Stop answering the phone with "please hold" and immediately transferring people to hold. Your front-facing office management practices are losing you patients.

Dr. Davis took care of me my entire pregnancy and delivered my son in 2020. I've also seen Rachael NP a few times and she is awesome, friendly, and very quick. Everyone in the office is super friendly and welcoming to the front desk workers - to medical providers/staff. I'd recommend this place 1,000 times!

Dr. Dausch is one of the very best doctors I've ever seen- across any field of medicine. Not only is extremely knowledgeable but she is also exceedingly compassionate & thorough. She will take however much time is necessary to answer your questions and put your mind at ease. I cannot say enough good things about her and I am thankful to have such an AMAZING doctor!

I have been around the block when it comes to OBGYN offices in Richmond. I had heard so many amazing things about West End OBGYN, but just never went because I preferred midwifery care throughout my pregnancies. Now that that part of my life is over, I'm just looking for solid OB care for my annual visits. I loved this office! Everyone was very nice, the waiting room was spacious, the exam room was small, but cozy and comfortable, and the nurse was great.

I saw Kimberly Earhart because she was the only one with availability that day. It was a quick appointment but I got the result that I wanted. Although Dr. Earhart was nice, I don't think I got the experience that other people have described with the other doctors. I have a followup scheduled for the summer, and I think I'll see if I can check out Dr. Mahoney, Dr. Dausch, or Dr. Davis just to compare and see if I get a warmer feeling.

Really upsetting to learn that this practice is transphobic to their clients. it's extremely important for your employees to be knowledgeable about transgender health care and how they can unlearn their own transphobia. By continuing to pretend that your practice is a safe and accepting place for everyone to receive healthcare (which is untrue), you will only continue to lose more clients. my advice is to educate your employees on this matter, as it is unacceptable to only be educated in the healthcare of cis women.

I have never trusted a doctor like I trust Dr. Earhart. I had been seeing her for my regular checkups for a couple years and then when it was time for me to have my first child. She always answered all my questions, even after working ours, which helped a lot to calm my first time mom anxieties. She always laid out all of my options, told me the benefits/drawbacks to each one and allowed me to choose.

Towards the end of my pregnancy I trusted her so much that I would just ask her what she would do and go with that. When it came time for labor, she knew it was important to me to try to not have a c section and even though I labored for almost 30 hours, she never pushed c-section. Everyone is always shocked that i wasnt pushed more for a csection.

She was always on top of me and my babies health and comfort and made sure to follow through on what I wanted for myself. Dr. Earhart made my first pregnancy experience so much easier than I think it would of been had I had someone else. I look forward to continuing to see her!

The reception area was safe, all were masked and patients stayed socially distant. I am Dr. Dausch's patient and I absolutely love her! Her nurse and everyone in there was vaccinated against Covid and obviously took it seriously. Dr. Dausch is amazing! She takes her time with you, is incredibly kind, listens to you, answers questions and I trust her! I can't imagine a better ladies Dr. I highly recommend her!

West End Ob/Gyn was highly recommended to me to my MFM, but I was very surprised when I called to schedule a new patient consult and was told that they don't do that--that I could only be seen for an annual exam or if I had an active problem/issue. I was hoping to schedule a face-to-face to see if it would be the right "fit" for my obstetrical needs and step through my complicated medical history with infertility, IVF and loss, but I was told this was not possible.

I've never had issues scheduling consults with doctors' offices in the past and was very surprised and disappointed. I was hoping to establish a long-term relationship, and this came across as very transactional.

I see Dr. Mahoney and I love her and all of the staff here. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the front office, calling and scheduling, bill pay, etc. The nurses are wonderful and always make me feel at home. An OBGYN is of extreme importance to me because I have endometriosis, large ovarian cysts, and many issues for this area of expertise. Dr. Mahoney stayed late to perform emergency surgery on a cyst removal. Twice, her staff has emergency scheduled appointments for me while I have been in extreme pain.

I don't know many places that do that. If I were pregnant, I would 100% be comfortable I came to the right spot. Their bedside manner is fantastic. I got very lucky moving to the area and finding this practice and doctor. Thank you for all your help!

Dr Dausch is a great and caring doctor. She did not force me into any procedures or an induction at 41 weeks as long as all was well with my pregnancy (I delivered at 41+1). She was supportive of my low intervention birth plan. I would caution that if you deliver on the weekend and your doctor is not available, you will deliver with a hospitalist.

This ended up being fine as I had a great midwife at the hospital, but it was kind of a bummer to find out during labor since I thought I would see my doctor or someone from the practice (this was the case with my previous OB office in another state. I understand doctors have lives outside of office hours! Just wanted to give other patients a head's up).

Also the doctor on their call/advice line that day was Siobhan Dunnavant who was very condescending and dismissive. She's not part of West End OBGYN, but again it was a surprise to have to deal with her during labor. I also had to pay for a pelvic exam at the beginning of my pregnancy since my insurance is a deductible plan and I am only covered in full for one exam a calendar year and had had one less than 6 months prior.

I expressed this concern to the nurse practitioner I saw for my first pregnancy visit, and she assured me that it was covered as part of pregnancy. I shouldn't have expected her to know what my insurance plan covered, but I wish I would have refused since it indeed wasn't covered and I had received an exam recently. Overall though I will continue to see Dr Dausch and highly recommend her!

Yes. This place. The office runs efficiently and happily. I was seen promptly but never felt rushed. Dr. Earhart is fantastic. If you're looking for a great ob-gyn, here she is. Knowledgeable, clear and kind. An exam and a game plan for my complaint in no time flat. You know it's good care when you want to rave about your gynecologist, folks.

I really want to love this practice, as Dr. Murray is great, but the wait times are outrageous, it is never less than 30 minutes to get called back to your appointment. The nurses and front desk staff are not friendly in the slightest, same goes for a handful of the sonographers. It is never clean or organized, not even close. Plus they take you back two at a time and so I get to get weighed in with another patient. I just don't understand how a clinic with great doctors can have such awful support keeping the practice a float.

I have been seeing Dr. Dausch for almost 11 years now! I might not be alone on this, but having my lady parts inspected is not the most thrilling and enjoying process. Dr dausch has always made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She makes it the easiest experience possible! She always genuinely listens to my concerns and questions and Fully supports any decisions I want to make.

I have seen a few other Dr's at this practice as well and they are great, but no one compares to Dausch. Be forewarned tho- people love her so much it takes a while to get in with her! She better never retire!

Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience here. During my OB appointment I was rushed; spoken over; and my concerns were completely disregarded. As a new mom to be, this was not a pleasant experience. Pregnancy and childbirth should be an empowering experience where your voice and concerns are heard. This was not the experience I had at this practice. As a result, I decided to go with another practice who was patient and listened to my concerns. Unfortunately, I would not recommend West End OBGYN practice.

This place is wonderful. I'm not sure why I haven't left a review sooner. But I've been coming here for 12 years and I see Cherry Jones and Dr. Mahoney. I see them both interchangeably if one isn't available. Dr. Mahoney has delivered both of my children, ages now 11 and 4. Everyone here is always nice, they treat you kindly and most of all the appointments don't feel rushed. I love love this practice! I will continue to come here until they're not here anymore.

I used this office for a few years and the doctors and nurses are very nice and helpful but I changed doctors specifically due to the constant rudeness of the receptionist. Every time I have called to simply make an appointment, I have been talked down to as if I was stupid and did not need to be calling. The last time I called I was told to just leave a voicemail with the nurse because I assume the receptionist didn't think I actually needed an appointment.

I later find out the lady I spoke with didn't even understand the reason I needed an appointment in the first place. ( I just wanted an appointment to talk about changing my medication). It's very sad to have to leave an office with caring doctors because the front desk can not be polite or respectful.

Dr Davis is the absolute best. The entire team is professional, informative, accessible, thorough; can't say enough great things about Dr Davis, her nurse; entire team "rocks". Thanks for all you do to keep me healthy.

Love this practice! I have been going to Dr. Davis for years, honestly was shocked seeing she didn't have any reviews! Would highly recommend her and this practice if you are in the market for a Dr! She doesn't make appointments awkward and is quick at responses or following up! Do your research, you'll see she's the best!

Dr Dausch and staff are all amazing! She has been there through 3 pregnancies and supported my decision to have a home birth with my 3rd child. Now that I am older I know that I am in excellent hands as I am facing surgery due to age related complications. I have also seen both Nurse practitioners and Dr. Davis and they have always provided compassionate and understanding care. I can not rave enough about this practice and if you are in search of the BEST in Richmond then search no longer.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dausch! She is the best doctor I have ever had. She is caring and has amazing bedside manor. She is truly dedicated to her job! You will not be disappointed if you choose this practice. It is THE best in Richmond!

I absolutely love Dr. Mahoney. I went to school at VCU and now live in Arizona. I fly home and make sure to get all my exams done with her while I am there. She has the best bedside manner, really takes her time with you, and is very empathetic. If all OBGYNs were as great as she, all women would be in wonderful hands. Once you see her, you will never go anywhere else. The front office seems a little overwhelmed but Shante Dr. Mahoney's nurse and Dr. Mahoney are 2 blessings!

The staff here are always friendly and pleasant. Dr. Mahoney is great! I'm sure the other doctors are as well, but I've never met any of them.
