As soon as I walked into the building, I was overcome by comfort and warmth. From those at the front desk to the nurses, the staff at Codman not only work efficiently, but work with empathy and genuine care. After getting an injection of a med, Nurse Claire, said, "Just remember, we're always here for you".

I had three back to back appointments and had a very short wait time for each. All technicians were friendly and thorough. To add icing to the cake I was offered a Covid-19 booster shot of which I did get! Thank you for the positive experience!

The front desk staff are always polite. They are under extreme pressure at all times dealing with people who arent always the nicest when they are seeking medical attention. Dr Tobian is also awesome!

Staff are very professional and thorough I appreciate how kind and helpful staff are. Good place to get care!

Grateful for all the staff here from the front desk receptionist super helpful and friendly and the staff who set up my appointment same day! Then Dr Absi was incredible! Super respectful and caring truly a great human being. Knowledgeable and professional he will be an asset to any facility he works with. Oh and the aid he was working with was an angel. I apologize for for forgetting her name.

I seriously love the Codman Square X Clinic & the people who work here! It used to be close to my apartment but even now that I've moved an hour away, I still make the drive to come here because I prefer it over anywhere else. I love that they offer walk-ins since I'm not a planner. Plus everyone is so nice, from the front desk people to the people who check you in to the NPs to the lab techs.

I specifically had a wonderful experience with an NP (her name was Johnna I think? Sorry if I got that wrong!). She was so kind & obviously knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions thoroughly, telling me there are no stupid questions, & took the time to explain everything. They were busy but she didn't rush me, she really made sure I got all the care & attention I needed - it was so appreciated! Thank you, X-Clinic! You guys rule!

My evening visit to the urgent care clinic was surprisingly quick. The staff was very professional even going the extra mile to accommodate me. I was very pleased.

I absolutely love the Codman Sq. health center! I have never felt more cared for as a patient. The medical staff always goes above and beyond to make sure that they have done everything they can for me and that all my questions are answered. 10/10 service every time.

I am living In the Dorchester area for about three and half years now, and I wish I should have visited this facility sooner. My experience was super smooth, and I wanted to be seen in Urgent Care. Wait time wasn't long and I was seen quickly with required medical attention. I recommend this place for the experience.

This is one of the best Health Centers I have been to. Everyone that had anything to do with me was simply amazing and friendly too. The Providers are knowledgeable and connect with the patients very well. They make you feel better before the medications start working. It is a 4 star rating for me knowing full well that there is a room for improvement.

I love Codman Square Health Center because I use all of their departments and the doctors and staff are able to keep track of my health holistically. They are top notch physicians, nurses, student practitioners, and support staff. I haven't had a single bad experience since coming to Codman in 2017. Love it there!

Went into the Russell Auditorium and the staff were professional and help me to obtain the COVID-19 testing that I needed. The whole process was very organized.

Andrina from scheduling is very rude and unprofessional. This employee hung up in my face several times, spoke to me me a rude manner, and did not fulfill my needs as a patient. Unfortunately now I no longer feel comfortable as a patient at Codman Square due to Andrinas behavior. Thank you

Great place for comprehensive care though PCP, Psych, dental, urgent care, etc. The team of providers I found here are amazing and by all accounts life-savers. So grateful for the truly great people here!

My old dentist wanted to do a root canal on a tooth of mine, but when I went to see Dr. Inje Ham, she took the time and fixed the tooth with a cavity fill instead-not a temporary one but a permanent one. It's been over a year now and the tooth is doing great. So refreshing to find a dentist who does what is best for the patient and not looking to take advantage of them. If you're looking for a competent and honest dentist look no further. I'm 50 years old and she is the best one I've ever had. Dennis

Urgent care patient, my 1st experience with Codman: great customer service (from initial call to doctor and everyone in between was friendly and efficient), very good medical care, and fast (30 mins start to finish without an appointment). *Update. I have since made Codman my primary care provider and am very pleased. From front end to doctor's exam to lab work, results and feedback (patient portal), the clinic is one of the best in the country. The only negative is that I've been unsuccessful scheduling a behavioral health visit.

This health center has been incredible during the pandemic. Anytime I've had to get tested for work, travel, etc, there have been no issues. Easy to get in touch with, easy to schedule, and quick turn around for results. They also offer all of the vaccines available for Covid and let you pick which one you want to take. They have partnered with Boston Medical Center and you have actual staff and nurses from BMC administer, collect, and report back the results.

My chart is easy to use for electronic access. I honestly have to say that during a time when hospitals are at capacity all over the country, and healthcare workers(THANK YOU All) are bearing one of the worst known burdens in modern history, Codman Square Health Center has done a stellar job of providing safe, clean, and accessible support to communities of color in Boston. Thank you.

I tested for covid around 8/27 at this clinic. This place is a mess, long story short O waited a week for covid results from these clowns. At that point, they could have kept it themselves since I had no use for their help in the end. I waited the week and went to bmc to get tested, and got the results from them the same day. My advice, go to bmc ER. Waits are long but quick results. Nobody has time to wait a week for covid results, codman sq, what are yall even thinking with that? Smh its a joke.

Codman Square Health Center is the clinic I chose for my health care for a reason: they are great there. Very friendly and competent especially my provider Dr Pamela Adelstein. I feel very well cared for. Thanks everyone on CSHC. You ate the best! Nina Lopes

There is a lot of improvement that need to take place. 5 stars for location although I'll give it 2.5 for parking. I feel it's not necessary to have an appointment due to the fact that the fifteen minute grace is only applicable to them. If you more than fifteen minutes late the recommend you to reschedule. Although if ur on time u can wait more if not excessively.

They have awesome providers but at times once in the room I feel rushed. The schedules are off ( example I was scheduled for one thing even tho I asked for something else). And urgent care is not so urgent. I called due to my daughter having flu like symptoms and I received a call back from urgent cate on call doctor three days later. By that time she was fine.

So as far as time management and communication on services and service times the rank poorly in my book. Providers and location are superb even though they may change them at the last minute

Covid testing was quick and easy! They used the self administered swab tests. Staff was very nice and the office felt very safe with plenty of barriers in place and masks strictly enforced. They do have parking but it's limited so if you have an appointment make sure to leave time to wait a few minutes in the parking lot, or find street parking (there is plenty near by)

Service is so much better. Went in for a mammogram and was in and out in less than 40 min. 3-5 yrs ago the appointment would have taken no less than 2 hrs. Thank you for the changes.

I needed to make an appt with someone, in order to be cleared for eye surgery, to be done elsewhere. The eye surgery place implied that I needed an 'internal medicine' type doc, or someone that would be able to give me a 'general physical'.to say that I'd be ok for surgery. So I called Codman Square, telling them I was looking for a FEMALE doctor and who could give me a checkup for a pre-surgery clearance.

We set the appointment, and then a few days prior, I get an automated message to confirm my supposed 'telehealth' (or, VIRTUAL) doctor's appointment. Problem is, I had made it very clear to them that I needed an IN-PERSON appointment.that this was for surgery pre-clearance. (Last I heard, a doctor cannot check your pulse over a virtual appointment.;) ) So I called them back, and they said the doc I wanted to see had no availability for an in-person appointment, and before my surgery date.

So I asked that they look for a different female doctor. They found one, set up a date for an IN PERSON visit, and the day before I called to confirm all was good. They said it was. So I show up for my appointment. The place didn't appear to be crazy busy or anything. I had to wait about FIFTY MINUTES for the doctor to appear. Ends up.they gave me a MALE doctor. So twice they messed up the details of my appointment. That said, everyone I deal with there in person, was nice enough.

For you all to keep complaining about this clinic it is sad. They are busy they have other patients, things happen, people have other emergencies as well. You can't expect to go there and be seen right away. I just transferred there and had the best treatment ever. I have not been seen for over a year at another clinic I came here and never complained. When you all keep leaving bad or negative reviews and they close the place down you all will complain about that too.

This place is a complete joke. Nothing but unprofessionals. My wife went to get tested for COVID19. She was given the swab to do herself where she was told to swab her nose. From my understanding a medical "professional" places the swab through the nose first, then it is pushed to the back of your throat. The swab is then rotated to collect any viral specimens that are usually found in that section.

Last time I check, my wife is not a Doctor or a registered nurse and should not be administrating the test herself. I will be notifying The Department of Public health and the Mayors office

General Practice Dr Schlotterbeck is a basic doctor, go to her for a cold or cough, she'll fix you right up.other than the basic care GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Also Mimi is the only person in Behavioral Health.they couldn't find anyone else to cover the person who left so she got chosen even though she's not qualified. I've waited 2 business days and neither returned my call.

They don't listen to you, they cut you off bc they're in a hurry to get rid of you.thinking they know better and don't even try to pretend they care. Now it's the weekend and I don't know how I'll handle my suicidal thoughts on Mothers Day and where do I go tomorrow? Not back to them:

Been at this clinic since I was a child now I bring my children here but this place is going down. You have to wait a year for your doctor's appointment then if you have to get a refill fuck that's another year. All those people behind there for what waste of time. You need to make sure you get to the clients make them happy instead of cussing mad clients

HATE! This place is unorganized and ran by mostly ignorant people. They r rude and have bad attitude. My 9 month old daughter, her father and I were there for a check up, arriving at 4:15 seeing her appointment was at 4:30. After her appointment the her doctor told us she needed to get blood drawn at the lab so we headed over there. The lab is in the same building.

When it was time for us to be seen the lady stuck my daughter in the arm and proceeded to twist the needle in her arm. I told her she was doing it to hard and she continued to tell me that's how you get the blood going. As she said that she jabs the needle and near vertically in her arm. At this point I tell her to remove the needle and get away from my child. Let's just say my baby left with a bruised arm and cried herself to sleep. I recommend if you do go to this clinic make sure that the heavyset Haitian lady doesn't touch your child.

A medical records request was submitted to the health center on January 14, 2019 by an insurance company as part of a long term disability claim I had filed. I was notified by the insurance agency that, as of February 22, 2019, these records have not been received, that the deadline for submission is March 8, 2019 or my claim would be dismissed. I filed a complaint with the health center, and received a call today from the health center explaining that the medical records requests were being handled by an outside agency, and to contact them on the status. I contacted the agency, and was told that the request submitted on January 14th was "still being processed"? I am beyond annoyed by this!

This place has horrible service majority of the time. Previously, I've waited for over 45 min to be seen after arriving earlier than the scheduled appointment time. If I didn't speak up then I don't think they would've called us in only to tell us my son was not supposed to be scheduled yet. Therefore we needed to reschedule. Today, specifically, I went in with my son again for the appointment I scheduled well in advance.

He was told that his appointment with the Dr. was canceled but that he has another appointment on Tuesday with his regular Dr. When I asked who canceled and why, no one knew. Not only did no one call to notify us but they took it upon themselves to reschedule to a very inconvenient. So I wasted my time once again. This is a shame because I really like Dr Huang, the reason for the second star, but unfortunately will be leaving the center.

First time someone has actually gone above and beyond was today for me. Ayanna (BH department) give her a raise! I didn't get her last names super helpful although my problem wasn't solved I do believe she will try her best. Thank you

This place is #1 in health career! I've been there many times. I love how they have the waiting rooms so that way, we could be patient while the doctors get ready. What a peaceful and lovely place.

It pains me to write this. I truly love codman square health center and it is a vital part of the community.

I am at Codman Square Health Center right now and I am disappointed in their care of patients. I just fell on their stairs it was greasy. Their was no sign their to tell patient to be careful. I hurt my left side and leg. The security guard saw me fall because he was going up the stairs as I fell down the stairs. I went to their urgent care secretary and I told her what happened, the guard also told them that I fell.

Instead of helping me and trying to find out what happened or where I am hurting. She was rude and callous and told me with out my health insurance information they were not going to see me, A nurse came out of urgent care area and reiterated what the secretary told me. The security guard did not ask me my name or any of my information. I am upset about their lack of understanding for what happened. They did not apologize and was not compassionate.

Love my doctor which is why I still go there! They are extremely unorganized, I do not like putting down places in my community but I have been going there for 20 years and every time I go it's a different process just to get registered. I have been here for 15 minutes and I have not even been registered yet ( plus the waiting time I'll have after I get registered to see the doctor). Not to mention the fact that this is my third appointment that they have either cancelled or rescheduled.

If you can stand utter incompetency and lack of professionalism then Codman Center is for you. This center creates more ills than it provides "care". Incomplete registrations, doctors forgetting that one still is not discharged after being an hour in a room, call center staff forwarding your phone call to a dead end because it's 5pm and they don't want to spend the extra time to put you through to the right department, doctors late for appointments taken weeks in advance, lack of accountability from the customer service supervisor.

And the list goes on. This place is an embarrassment to the Community in Dorchester. or perhaps it is what Dorchester best deserves. Whatever the case maybe, a place I would recommend anyone to stay away from.

When I went to urgent care after spending 4 hours at bwh and had to leave. At 830 a.m. staff was freindly. There was a sign that said if you have trouble breathing tell the secretary I did Was put I a room immediatley! As I have asthma and allergies. And had a sinus infection. Nurse put in my prescriptions fast! Gave a treatment with a nebulizer immediately and a note for work.

She was freindly fast and efficient! Joan Delanay. Took good care of me. I was out in less than 45 mins. She diagnosed me so well I was sick and clogged up for a week. The medication had no side effects and I was better in less then 4 days. And back to work. I WOULD CHOOSE THIS CLINIC OVER ANY OF THESE BIG HOSPITAL TRIAGES. BWH THE NIGHT BEFORE MADE ME wait 4 HOURS AND I COULD NOT BREATH. THEY.HAD THE NERVE TO ASK ME TO SIGN A FOR saying they STABILIZED ME AND I LEFT VOLUNTARILY. NEVER SIGNED. URGENT CARE DOCTOR.JOAN THANKS!

Dangerously incompetent office staff. Don't get me wrong, every doctor I've seen has been great. I've seen several doctors in the 7 years that I've been going here. It's the office staff that's the problem. I can handle that they aren't friendly or professional. I've come to accept that I will be left waiting long periods of time for my scheduled appointment that I had to schedule 6 weeks in advance.

I even shook off the times that I showed up for appointments that they lost due to "the new computer system" which has either been replaced multiple times or has been "new" for 5 years. What I cannot accept is having to call two or three times to get prescriptions refilled, especially when it's the prescriptions that let me breathe. Then to top it off, when they finally DO call in my prescriptions, they send them to a pharmacy I haven't used in 5 years!

It's sad I have to write this but Ooooo well. I am 30years old and have been going to codman square from the I was a baby, when it use to be a lil brick building. I have came to the understanding with myself that I have to move on to a hospital! From the lack of customer service, to they new phone system that sucks, to them shutting down eye care cause they were so called renovating and for always having to book out a month away. I am beyond annoyed and it's just sad I have to find a new place to go too.
