointment with Marion and it was amazing! She listened attentively to my areas of concern and addressed each one. I am very happy with my results. We talked about my long term goals and how we can improve them over time. Needless to say, I am excited! and am definitely coming back! The person at the front desk was super sweet and patient as I fumbled back and forth of when I wanted my next appointment. It's been two weeks since my appointment so everything has settled and I am looking refreshed and well-rested. I have received many compliments. I am genuinely extremely happy :

I have been coming here for facials for several years now, and have never had such a horrible experience as I did on Friday July 23rd. My appointment was for 4:00pm, yet had to wait 10 min to be taken back. This was fine at the time, I have had to wait before and know that they always just go over the scheduled end time. The second my facial started I was immediately uncomfortable.

My facialist was moving around so quickly that she was bumping into the bed causing it to shake. Additionally, she was practically slapping product onto my face, so sloppily that it actually got into my nose and into my mouth. When going to take off the product, she put a scorching hot towel over my ENTIRE face, covering my nose causing me to have a hard time breathing.

When it was finally over, I checked my phone and it had ended at 4:50pm! She was rushing so much that she ended my facial 20 min early. When I finally got someone on the phone to talk about my experience (which took 5 days after being told a manager would call me on Monday, but did not until Wednesday), the best they could offer was 20% off my next facial.

I should be OWED 20% from how short my first facial was! To top it off, I am moving out of California in a week so I couldnt even take advantage of the measly 20% off. After asking if I could get a discount on products because of this, I was essentially told no and "too bad". The horrible experience was topped off by really poor customer service.

Over a week ago I booked an appointment for a treatment with an RN. The receptionist who helped me at the time, kept on putting me on hold before she communicated verbally that I have an appointment for today, Thursday, April 8th at 9:45 am with Barbara, RN. This morning I showed up for my appointment and the receptionist present stated that my appointment was made for tomorrow morning, Friday at 9:45 am.

She gave various reasons as to why I have misunderstood the day, trying to convince me that I had made a mistake. She asked me to check my apptm. confirmation text and I stated that I haven't received any. I also stated there wasn't any mistake on my part, as I requested a Thursday appointment and was provide one on the phone, for 9:45 today. The receptionist present realized that another colleague had made a mistake and apologized.

She had also requested that I decide on the spot if I was keeping the erroneous appointment for tomorrow, as the office was going to charge me if I was cancelling less than 24 hours in advance. Very poor public relations skills, as my position wasn't in the wrong. Should I demand a discount equivalent to the practice's charge for late cancellation?

I probably should. A discount or a bonus service should be offered by the practice considering I am paying at the time of service. I am totally displeased with the handling of the situation, as I drove 1 hour each way from Whittier for this appointment. Daniela S.

I've been coming here for my tattoo laser removal for some time now. I just had my 4th session today. It's super painful during, but that's it, no lasting pain. Finding a place that did pmu removal was very difficult and I am so grateful to have found this place. I love them here, they're very nice and helpful during and after.

This place has quickly gone downhill. I used to get a lot of services done at this place and loved the treatments. Not sure what happened within the last year, but staff have become VERY creepy. Some guy named michael kept smiling at me in a weird way and made me feel super uncomfortable. Long story short, but I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're looking to get creeped out. Go to Newport if you want any quality. Or Beverly Hills, better off.

Given all of the restrictions and obstacles businesses have to go through during COVID, Riki and the ladies at the front desk have made me feel safe by enforcing the endless guidelines. A huge round of applause! I have been going to Skin Deep for at least four years. Riki is fantastic and makes booking and rescheduling an easy process. On arrival she is more than welcoming and makes be feel like a friend by taking the time to catch up on life! Melissa some how gives painless skinny shots! Barbara is the expert on everything.

I have gotten my closest friends to switch from their medspas to Skin Deep to see Tamara for Botox and fillers. Tamara is so great that I followed her from a previous job. I love how she encourages and understands a natural look. I have never felt pressured to buy more services/products or any up-sale like other places. Thank you to everyone at SD! You really are the best!

I have had nothing but great experiences with this place. The staff is friendly and properly enforces the companies policies to keep everyone safe and satisfied. I've recommended this place to friends and family, and they have all enjoyed their experience here. Thank you to all staff! I look forward to my future appointments.

This review is based on what they call a teenager facial. I took my son who at the time was 13 and had the obvious teenage blemishes and acne. Prior to arriving I had him on a pretty good skin regimen using good natural products but wanted his skin to get hydrated and have some possible extractions. After his facial I asked him how he liked it and he said his face was burning the whole time and he was told that was normal.

The next day he woke up and his face looked sunburned and was peeling around the cheeks. His nose was flaming and when I took him to a dermatologist they said the chemicals used in their products probably burned the top layer of his skin. I would proceed w caution and do more research on what's in the products they use if you decide to come and/or bring a loved one. Since then I've taken him somewhere else and his skin looks amazing

I really don't understand what's going on with the botox here. I have had Botox many times, the same amount in the same places and for reasons I can't explain the injections from this place "sort of" worked, but for 400$ I don't want sort of. It took a long time to set in, by two weeks I still was able to move the area. I went back for a touch up and still it "sort of" helped. Very very odd. The woman was sweet, but that doesn't help my face or pocket book It's very disappointing

I've followed Barbara Tucker for YEARS! She is the only person who I allow to touch my face! Most professional and informative. She has many years experience! I highly recommend her!

I am here monthly to see Carrie! She is so sweet and makes sure my skin is healthy and glowing. Everyone that works here is actually very nice, especially the girls at the front desk! Facials are reasonably priced and not to mention, super relaxing! The facility is really clean and pristine! I will definitely continue coming each month!

Very friendly place. Clean and beautiful. The woman who did my procedure was Crystal and she was most patient with me and gentle. She is very skilled at her job. Front desk receptionist, Michelle, was also very kind and friendly and both were knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. Everyone I met was smiling and gracious. I would absolutely recommend this place as they are awesome in their work.

What an experience so far. I booked a custom facial here and a quick consultation for laser hair removal. Carrie was my esthetician for my facial and I walked outta there floating on air. She was very gentle with my skin and the products they used didn't irritate me which is surprising because I have very sensitive skin that turns blotchy for everything.

The facial itself was relaxing and the blackhead extractions left my skin feeling SO smooth and silky! I've already booked my next facial, along with my laser hair removal which I'm sure will be just as great. Thanks again Carrie and thank you to the front desk for the help getting me in and out in a timely manner (Evelyn). :)

This place is terrible for tattoo removals! they told me that I would have minor scars and after my 7 treatments all they left was a huge scar and pigmentation around my skin.and I called the office for them to make it right and all they say is that the huge scar is normal which is completely a lie! I just don't understand why they did not let me know "hey we will remove the ink but the picture of the tattoo will be left in a scar" this place is a scam! DO NOT GO FOR TATTOO REMOVAL!

My family and I have been loyal customers for over 5 years and sadden that the front desk receptionist working today was very unprofessional and spoke to me poorly. I called the office and nobody answered so I left a message that I would be 15 min late. Yes, I was late but this was my first time to be late to my appt due to 110 ramp closure on a Saturday afternoon and she just told me rudely that, " any appt 15 min late will have to reschedule".

I explained my situation and also I drove 1 hr away to get there but she was not willing to help me. I've waited for 20-30 mins in the past to be seen and this was my 1st time late she was unwilling to accommodate me. So sad because this was my med spa for years but I have to say, I WONT be coming back. Horrible customer service and no wiggle room for even loyal customers.

Skin Deep has been my personal hero since 2005! If you don't know this already, injectables are ONLY as good as the people who inject them, and getting it right takes uncommon skill and the eye of an artist: Marion and Tamara are superior in this regard.
