In 1943, a group of Central Missouri physicians concerned about the lack of hospital facilities for their patients, met to discuss the possibility of building a hospital. They planned for and raised funds to build Charles E. Still Osteopathic Hospital. Developing the first hospital-based home health agency in Central Missouri in 1984 and the first state and federally funded skilled nursing facility in 1985 are just a couple examples of Still Hospital's continued commitment to providing quality healthcare to the citizens of mid-Missouri.

This notice explains what happened and the steps CRMC is taking in response. The investigation concluded that an unauthorized third party gained access to files containing personal and health information.

It was clean. Other than that, the whole experience was terrible. I drove 1 1/2 hours, as this was the hospital I was referred to from my PCM. The week prior the receptionist called and said my appointment was at 1:00pm. We got there on the day of our appt to the orthopedic clinic, and was checked in at 12:40. I sat in the waiting area until 1:25, then walked up to the desk, and then the receptionist said that my appointment wasn't until 1:40.
I told them I drove from 1 1/2 away. Why would I show up an hour early?, To double check. And if it was, why didn't the receptionist mention it when I checked in an hour early? So, I sat until 1:40, and still nothing. Finally, at 2:10, they call me back. The nurse was short and had no manners. Dr Gupta was the Dr we were seeing, and his team did not request any of the X-rays or ultrasound that we just had 2 weeks ago at the hospital that referred us here, so they re ordered all of that, so they could charge my insurance for the same stuff, instead of just requesting the files from my hospital. Horrible experience. You are better off going to Springfield Children's Hospital. Our experiences there have been much better.

Was there for rehab after surgery early December & then again in the ER on the 23rd ultimately admitted to the 3rd floor. All my care & interactions with Dr's, nurses, OT, PT was wonderful. I am a retired nurse. I know what's good & what is not. No complaints from me. Only place I turn too. Thank you all for all your hard work.

One of the best healthcare provider facility in Jefferson City. I have been using Capital Region Medical Center since 1990s and have never had any issues with them. In particular, I am grateful to their billing department for working with me to pay bills. The doctors, nurses and other healthcare professional are simply exceptional. I think we, in the Jefferson City area, are lucky to have access to such facility. God bless them all and thank to them for choosing to serve in our community.

If I could give minus 10,000 stars I would. The most horrible place from the emergency room to clinic and lab. My daughter had a miscarriage last week the ER was absolutely horrible disregarded her symptoms sent her home and second visit left her in the waiting room when she had miscarried her baby. Absolutely the most inhumane, unprofessional, unfeeling and disgusting people I have ever seen!

I had to wait 5 months to get an appointment with a gastrointestinal Dr. I finally get an appointment for today, Dec 29th at 3:30. I arrive to find out it's for tomorrow, not today. Yesterday I get a robo call asking me to confirm my appt for TODAY. Two days ago crmc called me again.to confirm for TODAY! I told them I have another dr appt for tomorrow so I can't make it then.
They asked me to change my appt for tomorrow. Why should I change my plans because crmc can't schedule correctly? She went to reschedule my appt. It would be ANOTHER 5 months. I told her to just forget it. This after I spent 4 days there for covid in October. It took them two days to get me my blood pressure pills I have to take daily. Do not go to crmc!

New to the area and called over the summer to secure a normal yearly appt. I set it with Dr. Blanchard for their soonest available December 23rd which is today. I got a call yesterday that their system is down and they had to cancel my appt which I understand things happen. They had no idea when I would be able to be scheduled again and would have to call me back when their system was working.
I called back to let them know I have a few medications I'm on, that are out of refills because I need my appt to get them refilled again. They took my information and said someone would call me back. Later that day someone did call and took down my prescriptions and previous dr info to pass on. I had requested my medical records to be faxed when I made the appt which shows I have been on these meds for years.
I get a call this morning the day I'm supposed to be seen and she tells me Dr. Blanchard doesn't feel comfortable re filling my medications without seeing me even though they cancelled my appt and have no idea when I can be seen. They have no empathy about it and suggested I contact my old doctor which I already had and they won't re fill unless I have an appt with them.
Very unprofessional and doesn't make sense. I will be looking for another location and doctor to establish care with because I feel Dr. Blanchard and the staff do not care about the patient and do not put the needs of the patient first. I will be escalating this complaint.

If I could give it zero stars I would. You guys need to be a little more lenient with your visitor policy. I have a loved one in the ER and drove all the way from Columbia to visit this person. When I got to the ER first thing I'm told is I can't see my loved one because of the one visitor policy. They didn't seem to give two s**** about myself being emotionally distraught either.
So I guess you guys really don't care too much about people if you don't let sick or potentially dying folks see their family members. Hate this place. Would rather die on the street than be taken here if it were me.

I don't understand why people leave horrible reviews. I have never been unsatisfied with any services my kids or myself have received. I always find the staff very friendly, great bedside manners. The rooms are large and easy to move around in. This is my first choice hospital and treatment center! Keep you the great work CRMC staff!

Went and tested positive for Covid. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Every staff member I met was a superhero in their own right. They made sure I was taken care of. My nurses were outstanding never let me down and mad sure I had everything. This time in the world we need our nurses and medical staff. Without you all we would not appreciate the job you all do daily. This is why people should not be so close minded and show all the respect we can to these individuals that are risking their lives for us Sus. BIG THANKYOU

I've had 2 surgeries at Capital Regional Hospital this year and I had the very best care. I was treated with respect and they answered my questions very thoroughly. Everything was on time. I couldn't have asked for better care. Dr Wilhelm and Dr Deffenbaugh for my surgeries were great and very caring as well.
