In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a multi step process that greatly increases the chance of pregnancy for a variety of infertility problems. Egg freezing, also called oocyte cryopreservation, is a proactive method of fertility preservation. We loved the care we received at RRC. They are very professional and care about their patients. We are so grateful for them and wouldn't have our little guy if it wasn't for all their help. From the front desk staff, to the lab technicians to nurses and doctors everyone was fantastic.

All the way back in 1986, our founding physician Dr. Rodney Lyles established and directed the In Vitro Fertilization/GIFT program at St. Luke's Hospital-Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri with Dr. Jack Betts. Then, in 1988, Dr. Lyles founded Reproductive Resource Center of Greater Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas.
NOTICE: Out of respect for new and current RRC patients, please complete your history by 7:00am seven days prior to your appointment date. Failure to do so will result in your appointment being cancelled and a fee of $50 charged to the credit card on file. We require a 7 day cancellation and/or rescheduling period for ALL patients or a $50 fee will be assessed.
You must call or contact the office at (913) 894-2323 to schedule a telehealth appointment. Patients will be required - no later than the day before the virtual visit- to upload drivers license, insurance card and make some form of payment. 1. 5-10 minutes before your appointment time, access your device, such as iPhone, computer, laptop, tablet, or iPad. You will need a device with a camera, microphone, and good internet connection.

I didn't even make it back to the doctor because the front desk staff was extremely rude and disrespectful from the moment I walked in. I made my appointment 6 months ago and was given a price over the phone and via email, who I could bring with me, and what to expect. When I arrived at the office I was told they might not be able to see me because I did not call them back to confirm.
However if I don't show up they charge me a cancellation fee. She hands me paperwork I have already filled out and sent back via email. And I comply because I would like to see the doctor. I was shamed and talked down to because my spouse could not make it and my best friend came instead. When I brought my paperwork back to the front desk she said we are still checking to see if we can even see you today.
After I go sit back down another front desk lady comes to tell me it was going to cost 4 times the amount I was quoted over the phone and via email. AFTER they have told me I probably can not be seen today. I looked at her frustrated by the situation and said no. She told me she would have to charge me a cancellation fee anyway. She would not let me leave the office until I paid the cancellation fee.
I called the office two hours later to talk to their office manager and the front desk would not send me to their voicemail and said they would take a message and they never called me back. It's been over 7 days now. Going into an office like this is a extremely uncomfortable and frightening anyway without the extra disrespect you receive from the front desk.

I've been a patient at RRC since 2015. I have two beautiful children as a direct result of their care and expertise. They set clear and concise expectations from the beginning, and rooted for us every step of the way. The nurses and staff are genuine and caring and I've been treated with nothing but kindness, respect, and empathy during some of the most difficult years of our lives. Infertility is a merciless experience but I cannot thank RRC enough for giving us the gift of family.

I have been considering to write a review about this clinic since my visit in June 2020. To make long story short, during my second visit, BTW, I had very bad feeling during the consultation too, but I felt I had no choice, this clinic was the closest to our hometown (3,5h drive away). During that visit I was not allowed to express my pain during procedure, Dr Brabec told me " Do you wanna go home and come another day?" this Dr lacks the least sense of empathy.
How she acts made me feel I'm not worthy of even expressing my pain. This Dr is the last one in the world you want to meet in your already tough infertility journey. Do not repeat our mistake, we did not do our homework we choose the clinic based on the location. After this hard experience we were very careful and went to another clinic, 6h drive but it was totally worth it.
I got all the respect and support a patient needs in such vulnerable time, and we became pregnant from the first trial. I'm now 30 weeks pregnant. I reported Dr Brabec behaviour to my insurance and filed a complaint! It was a horrible and terrifying experience the least to say about my encounter with that Doctor and clinic! Be aware you will only regret and base your choice on quality service not location and convenience. Drive extra miles because it's not worth it. BTW, even their success rates are horrible, you can easily check it, you will be shocked how bad that place is on every level!

Beware Husbands when going here. Once step foot in here the husband is an outsider. My wife and i come here for treatment. Was told multiple times they couldn't tell me anything because i wasnt the patient. The couple is the patient. I have never felt so useless in my life. Husbands are just a check book to this place. Not to mention you cant get ahold of anyone. The doctor was very rude with clearly no people skills which is baffling due to this being one of the most stressful times to a couple

We had the most unpleasant experience there and really feel obliged to share with those who's considering getting treatment from this facility. The staff are super cooperative and responsive while we were making the appointment. We really hyped up our hope before we walk in there. However, it's all downhill from there. Our first consultation section was consisted of endless waiting and the impatient, almost insulting attitude of Dr. Brabec.
Later on we were billed for overtime, even though we spent most our time waiting on the doctor. Dr. Brabec had suggested some treatment approaches that are quite different from my current doctor. Since I'm not a medical professional, I won't elaborate on that. ROUGH is the only word I can think of on how Dr. Barbec operated all my tests.

We loved the care we received at RRC. They are very professional and care about their patients. We are so grateful for them and wouldn't have our little guy if it wasn't for all their help. They have built an amazing staff who are passionate, caring, and have a heart to help others! We are looking forward to going back for our next embryo transfer!

Disappointing. We have friends that enjoyed their experience but unfortunately we can't say the same. We felt like they never knew who we were when we came in or properly documented our appointments to better prepare for the next. We expressed our concerns and were met with excuses. They experiences some turn over while we were clients. If you are looking for a caring doctor, Dr. Brabec is not warm and fuzzy.
She gave up on us without providing any closure or alternatives. We found a new doctor that is able to perform the procedure she could not. Schedule multiple consults before selecting your doctor!

RRC has been a huge part of our life for the past 4 or so years. We have had no luck having a successful pregnancy locally and we decided to travel 4 hours (one way) to go to RRC because we were so pleased with our initial appointment. Dr. Brabec is fantastic, straight forward and to the point and was helpful in getting us to where we needed to be to have a successful pregnancy.
Their front staff are the sweetest, most genuine people I've ever met and the rest of their staff/nurses/techs are so great. We now have done IVF twice and have two beautiful babies from them. I refer anyone going through infertility to have an appointment with them.

Dr. Brabec knows what she is doing and the nurses at RRC are incredible. I think the nurses make the place and do an excellent job of not treating you like an ordinarily patient, they are personable and they truly care. My nurse made me feel like I was in good hands and Dr Brabec knew exactly what I needed to do to get pregnant. After completing one full cycle of treatments I got pregnant. I highly recommend this place for anyone that has fertility issues and is tired of feeling tossed around.

From the front desk staff, to the lab technicians to nurses and doctors everyone was fantastic. Over the span of the 8 years we spent with them we received nothing but the best of care. I always felt that they cared about us as individuals, and that our plan was tailored to us and that we were never lost in the shuffle. I can't thank them enough for giving us our 2 miracle babies: one as a spontaneous pregnancy 7 years ago (go figure) and our most recent one as a embryo frozen for 6 years. This place is top notch and I'd recommend them to anyone!
