Worst experience here! I have had covid symptoms for TWO WEEKS but I'm not testing positive so every nurse and Dr. Bernbeck is refusing to prescribe me any type of medication to help w my symptoms. Words from the doc herself "take a bath and drink some water you'll be fine" I have horrible body aches, a sore throat, 100.1 fever & I just have to take a bath?

I asked her if I'm able to take ivermectin and she said "no I don't want you to take it it doesn't work for covid symptoms" lies. I asked her that if I was able to get some how much should I take and she refused to help w that bc she "feels it doesn't work" - thank you beach family doctors for absolutely nothing! I'm unsure how she was able to become a doctor yet not actually HELP a patient w horrible symptoms.

Let's get started: this place is average at best starting at the front desk you have the overweight can barely breath immobile receptionist who has no clue how to do her job and then the other receptionist who is great the others in the other stations seem to love to chat amongst themselves like high schoolers. And when you enter the decor is so bland cheap and uninviting. Next, trying to get an Appt.

With my pcp that is not weeks out is next to impossible only way for me to be seen is by the nurse practitioner nurse Pham who is the most ignorant prejudice person I have ever met she made me super uncomfortable for each of my visits she was so surprised I was black kept asking me stereotyping questions assuming she knew me and what I wanted surprised I was nothing she assumed black people were like I had to hold my younger multiple time and this nurse could barely be bother to read my paperwork or actual conduct a proper doctors visit will never schedule another visit with her hoping my actual pcp is better. Until I can find a doctor of color I am stuck here.

The receptionist(s) who were in their 30s or 40s were extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. I came in as a new patient and I was in front of them for 10 minutes and I was completely ignored. One receptionist proceeded to talk to a returning patient that was sitting on the chair behind me while I, who was standing right in front of them, needed something.

I suggest hiring better front desk staff with better customer service. they should learn from the other receptionist who booked my appointment through the phone - she was nice and sounded younger (in her 20s).

Dr Harris is the most Caring, Dedicated, Smart, Selfless Doctor I have ever met in my 55 years. When my son received a head trauma she worked tirelessly to help him and our entire family! Without her help and never taking no for an answer! My son is safe and home recovering! I will never be able to thank her! She went above and beyond and is not only the Best at what she does but is also an amazing human with a heart of Gold! Thank you so much Dr. Harris. The Kemeny's are forever in your debt!

Beach Family Doctors has been our primary care physician for about 5 years now. Today my wife asked me to contact their office and see if she could do a zoom visit as she was at work and needed help immediately. I was told she could and referred my wife to contact them directly. When she called to setup and pay for the zoom visit the nurse who answered would not let her make that type of appointment (mind you she has done this type of appointment in the past more than 3 times and always for the same chronic UTIs she gets) she then agrees to go to the office and is told the soonest they can see her is the next day. 24 hours almost she will have to suffer and be in pain seems a bit inhumane.

Clearly this was an unacceptable and unbearable option to agree to. Therefore, she'll be having to go and an Urgent Care or an Emergency Room at the hospital. I'm in total disbelief at the level of disregard for their patients well being and lack of empathy towards my wife who needed help. Clearly she would'nt be calling in saying she's in pain and asking for immediate help considering they are open and have helped in the past only to be told to suffer through it for the next 24 hours.

We have put our faith in you and been to your office numerous times and trusted you to oversee out health and well-being and I'm not sure moving forward we can have confidence in your practice to do what is in our best interest. Shame on you Beach Family Doctors!

I love Dr. Berbeck. She is thorough and kind. Her nurse, Priscilla, is the same. The facilities are convenient and clean. The office staff is always helpful I getting me seen or retuning my calls. A great medical practice.

Outstanding professional medical service. Clean examination rooms. I was seen quickly and on time. I can recommend them as primary care providers for anyone.

I had an appointment here for the first time today. I haven't seen a doctor in quite a few years so I had a few concerns to go over and I was looking for an overall checkup. The front desk was pleasant enough and I was quickly moved into the exam room to wait for the doctor. After about 25 minutes of waiting Dr. Andrew Mleynek walked in and introduced himself.

After about 2 minutes of talking his phone started ringing and he had to excuse himself so he could "text his daughter to remind her of something". After a couple of minutes he continued to talk to me. The whole experience seemed rushed, after 20 minutes he even told me to hurry up with my explanations because he had already been in the room for at least 20 minutes.

I can't believe how an establishment like this could be in business if this is how they treat their first time patients. I wouldn't recommend this doctors office to anyone. I feel like that was a waste of my time and money.

My experience with Dr. Berbeck is one of a wonderful Doctor/patient relationship. Her "bedside manner" is so refreshing because she truly cares about the patient. She has been our family physician for over 20 years beginning with our kids at Hoag Hospital and continuing on with their growth over all the trials and tribulations of staying healthy. The front office staff was courteous, very professional and responsive to everything that needed to get done.

This tells me, that the front office staff in the past, probably responded in a firm manner to patients that were small minded, rude and demeaning (as several of the previous less than 5 star reviewers probably are).
