The logistics of scheduling an appointment and the billing after are terrible. I went through the trouble of scanning my drivers license and insurance card, filling out the patient paperwork, and uploading it all prior to my appointment like I was told. When I showed up to my appointment, I had the pleasure of getting to show my license and insurance card, and filling out all of the paperwork again.

I then got to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time before being taken to my room. What a waste of time! I then had the doctor spend 5 minutes tops with me and hurriedly rush off to the next patient. Get a bill, pay that bill immediately. Just to have another bill show up immediately after for $14. I try to call and ask why but am told by a recording that I need to call another number despite calling the number on the bill. Horrible experience.

Daughter was seen here for her knee, Dr's were great, very knowledgable, we were seen fast, front staff was friendly. We were also seen on the physical therapy side. The staff was the best, couldn't have been happier. Where this business fails is the billing department, they charged my card without my permission. I never received a bill.

They just charge my card, we contacted the insurance company, they paid in full. I called to get resolved, billing department is third party they don't have permission to refund money, and can't give you the Admins number, they said admin would have to contact us. Been waiting over a week and half for them to contact me. Having to go through the bank to get my money back. Very sad, the staff works hard to make this business successful. The manager over the billing department should be fired. They are the weak link in this business.

I woke up today with the hope that I would have relief from my back pain which has gotten so bad that I cannot sleep through the night. I was wrong. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was referred to this place by my primary care doctor. My appointment was with a surgeon as an MRI revealed I have 3 bulging disks, 2 annular fissures and degeneration he seem very polite said he didn't think I needed surgery so referred me to another physician in the same place and for physical therapy.

I went for an appointment with the second physician and she recommended to continue with my PT which I did, when I told her if there was anything else she could do she said we could do block injections and then an nerve ablation. When I went for my first block injections, I had a reaction to the medication the next day, I called left a message nobody called that day, I also sent a message through the patient portal.no response.

On day 3 someone called my back up number which was my husband's since I wasn't with him he explained what I was going through. On day 4 someone called me using herself as she said my number could not be dialed out of the phones in the doctor's office. The doctor's office personal could not contact me to my cell phone number, I've used this same number for over 20 years and I have been in Texas 14 years I have never had a doctor's office say they could not get a hold of me.

I finally got a prescription to help with the rash that developed from the medication. I've never been to a doctor that had such slow response to an allergic reaction to medication. I went for my second round of block injections which didn't provide any relief. I was scheduled for the ablation the next week so I took time off from work as that would require for me to be sedated.

I show up at the surgical center for the procedure only to find out it had been cancelled. NOBODY called, emailed or text me. When the office opens I get a hold of someone after multiple calls and they advise that since the last block injections didn't provide relief they decided to cancel the ablation. I asked why wouldn't that be discussed with the patient first.they apologized.

They transferred me to speak to medical assistant who was very apologetic. She asked to confirm my number and apologize again, she had my husband's number but nobody called him either so no matter the number or not. NOBODY called. She said we could schedule another set of block injections using the first medication which gave me the allergy but they would pre-medicate me to avoid the allergy or reschedule the ablation. If they could proceed with the ablation than WHY WAS IT CANCELLED IN THE FIRST PLACE? I won't be going back ever again.

I love this place! My son has had 2 fractures so far from sports and there is no other place that I trust like this one. Dr. Kerry Donegan is great, patient, and transparent. Thank you!

Texas Health Orthopedic Surgery Center Heritage used OutcomeMD to measure my symptoms before and during my treatment. My Shoulder Symptom Score was 23 before surgery and my score has improved to 73 so far! Thank you Texas Health Orthopedic Surgery Center Heritage and Dr. Peters for helping me get such a great outcome!

The actual service you receive here is just fine. The problem is with billing. They encourage you to save your credit card to their site to they can automatically bill you for any incidentals after the fact. This would be reasonable if you could reasonably trust that their bills will be accurate. The problem is that after you receive a bill, there is no possible way to ask a question about it.

They have a separate billing company that they contract with who have no way to answer any questions you may have about the bill, and when they escalate back to the main office to actually get an answer, no one will call you back. I got a $68 bill two months after I payed for my visit in full, charging me for a "non-molded cock-up" no clue what this is, but I definitely agree that this is a cock-up of some sort. Tried calling to get this resolved about 5 times now. No call backs, no solutions.

Have had to utilize their walk-in orthopedic services for my daughter twice so far. We've had a good experience both times in regards to the wait time, doctor visit, diagnosis and follow up. This location is clean and has ample seating in the waiting area. The staff is professional and friendly. I'd highly recommend this business if you have need of their services.

The doctor was great, but the billing department is abysmal. There was a mistake in billing, so the office charged my card. I called and got through to a person ONE time out of more than 30 days of calling. They promised to re-bill the insurance and refund my money. That hasn't happened (and this conversation was over 2 months ago). I have left more than 10 messages and no response.

No matter which number I call or which option I select, I can never get a real person on the phone. I do not recommend this office because of the headache the billing department has caused.

I have an issue with what has been entered into my medical records. It was something that was never discussed nor addressed during my appointment and I have been trying to contact someone who can address that. I had a call from who I believe to be their Operations Manager and HR Manager instructing me to call her back. I have left multiple messages since last Friday with no return phone call. Not sure what to do or where to go at this point except to keep going to higher levels in hopes of getting a return phone call to address my concern.

These are the nicest people I've ever gone to. I mean from the front office where you check in to the doctors to the staff. They have replace both of my knees and now working on my back pain and neck pain. I just can't recommend them enough. It's worth the drive from Lewisville over here.

I just have hip surgery this past Monday. Al went great. Dr. Williams is what I will consider a wonderful person and great surgeon. The facility and personnel are very competent. I am glad I choose this facility for both surgeries

I have seen several different doctors at North Texas Orthopedics and every visit has been a 5 star visit. I never feel rushed, they always listen to my concerns and take the time to explain everything to me. I highly recommend NTO&SC.

Worst customer service ever no one from medical assistant to physician assistant knows what's going on with patient. Called numerous times no return calls always passing the buck from one person to the next because none knows what to do. Insurance approved procedures only to get runaround from this doctor Tucker assistant & physician assistant ridiculous how they do patients find another orthopedic place you'll be glad you did.

Seems to have good doctors. Staff is rude likely because of high volume. This place feels like a is a mill and you are a number. The associated rehabilitation that you are pushed to is more personal. Expect a lot of follow up apportionments for no apparent reason.

Dr. Murphy was good but treatment plan took way too long. Had MRI on Thursday and not able to see her until the following Tuesday. My pain level was 10 during that time. I had to seek alternate treatment due to this. No one answers the phone at that office and it took six phone calls for someone to call me back four days later.

Everyone here is incredible! The doctors, nurses, assistants, office staff--they are always incredibly helpful, fast in returning calls and helping out with whatever. They remember you and truly care about you. Highly recommend.

I have been at NTO for two different issues.one a long while ago and one just recently. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Dr. Donegan and his demeanor! He takes time to actually speak with me and explain what we are viewing. The practice is professional and are communicative. I would recommend this office anytime!

The whole family has been going here since forever, it seems. We have no complaints or issues with any doctor, PA, nurse, therapist, office staff or technician. The best thing is the walk-in orthopedic critical care center. A life saver when you need fast and effective care.

I called and asked for a copy of all of my medical records from Dr Tucker, including the MRI. They said I would have to pay for the MRI disc. I agreed. When I picked up my paperwork 3 days later, there was a disc, and notes from office visits, but no radiology report. I was told that because I didn't specifically ask for the radiology report, they couldn't give it to me and medical records had left for the day.

This was at 1pm. The staff at the front desk was rude. If they he just empathized a little, instead of blaming me for not being specific and asking for the radiology report, when I asked for all medical records including the MRI, I may not be so upset. I drove 45 minutes to get here, as I have moved since being a patient here, and now they tell me I'll have to drive back here to get that report and that someone from medical records will reach out to me within 48 hours. That's great!

My appointment with my new orthopedic is in a day and a half at 8am! They wouldn't even tell me the name of the MRI facility that they sent me to so I could reach out to them for the radiology report. Talk about not caring. Every MRI I've ever had comes with a radiology report. Also, why do you have to pay for your medical records, when you've already paid them a ton for your doctors visit!

The front door desk is completely unprofessional and disorganized. I also waited one hour for Dr Briseno who was great but he seemed to be in a rush. I definitely won't go back to this location in Grapevine.

So long story short. I have been a patient here for 15 years. My wife had a shoulder injury and we made a follow-up appointment with Dr. Peters for 11:20 today.it is now 11:58am and still sitting in a room waiting. My other two doctors (Donnegan and Stehly) have NEVER and I mean NEVER had me wait more than 5 minutes over the last 15 years. This is absolutely absurd. My time is just a ms valuable as yours and this is beyond frustrating.

Worst experience ever. I'm sure Dr. Mulligan he's a good doctor, but the incision he made to drain a hematoma became infected. I called the office three times to make an appointment and they didn't not return my call ever. Will never use them again. Will never refer them to anyone.

I saw Dr. Eric Stehly for a knee issue. I was referred to him by my sister who described him as professional, personable, and thorough. I agree with her completely! I felt quite comfortable with him as a doctor and my issue was resolved promptly and accurately. Thank you, and I am happy to have found a great orthopedic doctor.

I got lucky on a Friday evening when Dr. Ryan Mulligan drew my semi-emergency case, a broken femur. Throughout the pre-surgery process, the surgery, and recovery, I was confident and comfortable that I had serendipitously found the right surgeon. Now three weeks later, my rehab is progressing quite well. His office staff is professional, helpful, and pleasant. Madeline Moore, Dr. Ryan's PA-C was very thorough, clear, and personable in the information that she gave me at my first follow-up appointment.

I am new in town and had not yet found an orthopedist to provide continuing care for my, unfortunately, frequent orthopedic needs. Well, now I've found him and will highly recommend him to anyone who asks.

Outside of the MD care, I do not have any positive comments. Accompanied my 18 year old son to an appointment about an issue detected on an MRI and was not allowed to go with him in the exam room. I am in healthcare and understand limiting risk associated with COVID. I do not understand lack of regard for patient experience for a patient that is 18 and living at home vs. 17 and living at home with an injury that would involve surgery.

Person taking him back was unfriendly at best, rude if I am honest. Office unable to provide detailed billing statement for flex spending plans. I am three calls into an overseas call center 2 months after appointment and still do not have detailed statement required.

Dr Bresino was great, but the staff needs massive training. Mainly in communication. Left message of place to send order for CT Scan. Never happened. It took the imaging facility to get the order. Also they never sent the extension for continued home therapy care even after I told the name of the facility.

WTF and my follow up on knee sugary was scheduled by AMANDA whom because of her attitude made me want to look for an different dr which I should have. Had me come in when the dr donagan was not working. OMG

My family has been using this practice for over 15 years. They used to be great, but, obviously things have changed. 1. They finally updated their antiquated billing system, but the new on-line system (Phreesia?) popped up pharmaceutical advertisements while I was attempting to pay a bill. 2. Some of the providers see you once, and immediately hand you off to a PA, and are never seen again. 3. Finally, their Physical Therapy practice has some very talented providers. However, I was evaluated, began treatment and after a couple of visits, they told me that they could no longer treat me as I was within 6 months of becoming Medicare eligible (even though I am covered through my employer's health plan). What!?!

The folks at Medicare never heard of such a thing. It's obvious that this practice is more concerned about their cash flow, then their patient's well-being. I never intend to step foot in there again.
