Physiatric Pain & Med Rehab The Physiatric Pain & Medical Rehabilitation Clinic (PPMRC) is a full service Pain Management Clinic founded by Dr. Nnamdi C. Nwaogwugwu, M.D. in 2002. Our mission as a medical practice is to provide professional, comprehensive, compassionate, excellent and cost-effective medical care to all injured patients.

Dr. Nwaogwugwu, a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist who is also a Northwestern and Mayo Clinic alumnus is uniquely qualified to evaluate all musculoskeletal injuries which may arise and develop a patient specific, detailed treatment plan to limit pain, and disability and improve his patients quality of life.

The Physiatric Pain and Medical Rehabilitation Clinic (PPMRC) specializes in the evaluation and treatment of non-operative musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, workers compensation, and injuries related to motor vehicle collisions.
The Physiatric Pain & Medical Rehabilitation Clinic has medical expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Carpal tunnel syndrome is the most common nerve (Median Nerve) entrapement syndrome. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a condition that causes annoying hand and arm symptoms like numbness and aching.
A common cause of shoulder pain is soreness of the tendon (a cord that attaches a muscle) of the rotator cuff (the part of the shoulder that helps circular motion). Another common cause is soreness of the subacromial bursa (a sac of fluid under the highest part of the shoulder). You might have soreness after activities such as painting, lifting or playing a sport, which require you to lift your arms.

I have been a patient of Dr. N's for many years. He is everthing you want in a doctor. He listens & cares. These qualities can't be taught they are just who he is. I definitely recommend him! SN: His nurse is amazing also!

I really enjoyed my visit to the PPMRC. The doctor was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. His approach to my condition made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. The staff was very friendly as well. I will definitely be back.

They let me come in early and I was seen very quickly. The doctor thoroughly explained everything he was going to do and staff was courteous. The facility is beautiful and very relaxing.
