Joseph P. Goodson has specialized in orthodontics in Austin and Round Rock for more than 40 years. Dr. Goodson received his Master of Science in orthodontics from Washington University in St. Louis in 1976, and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville in 1974.

We highly recommend Dr. Goodson and his amazing staff for their expertise and skill in orthodontics! Every step of the process was professional and made as easy as possible. He is extremely detailed oriented and that shows beautifully in the smiles he helps create and how your bite feels and functions. The estimated time he gave for treatment was spot on if you are diligent to wear your rubber bands and do your part in the treatment. It is such a blessing to have a fantastic smile since it is one of the first things people see and we thank Dr. Goodson for helping us make that happen!

I do not recommend this orthodontist. He messed my daughters teeth up after surgery and I had to revisit the surgeon and he was well does not recommend Dr. Goodson. He even left leftover glue on my daughter's teeth. Very rough on the teeth, bad customer service and I all around do not recommend this orthodontist He doesnt know about the new technology and needs to go back to school pretty much.

I have been and am still very pleased with my experiences at Goodson Orthodontics. They have made my ongoing braces treatment much more bearable than I would have thought. Ms. Patty and Ms. Suzi are always kind and friendly and I really enjoy how social they are. I would highly recommend Dr. Goodson's services to family and friends.

Our entire family has been to see Dr. Goodson, and we are still going. My husband went about 15 years ago, then my daughter, my son and me. My husband and daughter both have their braces off, I have mine on, and my son is in the process. Dr. Goodson is very knowledgeable in his field and is very accurate. The staff is amazing. They are always friendly, and cheerful.
We know several friends who have used Dr. Goodson and they feel the exact same way. We tell all our friends to go here whenever we have the chance. Trust me, it is worth the time, money, effort and drive if needed.

My daughter first used Dr Goodson at age nine for a crossbite and we were referred to him and loved him then. At 12 we found out she needed braces and we had moved from Pflugerville to Kyle and still drove the hour to see Dr Goodson because we loved him so much. But the office staff and the orthodontist assistants really are the cherry and whip cream on top. Suzi is the greatest! Go see Dr Goodson and staff, you wont be disappointed.
