Dr. Curry and his team has been nothing but amazing through my weight loss journey. I was a patient with another Bariatric center and I wanted the Sleeve. I was disqualified for it due to some issue in the esophagus and was pressured into getting a RNY. A surgery I did not want. I found Journeylite and wanted a 2nd opinion on the Sleeve and dr. Curry agreed that it was not a good fit for me.

He listened to all my concerns and gave me other options. I never felt pressured; I felt heard. I decided on the lapband and his insurance team helped me through the whole process. Surgery came and went with no issues. Their surgery center in Cincinnati is beautiful and the staff was amazing as well. Now 4 months later the weight is coming off. Dr. Curry messages me every month to see how I am doing.

How amazing is that! He truly cares. The after care is top notch and I see my team every month and learn something new each time. I saw another review below regarding after care and it depends on your insurance or if you're self pay. I have TWO YEARS of aftercare due to my type of insurance. It is not the facility fault what kind of insurance you carry.

I love this office so much, everyone is so nice and helpful, I had the revision from sleeve to bypass on 4/4/22 and have had the best experience! Dr Augusta & Dr Curry have been amazing on checking on me after my procedure as well. Definitely recommend journey lite

My husband had gastric bypass surgery covered by insurance that paid thousands of dollars for surgery, anesthesia, labs, EKG etc. and was told he had 1 year of aftercare. Well. come to find out, if you have insurance, you are penalized and only get 90 days of aftercare after Journey Lite gets all that money! If you can get better customer service somewhere else. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! THIS COMPANY IS MONEY HUNGRY AND WILL NOT EVEN FILL OUT YOUR PAPERWORK FOR SHORT TERM DISABILITY WITHOUT CHARGING YOU MONEY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I had VSG 12/29/21. Dr. Trace Curry and his staff have been nothing but straight forward, honest, and helpful through this whole process. Preop was explained completely and day of surgery the process was absolutely seamless. The amount of information and caring from the time I arrived at surgery center to the time I left. Attention to detail and addressing everything seems to be number one to every member of their staff.

Each procedure every shot, each medication I was given was explained. Every question myself or my husband had was answered with complete confidence. So far I'm 20 days post op. I've had absolutely ZERO complications or issues. I highly recommend Dr. Curry and Journeylite!

I'm so happy I chose Journey Lite to perform my surgery. The staff and doctors were so nice. They walked me through everything step by step. They made me feel comfortable, and put my mind at ease. I had the gastric sleeve surgery, and I didn't have any problems. I felt great, and I even saw little changes 2 weeks after surgery. I have no regrets, and happy I made the chose to have surgery.

Had gastric bypass surgery yesterday. The entire staff was wonderful and professional. Dr Augusta has a great bedside manner. He explained the entire procedure and answered all my questions which made me very comfortable. The anesthesia staff was the same. I would like to recognize the nursing staff specifically Teresa, Amanda, Paige, and Matt. They were all very knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. As a nurse myself, I have high expectations. These expectations were all met at Journeylite. I highly recommend.

Had the sleeve surgery in June 2021. I've been very successful so far and have had such a great experience with staff from day 1 and even now through aftercare. Went to Dr. Curry through referral. He's very good at checking in on his patients outside of appointment times. I'm so glad I made this decision and used Dr. Curry for this process!

My 20 year old Daughter went here for Breast Reduction Surgery. Surgery was OK but the after care was so bad. They left her Wounds open to Drain and they got Infected. We would try to contact the Dr. that did the Surgery and he would not reply to us. The Secretary told US no Pain Meds. We had to take her to Kettering Sycamore Wound Care for Help. They said they have heard of a Dr. not treating his Patient after Surgery like this. It took 6 Months to get healed up. Avoid at all Cost. They are better Dr. out there that treat their Patients with better Respect.

I had the VSG Surgery on 3/23/21. Dr. Trace Curry performed my procedure as outpatient surgery due to me having a lower BMI, but qualifying due to having high blood pressure. As an outpatient; immediately after recovery & once I was able to be moved, my family member met me at the center and we went directly to a very nice & clean hotel ( 5 minutes away) where we were housed in for the next 24 hours.

I have had absolutely ZERO issues since the procedures, I am currently 10 days postOpt. I am losing weight in what I think is a healthy rate ( 1-2 lbs daily), and have nothing but sincere praise and good things to say about my overall experience. I feel simply amazing and excited! THANK YOU DR. CURRY! And the whole Journeylyte Staff, this has been a smooth operation.

I had my first consult in early November 2020, and surgery on 12/29/2020. I was a self-pay patient and this helped make the process from start to finish very easy and fast! They even gave me a discount for being self-pay. Everything went smoothly, from pre-op testing to the surgery itself. As long as you follow the plan, you will lose weight quickly and safely. Dr. Curry and all his staff were friendly and helpful. My questions were always answered quickly and completely. 5/5 would recommend!
