At Pediatrics of Central Florida, we consider it both a great joy and responsibility to care for children. Most of us are parents ourselves, so we strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve.
A common misconception is a difference between an "appointment" and a "work-in" or "same day sick" visit. A "work-in" or "same day sick" visit is scheduled on the same day as the appointment, due to your child's illness. We discourage patients from walking in without calling first as the wait is often significant, and you may be asked to return at a later time during that day.
Immunizations have been one of the single greatest advances in preventative medicine and an essential part of well-child care. Our practice follows the immunization guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). For information about these vaccines, the diseases they protect against, immunization schedules, vaccine safety and other important information please visit the AAP immunization page. Horrible customer service. Always issue when you need form completed. The doctor complete my child examination form wrong 3x, going on 3 weeks since I drop off the medical examination form. The head/ supervisor nurse Yvone stated she will have it completed correctly and send it to me still no form and no call back from yvone. The worst part of the situation is the fact I need to provide this form to my job and they don't seem to care that they putting my job at risk. 3 weeks is unacceptable.
One doctor complete the form and did not even review the lab result. How do you complete an examination and give clearance on a bad lab test because you didn't care enough to review it. My son has to repeat the lab but that doctor never informed me

Martha Rodriguez is the only reason I've stayed, she is so great. The people on the phones and everyone who answers are all rude, except for one who actually attempted to help me. I've been put on hold 3 times already, all I needed to know what was my son's last date of his physical, and his weight. All three times I've been hung up on. This place is so unprofessional.

Going to the office is fine, everyone is great. This is at the Kissimmee Oak office. My huge issue is their follow up. My daughter was seen Aug 5 and they were supposed to fill a prescription for her asthma inhaler. No one did and this required me to follow up nearly every other day with no success of someone calling me back. Finally, 25 days later they help get me transferred to someone after I wanted to file a complaint.
I thought the issue was resolved only for the prescription to be kicked back because of insurance. Now, I'm still getting the run around. I was told they corrected it, only to find out the pharmacy never received the call at all. I'm beyond frustrated with the lack of follow-up on their part. I'm constantly attempting to contact them and leaving multiple messages. The poor attention to customer service is ridiculous. Mind you, this is for her asthma and her inhalers are outdated but there's no urgency.

Avoid doctor Rosela J. Rich. She is very rude and unprofessional. We had horrible experience with her. She refused to prescribe reflux medicine for our 5 month old son and we ended up going to ER and getting that medicine because our son wasn't eating at all. ER doctor was shocked that she didn't prescribed it.

Unprofessional, insensitive and nasty! If I could give them 0 stars I would. This practice threatened to send me to creditors over my remaining $100 balance after I've been paying the balance of my bill for the past three months. They even noted that it will affect my credit score as a scare tactic. I've called billing several times with no return calls.
I have phone records from Verizon to prove that I did. They also lied and said they've had no correspondence from me but have cashed every last one of my personal checks to pay down my sons bill. Also, I paid the initial amount then they added onto that amount after I'd already been sent the bill. Don't ever take your child to this place. Unprofessional at best. Probably should do away with the entire billing department while they're at it.

The staff here are all very nice. I have been coming here with my son for 12 years now and the different doctors have all been very pleasant and detailed. But Dr. Umeh goes above and beyond. She is the first Doctor to ever call and check up on my sick son the next day. That blew me away! She is so kind down to earth. She immediately makes you feel so comfortable and she you can see that she really really cares. My son and I just love her!

We LOVE Dr. Umeh! We have been seeing her for over three years now. She is always so kind, patient and listens! We trust her 100%. She has gone above and beyond for my kids and our family.
