Park Place is truly an amazing place to help you get back on track. With all these prescription opioids, it's no wonder why people need rehabilitation after using them! The staff will always say "closed mouths do not get fed." This is 1000 percent true, and if anyone was "mistreated" by staff it's most likely because they didn't show the proper respect enough to be a decent human being. I came in addicted to many drugs, but that gave me no right to treat the staff any type of way. Shout-out to all the peer support and staff for making my recovery easier.

Couldn't sleep one night and over heard one of the nurses telling another that they would need good luck with the school shooter, I was told to stay silent about this but this facility is the worst program in the world. They don't care for your needs, the only thing u can do is watch tv and play cards. They lied about everything to me. they kept me 3 days over the day i was told i would be leaving.
The beds are nasty and i think i got something on my arm from them. I met 3 cool nurses and that was it, the rest hate their job and will scream at you for the tiniest things whenever they can. Especially the night team with the black ladies especially the one in braided hair who wears a bandana over her head and a colorful mask. Every single person would answer your questions with condescending smiles and would be extremely sarcastic. If the higher up that told me to be silent about everything sees this I hope you and your business gets shut down :

My experience at park place detox center was traumatizing. I will never use this facilities again. They really not helping people in a compassionate way. My blood pressure was at 300 and my left arm was in pain and stiff and all they had to say was if I seek treatment at the hospital it will bring me problems and left me there to wait. I think I got permanent damage. Just not to say it all. :

I called to make an appointment and spoke extensively with receptionist to be sure that I was making an appointment for the correct area for my particular situation. Park Place has many different offices/buildings. I told receptionist the reason for my appointment was to establish a new doctor to manage my medication assisted treatment program that I was already undergoing.
I was just moving to Orlando. She actually has me contact another number at Park Place to make my appointment at that office because they were the ones who manage outpatient care. I had called the inpatient reception desk. So I make my appointment which has to be a month out because they are so busy. When the day of the appointment arrives, I am led into an office for a TeleHealth visit which I thought was odd.
Could I not have done this from my home? My "office" visit starts and Neena informs from the get go that she won't be able to assist me with managing my medication, that sort of thing happens in another building. I'm told I will be given a referral for the other department that can possibly assist with my medication management but they probably/maybe only do it on an inpatient basis but she wish she had a clue bc she didn't.
I made it very clear to everyone I spoke with the only reason why I was visiting and I still got the run around. I'm sure the appointment with the next department that can actually help is only a month away. They have yet to call or contact me though so I'll just continue to get my medication online at a premium and thank god that I have the means to pay the extra price. I can see why people resort to self medicating when dealing with medical systems like this one.

I would give you 0 but I have to give you 1 so I can review. Being baker acted against someone's will does something to them mentally and how you handle them during this time makes all the difference.we are so fragile cause I was just labeled crazy when I thought I was completely normal and how I was treated. HELLLLLLL NOOOO its been 8 months and I am still not the same person.because of the treatment I received here you caused me to shut myself of more from the world cause you showed how bad it is.
I feel sooo bad for the people you have in your care.you didn't figure out my mental state. I figured it out myself. I pray you guys get shut down.that would be really awesome!

My experience at park place was excellent. These people are doing great things there. From the peer support team to the resident therapist and the rest of the admin, it's all around great program if you want to change and make things right. I have completed the program successfully and look forward to outpatient therapy. I love the Thursday devotional when they take time from their day for a few uplifting words. The tech who help us with our daily needs we're professional courteous and prompt. I can't wait to be able to come speak there. Thank you so much everyone for all your help.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The attending staff is decent. The attending "doctor" (if you can justify using that term, ) is unusually ill-equipped. He spends 2 minutes on average "reviewing" client background and making his "diagnosis." He is laden with visceral misery which is so obvious, it is clear he can no longer make objective, or nearly qualifying as professional, observations of clients. He needs to have his license revoked immediately, if not sooner.

I started treatment since April last year (2021), I made an appointment for therapy over a zoom call, one, couldn't assist because the internet was not working and they gave me a second appointment. Unfortunately I couldn't assist to that one because of work. Now, they refuse to give me an appointment over the phone. They said I have to go as walk in and see if they can see me which can be a whole day waiting.
The people thar answers the phone is really rude. They don't realize the patients call because they need help. They have hung up the phone when I ask for any explanation It's horrible. Specially the lady named Jayden or Jaydan. Not professional at all.

My experience with Park Place Behavioral Health Cr. is very good. I thank the management and staff for their hard work and dedication. When a family member needed help and was taken to this facility, the staff acted professionally and was exceedingly helpful. I am extremely grateful especially because of a bad experience with another facility a week earlier.
I am please and is quite impressed with the quality of care that was given to my family member. I'm sure there are room for improvement but the organization must be commended for an excellent job. They were diligent, caring and they reach out to us in a timely manner. Again I want to express my gratitude to the management and staff I hope they will continue to help more families.
