Our facility is located in the Woodbrooke complex off Route 50 East in Salisbury, Maryland. We bring the latest technology, convenience, and superior customer service to the local medical community.
Peninsula Imaging focuses heavily on its technology to provide the highest diagnostic imaging possible, but it is our team of highly skilled Radiologists who hold the key to providing our patients and doctors with the most effective treatment recommendations. Our Radiologists are board certified, fellowship trained & reside locally in the communities they serve.
MRI, which stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, is a noninvasive medical test which helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. MR Imaging uses a magnetic field, radio frequency pulses and a computer to produce detailed pictures of organs, soft tissues, bone and virtually all other internal body structures.
Computed tomography, also call a CT scan, is an imaging process used to obtain detailed images of the inside of the body. CT uses x-rays and computer technology to make cross-sectional images of the body. A series of x-ray pictures, each a thin slice, are put together in a computer for form a three-dimensional view of the inside of the body.

My issue is not with the staff of the office. My issue is that I received services, never received a bill and later my account was sent to collections. Had I known I had a bill, I would have paid it. I never received any calls or mail to resolve my account. That habit of no contact but sending to collections with no contact with the patient is wrong.
I'd prefer to go to any other imaging center than here because of this. Keep records of your appointments, and call to follow up if needed. Don't let them mess up your credit or reputation!

Scheduled 2 MRI's back to back.had a 4:45 appointment today 5/23/22. Drove 22 miles one way to find the desk person telling me that it was changed to 1:15 today. They told me that they left a message. I informed them I didn't get a call or message. She then said they couldn't do it now and id have to reschedule. Cost me 9 bucks in gas and an hour and 20 minutes of my time. I will NEVER use them again! Inconsiderate and unapologetic staff. Go somewhere else.

Update: at my last visit the Staff from the front office to the back, were excellent Normally I have a great experience, but checkin was so rude yesterday. I faxed my 2 orders a month ago. If it needed an additional test added, that should have been taken care of before I arrived. The Tech was great 5 . I landed up declining the additional testing, because it was not what my PCP sent me for

In 2020 I needed to have three CT Scans done. So far in 2021, one X-ray in February & one ultrasound today March 22, 2021. It then hit me how fantastic these people are. From the nice lady that checked me in without an appointment. I came directly from the Doctor's office not knowing. I was nervous with what the results would be so I babbled a lot.
They obviously knew and put up with me. Even the lady that preformed the ultrasound. They were so professional and kind, not to mention good listeners. I will never go to any other facility for imaging.

Staff is friendly and efficient. The problem lies in the reports generated. More than once, when my scans were viewed by other doctors, key information was missed. No matter how kind and wonderful the staff, that is very overshadowed by the sub-par information in the reports. Always ask for your discs. They are more than happy to make one for you. Get it read by another doctor. The problem has happened enough, it feels irresponsible to not share.

The office is fantastic as is their compliance. The employees are professional, kind, and work in a very timely manner. My only concern is their website. I believe making a patient portal on the Peninsula Imaging site to veiw their exams and any imaging proformed would definitely improve not only the foot traffic coming in to the facility but also lower the use of goods given, thus lowering product cost, when patients pick up the copies of exams. During these difficult times we all must find ways to lower person to person interactions. Please consider.

Every time I have been there, I have found the staff both friendly and efficient. I can't say that is my usual experience at medical offices. The staff there, as they are at other offices, are integral to a positive experience and a surly or incompetent staff member can tarnish the reputation of an office. My experience at Peninsula Imaging has been very good, and I hope they continue their good work!

Walked in to schedule an appointment about a week ago, ended up leaving severely disappointed. This facility was recommended to me by a classmate but if the women at your front desk are going to be this rude, I don't know why anyone bothers with this place. What a horrible first impression. The blonde at the front desk was incredibly condescending and talked to me like I was a complete idiot. Asked to speak to who I suppose was the supervisor of the front desk, EQUALLY as rude and not at all accommodating.
There wasn't even a line and she acted like I was wasting her time and had a bad attitude. Really disappointed. Hope the technologists that work here are friendlier than these people were. Im a SU student and newer to the area but I will definitely be looking elsewhere for my imaging needs. Maybe think about getting some kinder people to make a better first impression on new patients.
