I actually had no idea when I got refer here that it was most inters. My eyes got dilated for the first time and they never told me I might not be able to drive and to bring someone to help me just incase. I told the person that dilated my eyes that my vision was very blurry if it will get better since i was driving home he said i should be able to drive. I was NOT able to drive I get to the street and i was not able to distinguish the lanes and had to get back in the parking lot i waited 2hrs+ for someone to pick me up.

Absolutely adore the staff and doctors here they do the utmost to ensure quality service and care for their patients. My daughter is special needs and although she needs time they are always able to accomadate and help her get the glasses she needs. Would definitely recommend to anyone, I'm glad we found them through our old optometrist.

Since this is a teaching facility I expected the wait times to see the doctor, the exam itself was very thorough and had a good experience overall with the optometrists. The optical side was another story. They were just getting used to a new system so they were very slow which I understood. The unprofessional bit was that they never followed up on my glasses until I called them two weeks after I placed the order.

The lab had "misplaced" the frames and they had to order new ones. I didn't get my glasses until a month after I first placed the order. Some labs send updates on the status of patient's orders to the optometrist office, but even if they don't, it is the duty of the optical side to call on orders that are taking a while. It shouldn't be on the patient to remind the office to call the lab.

Calling these doctors "eye doctors" is an UNDERstatement! They don't just check your eyes. They check your entire visual system! If you are experiencing complex visual symptoms, this clinic is the one you need! I came here for specialized neurological vision testing in August of 2013. Every test came back normal, which is both a blessing and a curse for me.

I've been going there for about 10yrs now and they're good, BUT reaching them, especially the contacts department, it's impossible! I call during work hours and no one answers the calls or even returns my messages, which really annoys me! Another thing is that they take forever during appointments, a minimum of 2hrs, which is alot! Do they fit you with the correct contacts? Yes, yes they do, but after at least 3 trys.

They're not efficient at all and definitely not my favorite, but in the end, I like the contacts I get. The doctors and students are really nice, si that helps as well, but you really need to be patient with them. So if you have the patience, give them a try, otherwise, find another office.

Seriously, this was the best most comprehensive eye exam I've ever received. The selection of frames and sunglasses is unreal. They've got every top brand including high-end luxury brands.

I've been going here for 10+ years and they are amazing. I would highly recommend if you want a thorough eye exam. The students and doctors are always nice and friendly. I've never had any issues. They also give student discounts! I usually see Dr. Justin Kwan, he is so nice and willing to go out of his way to make sure you have the best care and know how to keep your eyes healthy.

This is the only place I trust with my eye health. A team of students and instuctors help you with a doctors appoval. They are patient, helpful and hi tech. Ketchum even builds you a pair of glasses to see how they compare to your old prescription. They dont have the lastest in fashion glasses but a descent selection. Even if university eye center doesn't have frames I like, I will buy the frames online or boutique shop and have university eye center put the prescription in to insure accuracy.

Dr Kwan and the University Eye Center brought a new opportunity to me that I didn't know I had before. I have a condition called strabismus that I need prism in my glasses to help align my eyes. I use to be a contact lens wearer back years ago but since my condition worsened I can no longer wear soft contacts because they can't craft them with prism.

I was first referred to the University Eye Center by my optometrist Alex Corbin Liu. I went there to get an evaluation on my condition. The sessions went well and they were able to help me understand things better. Later on I met Dr Kwan who specializes in contact lenses and he suggested that I try scleral lenses. This was probably one of the best decisions I've made!

They took some adjusting and getting use to but the scleral lenses from Custom Stable feel great. I was so happy that I got to wear contacts on my wedding day and I am very thankful to Dr Kwan and team for making this happen!
