If I could rate this any lower, I would. I was scheduled for an MRI on a Friday, and when I arrived they informed me that my test had been cancelled on THAT MONDAY. Nobody bothered to call me and let me know at ANY point that week, and it was a 45 minute drive from my house. Would not recommend for testing.

I would give zero stars if I could. I called to make an appointment and Brittany said the phone connection was cutting in and out. I moved to another room and asked if she could hear me. She said she could hear me better so I proceeded to talk. However, she abruptly cut me off and said that I have to call back when I have a better connection and CLICK.
She hung up on me! This is her job - to be the voice of Associates in Neurology. Her responsibility is to interact with people day in and day out. If she cannot handle talking to people and refrain from being so rude, then a customer-facing job is not the right fit! And if this is any indication of the care I would receive, then I don't want to be a patient at Associates of Neurology!

I went to see my primary for vertigo that came on suddenly and she referred me to Dr. K. Associates of Neurology reached out to me directly (THEY CALLED ME) after receiving the referral from my primary and they scheduled the appointment in their Novi office for the next week. I went to the appointment and checked in, waited an hour and was called back up to the front desk where she asked for my referral. Told her that they had it since they called me directly.
She checked around and told me they would have to reschedule because they didn't have it unless I wanted to pay the $300 to see the Dr, which I did. Once I saw the Dr, he decided to send me for additional testing. I jumped through all the hurdles and a month later I was still having the same symptoms, but my follow up appointment with the Dr was another month away.
I called the office and simply asked if they could find out if there were additional measures or appointments that I needed to take or schedule in the interim because I was still suffering from these symptoms. To tell you that she was confused about what I was asking is an understatement. She eventually called back a few days later and said - "The Dr would like to know what kind of pain you are in because when you were seen you had vertigo"?
I repeated myself, I am not in pain but it is annoying living with the vertigo everyday and wanted to know if there were additional measures that could be taken or anyone else I needed to see. She said ok.and never called me back. I then waited until my follow up, where I met with Dr. K and he confirmed that I have vertigo and need to follow up with an ENT.
Now I a few more weeks to get into a specialist. I am fortunate that I am not ill and appreciate the amount of stress these Dr.s are under, but I would say that there is room for improvement in their process. The first interaction of waiting and being told that you weren't referred there when they called you themselves - was the first sign. I am sure they are very knowledgeable, but I really would have appreciated someone looking out for how to address and take care of my symptoms.

Dr. Bruce Silverman has impressed me with his willingness to listen and actually do work to find out answers to my complicated health history. Sounds basic enough, but too many doctors have not made me feel like they are willing to put in the effort like he has. Dr. Silverman and his staff have also helped refer me/schedule in to see other physicians when otherwise I'd have to wait months to get in. He has also been able to keep up with my appointments during the pandemic through telemedicine and in person appointments when needed.

It is understandable why this office gets so many poor reviews. It is not the office as a whole. It is just the moral incompetence of a few individuals that give this office a bad rep. I have been a patient of Dr. Mark Silverman for over 30 years. I still continually get a hard time when I call to get prescriptions refilled or to make appointments. Always waiting on hold. Sit in the waiting room for 1 1/2 hours to see the doctor for 3 minutes.

Dr. K is the worst doctor no compassion for any of his patients. Even his staff said he doesn't treat his patients with any sympathy. It's awful. Doctors like him don't deserve to practice medicine. Had appt today I had written down the wrong time I advised him I would be 15 min late he said I can't be seen again till after the first of the year. The girls said they were willing to put me in the schedule for tomorrow but he would not allow it. No now I have to find another because I can't wait that long. He can't call himself doctor he's a joke. You don't treat people this way.

Came into the office because I suffer from migraines, the staff was nice and understanding. I had an MRI done here in the office which I thought was helpful for myself. Everyone that I came into contact with had a great attitude and understanding of my symptoms and a true caring to make me feel comfortable while I was here.

I think I can see where people are getting their bad impressions of the staff- I think. But unfortunately, I'm also seeing a fair number of very rude patients. When you don't treat staff like people, why should they treat you nicely in return? I've been coming to see Dr. Warra for six or more years now, and I have only ever had pleasant experiences.
Acknowledge people, treat them with kindness, and see how their demeanor changes. I could say something about the wait time, but if you have any type of neurological issue you want your doctor to be thorough! Bring a book, your phone, some busywork. Don't schedule your appointment for before work! Thank you to Associates in Neurology for all your care.

"We're not just a practice, Were a family", is what you claim on your website. I want to thank you for treating my sister like family. I want to thank the staff for providing exceptional service that has resulted in my sister's hospitalization. Your commitment to her care is the reason she is still there. For the past 4 months, your ability to the communicate with others such as my sister's insurance company and her pharmacist has prevented her from receiving the MS medicine that she still desperately needs and still does not have.
Thank you. I am sure she is feeling like family. Thank you for taking my sister's copays every time she visits the office. I am sure that she appreciates having to pay $40 per visit to be misdiagnosed. I am sure she also still enjoys suffering from neck pain. I am also sure that she appreciates your losing her medical chart, thus further preventing her from getting her medication.
I really hope that her doctor feels that the quarter he spent for his medical credentials from the gumball machine at the corner store was a great investment. I am sure that my sister feels it was, as she lies in her hospital bed. I doubt very seriously that my sister feels like family. Perhaps if my sister's name were Becky or Kimmy, she would. Maybe if she would have gotten the quality of care that she deserves, she would.
Maybe if she would have gotten her medication in a timely manner. Maybe is her name was not Stacha, she would. "Merry Christmas, Stacha, your neck and headaches are getting worse and you had an MS flare up at work today." Yes, that's exactly how I treat family! Thank you Associates & Neurology. You are exactly the type of family that I would want in my time of need!
I wonder how the Medical board in the State of Michigan would respond to the level of services that my sister has received. I wonder if they would feel as if she was treated like family. My guess is NO!
