Radiology & Imaging offers the latest advances in ultrasound technology to perform applications in cardiac, obstetric and vascular areas.

Welcome to Radiology & Imaging of South Texas in Corpus Christi, Texas, where we provide diagnostic imaging services in a caring, comforting patient environment with leading-edge imaging technologies. Our extensive expertise in medical imaging allows us to give physicians and patients the very best in service and care.
At Radiology and Imaging, our high-field wide-bore MRI scanners are designed for maximum patient comfort. Coupled with our radiologists' expertise, we are able to produce a superior level of imaging. We routinely perform imaging exams for advanced applications such as vascular disease, stroke, musculoskeletal joint disorders, abdominal/pelvic conditions, brain disorders, and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA - a study of the vessels).
Radiology & Imaging's multi-slice CT technology allows our radiologists to capture multiple, wafer-thin images of a patient's anatomy within seconds and gives us greater flexibility to customize patient procedures and perform new types of exams, including studying blood vessels. Our state-of-the-art technology allows us to optimize every aspect of your CT experience, from shorter exam times and greater patient comfort, to superior image quality - which translates into a more accurate diagnosis.CT (Computed Tomography), also called CAT scan, is a safe and painless exam that uses x-ray technology to obtain detailed, cross-sectional images of the body.
Nuclear Medicine is a specialized area of radiology that uses very small amounts of radioactive materials, known as radiopharmaceuticals or isotopes, to examine organ function and structure. Since x-rays pass through soft tissue, such as intestines, muscles, and blood vessels, these contrast agents must be used to visualize certain parts of the body.

Yesterday I had an appointment, which my Dr made week prior, I had a follow up Dr appointment to Specialist which was also called in by Dr due to it needing urgent attention. I had called week prior to verify appointment and co pay. Was told they could not tell me as they verify 48 or so before. So I myself called again the following week and spoke to insurance and billing in which they were able to give me my co pay.

Then again I called Wednesday the day before my appointment to confirm time and tests and if I needed to be fasting. The girl who answered was not sure and put me on hold to see and came back to phone to inform me that nothing to eat after midnight. So Thursday upon showing up for my appointment I was informed, that my appointment was next Thursday that they rescheduled due to waiting on Authorization. However.noone ever ever informed me of anything numerous times I called.

They then tried to blame my Dr office saying they just sent orders day before, which I know is untrue, as they would not have been able to schedule my appointment without them. I then called to speak to someone in charge and was told she would check into it I never heard a word. This is soooo disappointing as this is my life and health we are talking about.

It truly frustrated me to know that this is how things get handled, and makes me wonder just how many people have this done to them. Its wrong. When people go to a facility to get help and are treated like this its wrong. I am the type of person as I am sure there are many people who relate. I worry myself with all the what if's of my health and sleepless nights of worry to finally get to the day where you are closer to answers and than you are are told next week like if its that easy.

Now I sit at my Dr appointment with no tests for him to see, because someone dropped the ball. Now I go through another rest of my week, weekend, and week ahead still stressing. I pray this does not continue to happen to people. These tests for some people are life changing and sometimes waiting is the worst outcome.

My appt was at 10:15 and I was here at 9:55, didn't get seen until 11:25 am. I was also given a form to complete at 10:25 am, which should have been given to me when I walked in. Poor service

Molly was most helpful with my registration process. Terri was kind and reviewed all the steps for my exam. Also, Stacey was awesome with rest of my exam. Thank you ladies for a great first time experience with the Spohn Dr location!

Staff was extremely kind for MRI. They even asked what music I preferred to listen to during the exam. Thank you!

I've always had great experiences here. Their equipment looks new and their offices always look clean. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I have had horrible experiences with this imaging center. They never send the results to our office and we've complained repeatedly. Just today, I saw a patient who mistakenly went to their clinic instead of Radiology Associates, which is right around the corner. She had an x-ray done 3 days ago and they never faxed us the results. I tried to call them three times and no one answered the phone, then it sounded like a fax machine picked up. Is that the way to run a business? I think not.
