Medical Center Radiology Group

MCRG's multidisciplinary team provides state-of-the-art imaging in cardiovascular medicine. MCRG has partnered with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and emergency physicians to develop a chest pain center in the diagnosis of acute patients presenting to our emergency departments. Our use of cardiac/coronary CTA has helped reduce hospital length of stay across the hospital system, thus reducing health care costs.

The neuroradiology subspecialty division of MCRG is comprised entirely of physicians who have earned the American Board of Radiology Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology, and all are Senior Members in the American Society of Neuroradiology. World-class expertise is provided for brain, spine, ear, eye, nose and throat imaging and diagnosis utilizing multiple high field MRI scanners including 3T technology.

MCRG provides sophisticated nuclear medicine and molecular imaging services key to the evaluation of patients with a diverse array of pathological processes. Studies that are typically only offered in a university setting are made readily available to members of the Central Florida community. Unlike most other facilities, MCRG and Orlando Health have SPECT-CT capability, combining the strengths of functional imaging with the anatomic precision of computed tomography.These studies allow our board-certified nuclear medicine physicians and subspecialty-trained radiologists to better localize pathology and provide more accurate results to our referring physicians.

MCRG provides Cancer imaging and interpretation for University of Florida Cancer Center at Orlando Health as well as the many private Oncology practices in the Central Florida community. Imaging technology management, study review and interpretation, and physician consultation are centerpieces of the practice.
