As a previous patient of Dr Davenport, it pains me to add this review. After my wife who was his patient a few years back, injured her hand in a fall. After trying to get thru to make an appointment for three days, we finally got through only to be denied care. Dr Davenport apparently doesn't want to treat her in case we sue the place where she fell. I guess too much paperwork is more important than the Hippocratic oath to heal. Shame on you Clark Davenport!

I wish I had read the reviews before going to this place. First off, everyone is right about the phone system. I left a voicemail about making an appointment. I completely forgot about it until one month later I get a follow up call about it. One month! Next is the waiting. I waited for TWO HOURS to see Dr Heard. I overheard another patient who was ahead of me complaining about the wait time and the nurse told them there was one more person in front of her.
This meant that there were at least 2 people still ahead of me after having already waited two hours. I had been gone from work for too long already, so I left without seeing the doctor. This shows a complete lack of respect for patients' time. And the fact that this issue is expressed in so many other reviews shows that this office has done nothing to address the cause. Save your time and frustration and do not go here.

Dr. Davenport has been a great provider for my mother. However, i am saddened to say the office staff provides such poor service. Not sure if it is a new office staff - but just not up to par! They should confirm prior to appointments if they have not received referrals or pertinent documents, so that the patient can step in and try to alleviate - NOT after waiting for an hour in the waiting room and only informing my mom because she went to the receptionist and asked for status on her appointment.
Yes it could have been because of technical difficulties, but communicate in a timely manner so patients are not wasting their time. My mom was in tears - she has been waiting for weeks for this appointment and has been in such pain! As you can see by them responding to the reviews, they are more interested in being right than seeking to understand the patient and finding well rounded solutions for their patients - who are their customers!

I had an appointment with Dr. Davenport last week. I sat in the waiting room for almost an hour. Then I was called back to one of the rooms. After sitting there for 30 minutes, a commotion happened outside my door. Apparently, one of Dr. Davenports patients passed out. He did come out of his room with another patient, spoke with her (all of 5 minutes), then had his office staff assist her.
After another 20 minutes of waiting, I went oustside my room to speak with his office staff to complain about how long I was in his office. They tell me he had another patient before me before I could even be seen. 2 hours/ missed work and yet I did not see the doctor. I was livid. I went off and even called back to go off again. Worst doctor ever and minus the reception, the worst office staff ever. Keep it moving! Go see someone else

Staff is extremely unprofessional. Tried calling office for two days straight and not one answer. PCP called in front of me on Thursday as well and left a message and no return call. I show up for my appt on Monday and was told I could not be seen without the authorization code that my PCP should have known. I told them we tried calling you for two days straight and no answer.
They told me they don't answer phones. Unfortunately this is the only ortho that takes my insurance. When I was explaining the issue with the staff coordinator they just laughed and smirked in my face.

Very compasionate care on behalf of the Dr. Osteen and his staff. I am thankful for the way the clinic accommodated our needs to get us in to see the Doctor the same day. Dr. Osteen asked for our X-ray as soon as we walked in and seeing there was a broken bone took us in examination room without waiting to fill out all the paper work in order to provide quicker service. Would like to give special mention of the nurse who helped us but didn't get her name. I will update this post when I have it.

My wife had surgery with Dr Baker and I'm getting ready to have surgery with Dr Davenport. We both really like the Doctors. The staff has always been great with us. Always returns calls in a very timely manner. They have always been very good about fitting me in if they have a cancellation. They have me on a bump list for surgery in case of cancellations. Showed up today a half hour early and was taken right back and waited for doctor about 5 minutes. Always been very helpful so I'm pleased with the whole firm.

The Doctors are great! But the office is horrible! Their phone system doesn't work right so it's hard to speak with them, because your voice repeats and echos back while you are trying to speak with them. Even when you have bad pain they make you wait even a few weeks out. They said they do not have a cancellation list nor can you call back and check to see if something opens sooner.
They do not have a call reminder system so they will not call to remind you about your appointment and whomever is the staff on the phone is not courteous/nor customer service oriented. They talk very curt/short to you and my entire family goes here so we have had many conversations. I'm only staying with this practice because of the doctors there. Sorry, but we do not recommend them to others.
