I've never been to Dr. Elder for anything too serious, but for the issues I have had, she has been extremely effective and knowledgeable, each time resulting in a very positive outcome. For example, for a recent infection, my family doctor had prescribed a systemic drug which he acknowledged could cause harm my liver or kidney and so needed to be monitored.
I was reluctant to take this potentially harmful drug, and went to Dr. Elder to ask her about laser treatment I had read about. She advised me that actually all I needed was a simple over-the-counter topical ointment. To my great relief, I am using the ointment, so far with excellent results. To me, in this day and age, such people with her knowledge and experience, not to mention integrity and warmth, are priceless.
