Illness such as sore throats, flu, urinary tract infections and injuries such as broken bones, sprains and lacerations are commonly seen in our Urgent Care. All of our providers are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Urgent Care when it comes to Covid is like a scene from Keystone Cops. Whomever answers the phone doesn't listen and said in her most condescending voice "we don't test just for exposure". Duh if you would of been listening to me instead of chatting with a co-worker, I told you 4 of the symptoms my daughter had and, is obviously more than just exposure.
When I first called IMMC in the morning, I was reassured that I could get my daughter a Covid test AND see the doctor. But, upon arrival at IMMC and calling to check in it was like my name was (Typhoid) Mary. Whomever answering the phone this time did not want to have to deal with any of the Covid (lepers) in the community. As she advised me of 30 minute wait time (so probably 60 minutes) her "Okay" (heavy sigh) was like "bummer another patient to deal with." Definitely going to find another Urgent Care as this is not the quality customer service I usually get from the clinic nor, is it in any sense reassuring or helpful.

Dr. Nicolette Hampton is AMAZING! Her nursing staff is also so wonderful, thoughtful, kind, caring, and they take the time to listen to you. She legitimately cares about her patients' well-being. I remember there was one time she didn't know the answer to one of my questions, so she went home and researched using all of her professional resources, and had her staff call me back with an answer.
She's extremely knowledgeable, but she's also honest. In fact, after moving to Idaho Falls, I still book appointments with her and make the drive down after work, since I know I won't find anyone better than both Dr. Hampton and her nursing staff.

Literally do not recommend this place to anyone, unless you're very well off financially and have your own private insurance. The staff are incredibly rude and prejudice towards their clients and patients whom receive medicaid and Medicare. Worst doctors office for professionalism I have ever been to. When I went with my little brother for his appointment prior to covid-19 outbreaks, he had a severe sore throat, cough and congestion and the doctor pulled up a picture of throat and explained to my mother and I as if we were unaware as to what a throat was and how it worked.
I have gone by myself and they treated me far less professional then that. I requested a sti test because I had suspected my partner was unfaithful, and the doctor asked me "Have you had more than one partner?" And I answered "No, I have not." She then proceeded to ask why I felt sti testing was nessicary in front of my partner. She did not ask once if I wanted him to leave so I could talk to her alone.
I wasn't in an abusive situation luckily although I can only imagine what could have happened if I had been. They have given me anti biotic medications and other medications without running labs or any test other then looking in my mouth, ears and nose. Every time I go in to the office when my primary doctor is not there, I feel I am incredibly disrespected and talked down to as if I am beneath the office and doctor staff.
This doctors office makes me increasingly disgusted with services each time I have to go in. Unfortunately I can hardly ever see my own doctor when unscheduled but nessicary visits arise because she is consistently booked out weeks in advance.

We have been patients at Intermountain Medical Clinic (Dr Thayne) for a number of years. Our experience has been very good with the clinic. We appreciate the availability of the walk in clinic a few times when we have needed it. Recently our mother (91 years old) moved in with us and needed a local primary care doctor. She is from Arco and had only been seen by the nurse at the local clinic for years. Intermountain Medical Clinic told us about Dr. Scott Christensen who was joining them and specialized in Geriatrics.
His exam was very thorough and he took the time to get to know her and her present condition. He recognized several things that needed further testing and definitely explained his diagnosis in an educated and relaxed manner. When the results of the tests came back, Dr. Christensen even took the time to call us personally and discuss the results (multiple times).
We can tell that he is skilled in his medical abilities and cares about his patients. Thanks to Dr. Christensen and all of the staff at Intermountain Medical. We will continue to appreciate and be thankful for the concern and care.

If I could give no stars I would! We have been going to them for two years now! I would never recommend them at this point their office staff is so rude. The ladies that answer the phone are always rude and when you go to check out they give you the nastiest looks I feel very uncomfortable there it's a shame cause some of the doctors are great but being misstrwated by office staff and always having to make sure you are not getting charged wrongfully is tiring so unfortunately no I would not recommend them and we are moving our family to a new office

Great Clinic! I have used their Urgent Care which was great and have scheduled my normal non-emergency visits. I have called in for some quick prescription refills and they accommodated my need to rush it though. When looking looking for a primary care doctor, I was recommend by a friend to see Dr. Thayne. He has been great!
