Excellent staff and doctor. We love this practice and are very satisfied with both sick and well visits. Dr. Karen F is so personable, so, so smart, and we know our family's health is in the very best hands--she'll never miss a thing. We look forward to our visits with her!

We've seen Dr Rusher and Dr Bernstein and they are amazing. The office is friendly and kind. That includes everybody from the moment you get there to the moment you leave. I highly recommend them!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Dr. Parmele was one of the worst doctors I have ever heard of. Justine Parmele diagnosed a loved one of mine with various mental health issues and instead of helping her find safe and comfortable routes to cope with her mental health, she tried forcing her to take medicine that she did not feel comfortable taking.

My loved one was told by Dr. Parmele that therapy would not help, and she refused to write an emotional support animal letter to assist my loved one with her anxieties. Dr. Parmele then insisted that the medicine was the only option that she was willing to offer. She consistently did not take my loved one seriously when expressing her frustrations and made her feel like that her thoughts and opinions were invalid and would constantly blame it on my loved ones mental health issues.

Been going to the Garner location for 19 years! Always get an appointment when I call, love Dr H the most but there are many great caring physicians here. Highly recommend this practice!

Took my kids here for several years. Incredibly convenient since it's so close to our house. We love Dr. Hunt! She was always so kind and personable. It's a big practice, so scheduling appointments can be difficult. Wait times both in the waiting room as well as in the exam room were at least 30 minutes total each visit. These were for scheduled well-checks and we always arrived early. The office staff was sometimes difficult to deal with, so we eventually found another practice.

My child has allergies that these doctors know about but they wouldn't see him for his wellness exam because of a cough. I miss his old doctor that worked there and fought to make him feel better not just turn him away.

Wish I'd never brought my children to these doctors. They injured him with a vaccine, DELIBERATELY. Gave him a second dose after he had experienced an encephalopathy once, worsening him. He is 12 now and my brilliant son is in special Ed every day. They keep the door to the offices locked so the sheriff can't access the doctors to serve them summonses.

That way they can evade litigation. They gave my nine month old an HPV vaccine that was for 9 year olds when it first came out. That's not the child that's injured. My husband and I are the dumbest Ph. Ds on the planet for ever trusting these creatures. Run.

Very poor doctors office. They will try to take money in case there is a fee but takes months to give it back. They gave my 12 year old daughter a survey to take without my knowledge that asks about drug use and marijuana uses to include personal information about the parents. It was the last time we went there. Really scummy. Always a wait for 45 minutes before you get called back and yet they will charge you for rescheduling fee if over 10 minutes late. Guess people are late for waiting 45 minutes. Place is a total scam!

This place is all about making money and does not care to properly diagnose or treat children. A few years back, my wife and I were concerned about our son's speech and hearing as he was way behind. We asked several times about this through several of my son's checkups. The doctor blew it off everytime stating that "he will talk when he is ready." After about the third time hearing this, we took my son to an ENT specialist where they recommend that he immediately have tubes put in his ears or he could end up deaf, as his ears were beginning to close up so badly.

Fast forward a few years later, and my son had frequent colds last year and would vomit due to coughing so hard. The doctor stated that he was fine and would likely grow out of this. Now this year, my son was sick for a week straight with vomiting and a slight fever. My wife was concerned that this could be the flu or RSV as both have been diagnosed to other children in our area.

The doctor tested my son for neither of these and said it was just a cold and recommended benadryl or claritin. My son just woke up from sleeping and immediately vomited everywhere. It's time for him to be checked by an actual pediatrician and someone who actually cares that my son has held barely anything down in the last three weeks!

Very discouraged and disappointed from my last visit for my son. I took my 11 month old son as I have been doing relentlessly since November for a cough that will not go away. While he was receiving a breathing treatment in the practice the nurse jokingly called him a term that as an African American person is beyond inappropriate, disrespectful, and culturally insensitive.

I was in complete shock and our family completely furious. This among plenty of other reasons is why we have decided to change practices. I can't count the numerous times we were rushed through appointment, my son was misdiagnosed, or the doctors literally walked out of the room not telling us that the appointment was finished leaving us sitting there 20-30 after completely oblivious to what we were waiting for. I absolutely would NOT recommend this practice.

I am happy with this pediatric office. We really like Dr. Bernstein. He has worked closely with our family and we respect him greatly. We have had some unique experiences and he has helped us every step of the way. Most of the other physicians are great as well. There are a few that I wouldn't recommend but overall it is a good office. They get you in quickly and return phone calls quickly. We frequent this office!

Just moved to the area so I stopped by to schedule the first appointment for my 2 little girls. The receptionist then told me that their policy was to NOT get their medical records from their previous provider. Even if I did sign a medical release form. I did let her know that my kids previous provider was over an hour away and she basically told me I'd have to go get them in order for them to have them.

After all that, she said she could schedule an appointment. What doctor would see a patient without seeing a child's medical history? None that I know of. But since she said it was their policy I just walked out. It was a complete waste of time. Now I'll have to keep searching for a new provider. I decided to give this place a try because it was so close to our new home and the reviews were good. But sadly, I didn't get any service at all.

I would not recommend taking an infant here. As a new mom, I did a lot of research on pediatric practices, and found a lot of good things about this one. However, through experience, I will say it is not the place for an infant. The small detail that shows this is not the place for an infant is that they do not have a place for nursing mothers to nurse and they push you out the door after your appointment.

First appointment, she had weight loss and I was told to supplement. After speaking with a lactation consultant, I decided not to supplement. Against their advice, she had incredible weight gain and still does. I am sure that if I would have supplemented I would not have been as successful breast feeding as I am now. Third appointment was 1 month.

At this appointment I was ridiculed by a doctor and told I need to purchase a parenting book because I decided to bed share with my breast fed infant. Apparently I had done more research on this than she had, because science has proven it to be safer. Fourth appointment was for my infant running a temperature. It was an after hours appointment. The doctor was in and out so fast. Did not check her temp in office. Said she looked fine, and sent us home.

My 7 week old ended up in the emergency room the following morning because her fever had reached 101.7. It ended up being viral, but needed an IV to help bring it down. Now here we are today. I went in because my daughter has stringy items in her poop that almost look like worms. Our dog has intestinal worms right now. I brought a diaper with that had these items in it.

The doctor looked, said not worms, and left. Ran no tests. Left me still feeling uneasy. And who knows what is in my daughters system. There is one doctor at this practice worth seeing if you have an infant and that is Dr. Rusher. He is the only one that took his time with my daughter, made sure she was okay, and even called on his way out the door to check on my daughter after an appointment with him. I'd love to have her keep seeing Dr. Rusher, however I will no longer take her to this practice.

I will preface by saying I am giving this office 3 stars because the Garner office is spectacular. I have been bringing my daughter here since we moved to the area about 2 years ago. We started out at the Garner office, which was great and then moved to the Raleigh office about a year ago. My last two appointments with two separate doctors at the Raleigh office were not good.

The first of the two appointments was a wellness check and I was berated for not bringing my daughter to daycare, which makes no sense for my family since my husband and I work evenings. I was told she wasn't getting proper socialization since she isn't in daycare, despite the fact the her vocabulary is that of a school aged child and she is not quite 3 and she goes to the park, the library, and playdates every week.

The next appointment was scheduled while the office was closed for lunch. When my daughter and I arrived for our appointment on time, we had to wait 15 min for the office to reopen. When we met with the doctor for a cough, I was told to give my daughter a medication to sedate her at bedtime so she can sleep, despite this medication not being safe for a 2 year old. A week and a half later she is still sick, and needless to say after two bad experiences I am transferring her care.
