Kinda disappointed. We're new to the area and are trying to find a pediatrician for our toddler. It's been harder than we thought. I was hoping this clinic would fit, but there have been a few issues. We went in for a sick visit to rule out an ear infection, and though we waited for quite a while in the room (not really a problem), the doctor was decently friendly, though a teeny bit rough checking our toddler's throat (he hasn't ever cried out during an office visit).
Not a huge problem, but still. We were given a protocol of one OTC drug and one prescription; I remembered what the OTC was, but we waited nearby all afternoon for the prescription to be called in and it never was. Understandably, it was a communication error, but it wasn't until the next day that the office called it in, after saying the prescription is also an OTC drug (it's basically not, since the only place online you can find it is on a sketchy site called medipool; CVS, Walgreens, no one has it), and I waited a few days for the pharmacy to call only to call again and was told that the prescription (Rescon) is unavailable. So.we are basically still at square one.
Small other issues are that the website seems unprofessional, as in there are quite a few spelling errors and it just doesn't seem like one that's professionally built. When I called the second time, the nurse had asked if our need was for eye drops and I had to ask, "Does the chart not say?" Just not the right fit for us.

I took my son for a sick visit all the girls in the front were really nice and helpful. The MA was real nice as well and of course the doctor himself was helpful. What I loved the most was that I didn't have to wait too long. I usually do and it's hard to be there specially when you have a sick child.

Dr Fershtman is an amazing Pediatrician! Super friendly, outstanding bedside manner, and we had a wonderful well check for my 1 month old today. I'm super picky and have my bar set high, I've been in the medical field for an average of 18 years, so I know what I'm seeking in a physician and staff in regards to customer service and patient care. This also isn't my first rodeo with kids, I have more than one, also I've worked in pediatric medicine- so I am very very well versed with how little ones should be treated (and their protective parents!). This clinic was outstanding in every aspect! From start to finish! Front desk-MA-MD- & check out. way to go guys!

We will not be back here! my son had ear pain and a low grade fever. we took him in to get checked for an obvious ear infection on Monday. MD said it looked fine and nothing was wrong with his ear. Next day, higher fever and he is crying in pain cause it got worse. We call them in the a.m. to get him on antibiotics. They call us back at 4:30pm to tell us we have to bring him in and if we can't take him in now, then take him to urgent care cause they will not give antibiotics.
He is under 2 so most urgent cares will not take him. By the time we get an appointment next day, his ear drum ruptured from the infection and began leaking. We finally got him in to pediatric urgent care who gave him antibiotics and drops for his now ruptured ear drum. This could have been avoided if that had treated him the first time. this was poorly handled in my opinion and cause my son unneeded pain and suffering and risked permanent damage.

I have been to Forest Pediatrics several times and regardless of which Doctor we are seen by they have all seemed to be attentive to my son and competent. This visit was our first time to be seen by Dr. Fershtman and he was knowledgeable and also offered a referral to a specialist as the skin condition and allergies my son has will require additional treatment beyond what a primary pediatrician can provide. I appreciate this Doctor's willingness to refer to a specialist for further review of the cause rather than simply treating the symptoms.

Forest Pediatrics has great patient care! Dr. Fershtman is very quick and efficient. The front desk was very polite and helpful when it came to questions I had regarding updated paperwork. The nurses were extremely helpful and actually cared about my concerns and questions. The entire staff was attentive and helpful the entire time which is what I am looking for in a pediatrician.

We are new to The Woodlands and I found this place through a mom's group on Facebook. We saw Dr. White who is great, but unfortunately the overall experience was a bust for us and our 12-month-old son. The overall atmosphere of the office is stuffy. The front desk gals are not friendly. I don't expect my child to love going to the doctor, but I truly felt that they could've made him feel more comfortable and confident during the appointment. Overall I'm disappointed and will be going elsewhere. There is talent and potential here but they need to make the place feel more warm and welcoming.

I truly love the doctors at Forest Pediatrics and their nurses are the most friendly I've met. They make my girls feel so comfortable. I think this is most important so I'm giving 5 stars. These are people who take care of my children, make them well and make them feel comfortable and not scared. Great location for me and my family and very clean.
But I do want to note the front desk staff (I consider new) that's been there awhile now, both ladies are NOT friendly, very dry personalities, they do not smile or make us feel welcomed upon check in, they're short in their response and somewhat rude. Their persistence in payment is horrible. My ex husband had a family emergency and practically begged to call back and pay and they said we couldn't leave until payment was received. We have double insurance, I'm sure you're being paid. The front desk is often the first opinion of patience so maybe reconsider the "face" of your practice.

We are former Lake Area Pediatrics patients of Dr. J S Robinson since birth. When he retired, our hearts broke. I feel that he left us in great hands, however, with Dr. Fershtman. We've only been to the Forest Pediatrics office a few times but each time I leave happy and feeling like my kids are in good hands. The entire staff has been very accommodating.
They take their time listening to you and don't rush you or treat you like a number. One of the nurses actually noticed my sons Rubik's cube and spent a couple of minutes chatting and watching him complete it in under a minute. That may seem small but it means a lot to this Mama.
