As time passes the skin can accumulate the effects of sun damage: wrinkles, sun spots, and dilated blood vessels. These changes can be safely treated with several non-surgical cosmetic procedures available at our practice, including BOTOX Cosmetic for frown lines; Injectable filler such as Juvederm to smooth lines and wrinkles and raise sunken areas; and Laser treatments to clear facial blood vessels and fade sun spots.
Cystic acne during adolescence and young adulthood sometimes result in acne scarring. These divots, depressions, and areas of discoloration linger long after the inflammation resolves. Prescription topical vitamin A creams, such as tretinoin, work to generate new collagen and soften wrinkles over time.

I have been a patient of Dr Chapas for years. My review comes after experiencing other dermatologists for both medical and cosmetic treatments. Hands-down this is the best experience I could ask for. She always listens to my concerns or issues I want to address and generates a plan for me based on those concerns. I love the results I have from the cosmetic laser treatments I have done. The staff are so friendly and kind. I just walk out of there feeling so refreshed, well taken care of and could not be happier!

Dr. Reese & the Union Square Dermatology team are great at the what they do! I am so thankful to them for helping me along my skin journey. I first visited the office a little under a year ago and after a brief consultation, they created a plan to bring my skin back to life. I have been consistently on their regimen ever since and have felt such a difference in my complexion and my confidence! I definitely recommend Dr. Reese for anyone struggling with acne.

Dr. Reese has been so great to work with. He's a great listener for a motivated patient! This is my first experience with a dermatologist, and from the beginning, he's been so helpful when it comes to understanding my skin concerns and what options are best for me. I have chronic rosacea, so I've been primarily working with Dr. Reese to address my redness and broken capillaries with laser treatments (alongside a topical treatment he prescribed that's been great for inflammation). Appointments are efficient, but the human care is always there. I'm really looking forward to seeing continued results!

I went to Union Square Dermatology 3 years ago. The dermatologist Dr. Anne Zhuang was great. She removed three moles from my back, recommended a prescription for my rosacea, and did a complete mole scan. Last week, I came back and Dr. David Kim was my dermatologist. Unfortunately, I can't say the same things about him. The consultation lasted 15 minutes with a laser treatment included.

He didn't do any mole scan and he barely checked my rosacea. When I asked him about fine lines about my eyes, he recommended a treatment called Fraxel Dual. He didn't explain it to me: "Look online", he said. After that 10-minute consultation, I wanted to treat my rosacea with a V-Beam laser. I got that laser several times along with IPL: I know the results that I can get from one treatment.

In this case, I lost $500. The setting wasn't right and the red spots on my cheeks look the same. I'm very disappointed: he didn't take the time to check for skin cancer, he didn't take the time to check my rosacea, he didn't have the time to explain to me what a very expensive treatment like Fraxel Dual is. I'll find a new dermatologist who has time for me.

I don't do poor reviews and always give the benefit of the doubt. However, I have to give this place a 1 star because of the poor service. I was waiting inside the doctor's office, and I could hear the doctor and the receptionist talk about how they had to rush my appointment for a meeting they had afterwards. The doctor spent less than 10 minutes talking to me about my skin issue.

He seemed like he wanted to get the appointment over with and did not give the proper attention over my reason for the visit. I had to pay over $200 for my appointment on top of the building parking fee.

I love both Dr. Vail Reese and Dr. Felicia Hall. My husband and I have come to them for over 15 years for everything from regular skin checks, to mysterious rashes and even questions regarding options regarding aging and sun damage. I would, and have, highly recommended this practice to anyone Pleasant and organized staff always with a smile. Highly recommended.

The doctors office was a good experience and I was in and out, Dr. Reese is friendly as well. There was a billing issue that I had a problem will and initially was unsatisfied with the service. After some emails back and forth with the billing department that did not seem to go anywhere, Dr. Reese reached out to me directly to ensure that everything was cleared up and offered a refund. Would recommend them!

The front desk is very unprofessional! They successfully took mistakes with patient information so that the pharmacy didn't receive the prescription. I called them multiple times to speak with the doctor from 9am-5pm. The front desk kept saying the doctor was busy with a surgery. My call was answered with great impatience every time. The experience was like in DMV, horrible!

I have had some annoying clear acne bumps on my forehead for over two years and tried what felt like every home remedy, over the counter medicine and diets out there to get rid of them. Dr. Hall prescribed me some ointment and lo and behold, less than a week later, the bumps were significantly reduced. Fast forward 3 months, the bumps are completely gone and my skin has looked better than ever. Not only is Dr. Hall knowledgeable, she's also very down to earth and easy to talk to. Had a great experience and would highly recommend!

Dr Hall and her staff are absolutely amazing and professional. Trying to find a dermatologist in the city can often be a daunting experience, but rest assured, you do not need to look any further. New patients may have to wait up to 3 weeks for an appointment but know that the wait is well worth it and they try their best to squeeze you in, in the event of a cancellation. Please also know they do not try to sell you unnecessary products and services. Thanks!
