Some of the most compassionate people you'll ever meet. After breaking my glasses and calling multiple optometrists in Portland these people saved me. They took care of me within fifteen minutes and were extremely kind on one of my worst days. Thank you so much for everything! 10/10 recommended

Visiting from out of town and forgot my contact lenses. Lisa (the receptionist) was very friendly and helped me transfer and fill a prescription very quickly. Great vibes, would choose this place as my eye center if I lived here.

This place is the best! I love going to my eye exam. Everyone is super knowledgable and welcoming. I love getting new glasses and Carkner's has a great selection of frames. Fran helped me pick out the perfect pair for me!

This was my first vision appointment in a very long time and all of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, as well as very professional and they explained to me what different tests were and what they meant. It was a very, very good experience and I would highly recommend them!

I recently had a really terrible experience at Alberta Eye Care, and came to this establishment in hopes of a better experience. From scheduling my appointment on the phone, to choosing my new frames and lenses, to the final frame fitting.my experience was nothing short of incredible! The environment is warm and friendly, the facility is clean, and the staff was very caring.

I have already recommended this place to numerous people, and will be coming here from now on. They had a great selection of frames, and prices were very reasonable. I am so thankful and appreciative of the care I received here.

Carkner's Family Vision has friendly staff focused on the patient. They take care of all my vision needs very well. The doctors know what they are doing and tell you the straight scoop. I really like their Opto-map technology. It's a specialized camera system that captures a detailed image of your retinas. It's good for showing me what's going on right now, and also comparing to previous exams because they store all images on the computer.

I have been going to Carkner's since the late 1980s. My latest concern is glasses fogging up while wearing a mask. They have a great anti-fog spray made by lense manufacturer Zeiss just for glasses. Thank you Carkners!

Dr. Keely Hoban and Kristy the optician were both very helpful during my visit. Dr. Keely is always very patient and always makes sure I am completely comfortable with my new prescription. Kristy helped me pick out amazing glasses, no pressure and made great recommendations so I would get the most out my new glasses. Not to mention really cute frames!

I really appreciated her taking the time to go over my insurance benefits and giving me an accurate estimate on what I would be paying. Over all great place for exams and glasses. Will be recommending friends and family to Dr. Keely Hoban!

It's always a pleasant experience at Carkner's. The front desk person, Lisa, is friendly, courteous, and professional. This is the first time I met with Emily, and she set me at ease right away. Her manner is cordial and still professional. She gave me the information I needed about the condition of my eyes and was reassuring. She answered all questions thoroughly and in a way that I could understand. I feel completely comfortable recommending Carkner's to anyone for their eye care.

I had an excellent experience at Carkner's Family Vision Center (NE location). Everyone was wonderful! Careful Covid-19 precautions were observed and I felt very safe. Scheduling was easy and I was seen on time. My exam was done efficiently and thoroughly, and Dr. Keely took the time to explain all of my results in a much detail as I wanted. She included important patient education. So glad I chose this clinic!
