I have asked for my daughter's paper works for her daycare twice now and this practice just upsets me every time. The first one took a week and half to get a hold of them only to be told that my daughter had to be seen. Mind you, this has been a week and half since i requested her documents, they never told me about that, then they told me there's no available appointment and was going to push me for the next week when I was supposed to start with my job. Had I known that was the case, I would have set an appointment for it or better yet, go somewhere else.

It was close to not being able to get back to work and potentially lose my job then and also my daughter's spot at the daycare! I called multiple times and all they said it wasn't done yet. Second time that I asked, is now. I called 2 weeks ago. They said they don't need to see my daughter but will take 48 hours max and that they will call me when it's ready. it's been 2 weeks, never heard my phone rang to a call from them.

I had to call multiple times to see if it's already done. still not, until today. When you call them and tell them how upset you are with their services, they'll just say a bland ungenuine sorry. I think Dr. Toland is a wonderful doctor but his staffs are the WORST! I can't wait to transfer my daughter to a better place.

Been going to this location for years and this is the first time I've had trouble with the staff. I saw the doctor on 3/17. We got the prescription but my insurance wouldn't allow me to get it. I called the following day and spoke to Martin. He said he would give the doctor the message but she was on vacation. I asked if her nurse could handle it instead and he said yes.

Since it was the weekend, I called back Monday. Let me tell you, its been a back and forth trying to get someone to get my daughter's med. I spoke to Destiny, who was very nice and helpful, and since the doc was out she gave it to another doctor in the office. I am shortening this because its Friday 3/25 now and a lot has happened in between. Dr. Maria was supposed to give me another prescription, whom I spoke with yesterday, and she said she would send it in. NOPE!

I call the pharmecy and nothing had been sent. I call the office today to get some answers because now I'm REALLY MAD. Spoke with a woman named "Jordan" who told me she would leave a message. She also told me someone would call me back after 1 today. 2:30pm came and nothing so I call back and I speak with Martin. I told him I left a message with a woman named "Jordan" and then he said, "There's no one who works here by that name".

So now I'm confused and told him well either she left already, or someone LIED to me. He said, "ok I know who you spoke to. Can you hold please". I hold.for like 10 minutes and nothing. Hung up, tried 3 more times but no one answered the phone. Someone needs to be fired!

Second time now I've been waiting on the phone for 20 minutes or more. Drs are great, front staff is okay. But seriously, does anyone pick up the phones here?

Love Dr. Toland and his staff. They've provided great Carr to all three of my children and followed them from birth at Chesapeake General all the way until they age out for f tge practice. I appreciate the attention Dr. Toland gives to my children and their medical needs. Thanks So Much!

Been here for 5 years and starting to look for a new place considering they dont plan on going back to appointments on saturdays. That was a big plus to me. Suoer hard to get the lateer appointments and the last 2 appointments were not the best. Starting ti look for a new office if they dont start opening back up on Saturdays

When looking for a down-to-earth, professional environment with a friendly staff who cares about your little one's well-being and health, North Shore Pediatrics makes an excellent choice. My family trusts Dr. Toland and his team, and we plan to enjoy a long-term relationship with them! Nurse PJ made it very comfortable for me while giving my grandchild her vaccines. She's very knowledgeable and extremely sweet with her. Thank you for all you do!

Been taking my son there since we moved here last year, been trying to get ahold of someone at the office during their hours that they are open and no one picks up the phone! Also the guy doctor there told me straight up my child was fat ( he just turned a year) and made me feel like a terrible parent, and once we went there again the next month the gal doc said my kid was underweight. She was a lot nicer then him and gave me tips and suggestions.

We switched to North Shore from a much larger, more well known practice and have had an excellent experience. The staff is so kind and helpful (even on the phone!) We love Dr. Bunkley. You can tell that she loves her patients. She is always thorough and takes time during visits to answer our questions and address concerns. Shannan, the clinical coordinator, is a rockstar.

She goes above and beyond always. At our last visit, she came in to help while I was trying to give my 4 month old daughter a breathing treatment. I'm a new mom. I was feeling anxious and my baby girl was screaming because she didn't like the mask on her face. Shannan brought in a calmness that I needed in that moment. I don't even think that's in her job description, but she did it anyway.

No practice or doctor is perfect. There will always be things that we'd like to be different. But if you're looking for a practice with a smaller, family feel to it, North Shore is a great option!

I've been taking my son here since he was about 6 months old, but it's past time to move on at this point. The wait times are INSANE and there is no reason for it. People have been complaining about this issue on here for months, and instead of either scheduling fewer patients or becoming more efficient, no one seems to care. I showed up 20 minutes early for my son's appointment in case there was paperwork to fill out so they wouldn't be waiting on me, and instead I end up waiting 25 minutes past my appointment time.

Finally decided just to walk out and find somewhere else to have him seen. I kept coming back because I really like the doctors here, but I work full time and I don't want to keep having to take extra time off because they can't stay on schedule. Unless you are the first appointment of the day, expect a very long wait. Your time is not valued here, but the doctors will be kind and informative if you ever get to see one.
